We made it to the Central Florida Fairgrounds on the last day of the 2026 Central Florida Fair. There are two new polices regarding bags and minors that were implemented. The bag policy permits only clear bags, except for diaper bags and bags for medical items. There is a maximum of 2 minors per paid adult allowed. All minors 17 and under have to be accompanied by a parent/legal guardian 21+. There were guided parking and ample parking spaces when we arrived. Check points were set up for bag checks, metal detectors and of course ticket collection. The staff members working the bag check and the exit gate were courteous and polite. The Fairgrounds was not crowded so it was easy to walk about and not bump into other people. There was law enforcement presence inside and outside the Fairgrounds. read more

Great experience at the Central Florida Fair with small kids. The petting zoo was a huge highlight--they loved feeding and interacting with the animals. The 4-H exhibits were also really nice to walk through and gave them a chance to see livestock and learn a bit about how much work goes into raising the animals. There were plenty of midway games that kept them entertained, and they had a blast trying to win prizes. One thing that really surprised me was the $20 per person helicopter rides over the fairgrounds. We almost did it and I kind of regret not taking the chance--hopefully they bring that back next year. Overall a really fun family outing with lots for younger kids to see and do. read more

The Central Florida Fairgrounds has always been one of those go-to destinations for big events and community celebrations. I grew up coming here every year for the Lunar New Year festival, which is sponsored by the local community and the Vietnamese Catholic Church, so it definitely holds a lot of nostalgic memories for me. As expected, whenever there's a major event it gets very busy -- but that's part of the energy and excitement. The venue itself is very spacious with plenty of open areas both indoors and outdoors, which makes it easier to walk around, enjoy performances, and explore all the food vendors. Speaking of food... that's honestly one of my main reasons for coming back every year! It's always a great way to support the community while enjoying amazing cultural dishes. The bathrooms aren't the most luxurious, but they're still better than many other large event venues, and I appreciate that they're available throughout the grounds. Overall, I love coming here for celebrations like Lunar New Year -- it's lively, meaningful, and a great space for bringing people together. Rain or shine the event must go on ! The Night Nation 5K run was an epic run of music , glow in dark everything and all for a good cause ! The actual event was a 5 stars however the parking and running in mud was a 1star ! A back up pan to use Barnett park for the race would have been way better than running and waking in puddles that were ankle deep, mosquitoes and darkness. The parking was horrendous!!!! They charged $20 to park in mud where some cars were stuck after the event or hit from other cars trying to get out. Would I go to another NNR, absolutely but not during the rainy season again . Stand up to cancer and join the run in your city !!! read more

Okay, it's old and needs a lot of updating, but hey, it serves it's purpose of being a gathering place for trade shows, concerts, and fairs. This particular visit was for the Central Florida Gun Show, which I come to nearly every year. Parking is free and there is always room; only once did I have to walk a bit, but at least the weather was nice. Getting into the exhibition halls is easy. They have a lot of food options, and there are bathrooms in every building. I saw Willie Nelson here a while ago, a good experience then as well. I haven't been to a fair in a decade, but I hope to come to the next one. All in all, always a good experience here! read more

I was recently in Orlando for a music festival that was held here at the Central Florida Fairgrounds. It was honestly one of the best music festival experiences I've ever had (and I go to a lot of them), and I have no doubt that the location had a hand in it. Why might you ask? 1) It was easy to get in and out of. Between the parking lot and the rideshare drop off, the flow of traffic was organized well. 2) I love how close to the water it is. I could look to the left and see Lawn Lake and look to the right and see all the fun stuff going on. 3) The grounds were well kept. The walkways were clear, the grass was mowed, and even when it rained, they had straw brought in to tackle the mud, along with other techniques. While I wasn't there for the fair, I know the space is used for a lot of different events and I would return for others if given the chance. read more

Last night I went to this event "Nude Night" hosted at the Central Florida Fairgrounds, a venue where many events take place. However, about this event, I expected more performances. The first event I assisted was back in 2009 and the exhibition was amazing... let's say, no restrictions. After many years, I go back to see this event and I was very surprised at all the restrictions they may have imposed over the years, and the experience was not as amazing as my previous event. However, the paintings by the different artists were absolutely stunning and all were available for purchase. Last, I will always be impressed and amazed by the acrobatic and pole dance performances. read more

There are many events sponsored here. I have never had an issue with parking when attending any events at the fairgrounds. There is not a lot, but a grassy field where people park. When it rains, some parts of the grass get very water logged, so bring extra shoes and socks if it's been rainy. There are public restrooms that are kept decently clean, but it's nothing fancy. The surrounding area is known as being a little rough, but I have never had issues with crime at any events I've attended. read more

Drove out to Orlando to see the Ashes of Leviathan Tour celebrating 20 Years of Ashes of the Wake & Leviathan featuring Malevolence, Kerry King, Mastodon and Lamb of God at the Orlando Amphitheater. It was an awesome show with phenomenal bands, the weather was very cooperative. So you know, you have to pay for parking on the property ($20). I live in the Tampa area and at the Amp in Tampa parking is normally free. Also at the Orlando Amp it's just standing room only, no seats, general admission so I will probably not come back for another show only because 6 hours on my feet is a killer for this old body. Here's a tip, eat before you come out to this venue as well as pregame, drinks will drain your wallet. It was a fun night with some great music. They also had a dedicated water station, that was very good, since it was hot in the beginning few hours of the concert. read more

Large clean facility with a grass parking lot across the road. Two of us came out here to attend the job fair and ended up coming home with some really nice swag. While neither of us found a job at this job fair, we did help find someone who has been out of work for much longer than us, and they started their job today. I did appreciate that those that worked at the fairgrounds with the parking were efficient and organized. From the main entrance all the way to the direction for parking the vehicles. The ones at the door, and that were around the outside of the facility were pleasant to encounter, and I just really want to go back to how clean everything was. I feel that's a pretty big deal for fairgrounds in particular. I look forward to attending future events here. read more

We went for the Central Florida Fair. We went during daylight. It was ok... Admission was 15. There was security with metal detectors. When we went it was not busy and was somewhat fun. There was live music and farm animals and lots of rides for kids. The bathrooms were clean. Staff were friendly. I later heard of a deadly shooting event that happened at night, This is why we never go to public events like this after dark any more. This city has been let go by the mayor. He stopped caring years ago. We won't be back after this even during the day. There are so many nicer events in cities close by that still care. Orlando has turned itself into a joke. My Wife and I came out to the Fairgrounds for "Nude Nite" on Valentine's Day (2-14-2020). This was our first time attending the event and we both thoroughly enjoyed our time there. I feel like a hermit because Nude Nite was celebrating its 15th year and this is my first-time hearing about it (Thank you Kelly H. & YELP). Nude Nite is a body-themed immersive pop-up art experience that includes nude artwork, Burlesque stage shows, body painting, interactive works and much more. The event was scheduled for February 13th through the 15th from 6:00pm to 12:00am. Tickets were discounted to $30 with early online purchase through Eventbrite or $35 at the door. Event highlights: * Three Burlesque shows with two performers for each show (9pm, 10pm & 11pm). * Free Face and Body Painting. * Variety of erotic pole dancers. * Stilt walkers. * Acrobat shows. * Interactive works of art. * Performers wearing unique costumes. * Nudity! * Photography encouraged. Something to note about the event is that there are no tables or chairs. The only place to take a load off was in a small tented area toward the back of the venue. I thought that this was a great idea but it was a bit packed in there. Other than that, there is literally nowhere to take a break from standing for 6 hours. I had trouble in the 4.5 hours I was there so I can only imagine how someone twice my age must feel. The other thing I noticed is there was not much food available to choose from. "Uncommon Catering" was there and provided about 9 menu options but they were limited. I figured with several hundred guests being there for several hours there would be more food choices available. With that said, after ordering food or drink, patrons were left wandering around awkwardly with their hands full the duration of their meal. Might want to rethink this process in years to come. Drink prices were reasonable. $5 for a beer and $8 for wine or mixed drink. The options were somewhat limited but because this is a "pop-up" event I give them a pass especially since the bartenders were on point with that $8 pour. The Bathrooms are located in an adjacent building outside of the main venue. Although there is a vast supply of urinals and stalls in the men's room to choose from, there are some problems to note. Several of the soap and paper towel dispensers are not functioning, toilets are leaking from fittings, doors are missing hardware and locks, tile and drywall needs repair or patching. I have seen much worse in my travels but in my opinion, the bathrooms could use a much-needed refresh. I would definitely return to Nude Nite in the future, I just hope the next time we come some of the issues are addressed. I doubt much will change especially since this was their 15-year anniversary and they are at the mercy of the convention center for the bathroom related issues. However, I would return because all the great artwork and people involved in the production of this event. read more

We came here for the 2020 Rising Vibes Reggae and Ska Festival. Thanks to the Orlando Yelp team for the tickets. The event was fun although the weather was chilly and windy. Luckily we dressed for the occasion. Some people did not. It's nice Orlando has a venue like this, but having been to a number of other outdoor festivals, I think the venue could use an update. And $20 to park was a little outrageous, and would have been more so had the tickets not been gratuitous. It's cheaper to park in Downtown Orlando. I'm not sure if it's the event or the venue which charges that, but that will keep people away from coming back. The restroom situation for the Amphitheater was a little concerning. The lines were pretty long to get in and I'm pretty sure only one building was opened. Some of the sinks in the men's room were non-operational as well. There's a restroom right outside the entrance and with a move of the admission, there would be at least 2 buildings for people to use. It's a nice venue for a medium to large event. However, I would think if the amphitheater event was packed full, managing all of the people would be a problem. There's a whole other area where they were setting up a fair/carnival with rides as well, but we were restricted to the stage side only. I hope they have more restrooms over there. read more

We came here for a event. Nude Nite. The event was held at one of the warehouses on the grounds of the fairgrounds. There was plenty of parking and it was free. This was my first time to this event so I did not know what to expect but we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We stayed for about 4 hours. Cost was $35 at the door. Liquor drinks for $8 beer was $5 and cokes were $3. There is very limited food options so I would definitely eat before you come. there is nowhere to sit no tables or chairs only a small seating area in the back that was packed with people. The bathrooms are outside in a different facility this would have been a disaster if it was raining. But it wasn't so I was happy! Shows that were put on were very good and the artwork was very interesting and beautiful. I think I may return in the future and bring some friends. read more

Social Distortion and Flogging Molly brought me and my lady to Central Florida Fairgrounds not too long ago. Overall, it's a refreshing spot to see a concert, away from the manufactured glitz of venues like House of Blues. Location, it's easy to reach from Downtown Orlando. Parking-wise, there's plenty of it, and Central Florida Fairgrounds does a good job of dispersing traffic through various exits. Depending on the event, there's usually some decent food and drink vendors for a amphitheater/ fairgrounds. The vibe and feel is very laid back and down home, which makes watching a show there enjoyable -- especially, if you're trying to watch your favorite band up close to the stage. Central Florida Fairgrounds is good spot to see concerts, as I'm sure other events that take place at the venue. read more

So we have been to the fairgrounds for a variety of events, from pet adoption shows and shopping, to the Maker's Faire and most recently for the Bubble Run 5k event. There is a lot of parking on site but it can fill up quickly if the event is large or popular. They charge $20 a car, so it's pretty steep...try to share rides if you can. I dislike that the parking crosses to the other side of where the buildings are so people literally have to walk in front of the moving line of traffic to get to the shows. Seems like there should be a better way... The 5k run was off to the grassy area, and they didn't seem to mow or care for the field areas too much, it was pretty rough terrain, especially with a stroller. But a fun event overall and we were happy in the end, so not a huge deal. Overall: C+ Steep parking fee and weird parking vs. walking to building layout, but they offer fun events so we'll most likely be back. read more

I am comparing it to other fairs that I have been to and I am comparing it to the South Florida Fair. Went here on Saturday, the entree fee online was $15/person. This fair in central Florida has it's unique qualities to it. It was not crowded at all and vendors are considerably friendly, especially when I was walking around with a turkey leg on my hand and every stand I walk pass were talking about it, it was a fun experience. This one compared to the south Florida fair is that it was spacious and it also have a helipad that offer helicopter style sightseeing that circles around the fair. When compared to south Florida fair it lack the food variety and less attraction. In the one down south , it has stands with gator meats and Americanized Chinese food but the central Florida fair only have traditional fair food and only one or two stands that offer tacos and kebabs, most stands foods that they offer are repeats of one another. The attraction at the south Florida one has more going on with horses and other type of animal interaction for free, in the central Florida fair it has a "cool zoo" that you have to pay $5/person just to get in a decent size tent to see some animals. Overall, it is a good place to hangout with friends and something to do while you are in town. read more

For a fairgrounds in Orlando, this location is pretty ideal. It is located on West Colonial Drive, just west of the thriving downtown area. There is plenty of parking and they even have a good sized amphitheater in the back free concerts and shows. I was just there for an event and the attitude I experienced or rather witnessed of one of the management is the reason for only three stars. A gentleman who was riding around on a Segway with a huge cigar stuck in his mouth was the perpetrator of this attitude. It just showed a condescending and uncaring stance held by the employees of this fairgrounds. At least for this gentleman, he has forgotten that without events in patrons, he has no job. While I was waiting on line on a chilly Saturday morning a transformer blew on the property. The lights were still on inside, at least in the area that I could see, but he was not letting anyone in. Let me also state that I can understand that. But there was no reason for him to pull a Power Trip in front of the fifty or sixty people waiting in line. He was screaming in the radio that he doesn't care, but no one is going in until he says so. This is in front of us all. Once again, I can understand safety procedures, but you do not need to stand in front of everyone just to Grand stand your position. I think it would have also been beneficial had you rode your little Segway over to the Transformer that blown that was not far from us to get an update. While this was an unpleasant thing to witness, I will applaud the general layout of the grounds. read more

I came here for Jurassic Quest, a traveling Dino show for kids. There were no signs to show us where to park or enter the event. Parking was in a field with no attendant and there was a little path behind a gate and blocked off area that gave you entrance into the event. Parking was free- that's for 2 stars. Most of the staff were not happy to be there which definitely has an effect on the experience. It seemed extremely unorganized and put together last minute. This was my first time at the venue so I'm curious to see how other events are organized there. read more

The husbeastie and I came out to the fairgrounds for HAMCATION 2020. We got there around 11:00 am thinking that'd be a good time, WE WERE WRONG. Apparently people who ham, are early birds and get to places stupid early for parking. We were in overflow, but that's ok. Since this was our first Hamcation, we didn't know what to expect, now that we've been, Well, now we know. We explored, we looked around and we shopped. It was an experience. Would we repeat that? I've been coming to the fairgrounds for many years for lots of different events. It's a huge fairground typical of any fairground with big buildings and lots of parking space to accommodate a ton of people. The two most recent events I went to was both an outdoor event and an indoor one. The outdoor one was a reggae Festival a few months ago. The place was packed but we had ample parking and everything was organized pretty well. There are lots of vendors and it was a great crowd but I must say that they could've cut the grass before this event happened. Here we are all trying to dance, wine, party and have fun in knee high grass. I Know that I was at outdoor event but I wasn't ready for the weeds and stuff to be all up in my toes. I should have worn some hiking boots instead of my cute sandals. I'm sure people pay to have their event at the fairgrounds and the least you could do is accommodate them by mowing the grass so it looks neat and we don't have to feel like we're on safari or something. The very most recent events I went to was in the war and this was the new night event. This is the fifth year in a row that I have come to this event. I didn't notice the grass because it was dark and I didn't really go outside except for to park my car. This event is always a fun and fabulous time. The venue of the fairgrounds is a perfect place because the building is just a big industrial warehouse end it really can hold a crowd comfortably. If you've never been to this event here, do you self a favor and take your honey next year on Valentines weekend. It's tons of beautiful nude art and also there are lots of live painted exhibits and burlesque dancers. It's not for prudish people because you are going to see all kinds of private bits in paintings and real live wieners and what not BUT it's not sexual in any way. No one is running up on you all full frontal. There are drinks and light bites but I recommend you eat before/after the show because lines are long. It usually runs the weekend of Valentine's Day and is from 6-12 with performances at certain times throughout the night. Also, you can purchase any of the art you see. read more

Bottom Line: either leave super early or bring a book...... Went for a concert. Saw Pitbull and he was fantastic. Enjoyed the show. Other than that - terrible venue. You park in a field - no numbers, no markers whatsoever. Luckily I took pics of the buildings at both ends of my lane and I still had a hard time finding my car in the dark. I left the concert 25 minutes before the end thinking I would be able to beat the traffic. Not a chance. I finally pulled over and re-parked my car in fear of hitting the pedestrians that were weaving in and out of the lines of moving cars. I sat for an hour. I attempted 2 other times and just decided not to risk getting hit by those people that refuse to let you merge in. They need more traffic direction at the end of the concert not just for the initial parking process. Also, not enough garbage bins around the area. I was in the VIP area with free food and free drinks and before the main act started the ground was a mess! Beer cans, water bottles and plates everywhere. Hardly any garbage receptacles in sight. Bottom Line: for a free event - it was worth the money - for anything else I'd skip the hassle. read more

Hams are great friendly people and always helpful with very calm atmosphere. Not as many food services this time, but food was good with reasonable pricing. Highly recommended. read more

I have visited the CF Fairgrounds on several occasions since moving to Orlando in 2018. I have seen several gun shows, the yearly Florida Fair, and I frequently visit for the Farmers Market. The grounds a well cared for, and during larger events the parking although extremely crowded is managed well with ample space for parking my wheelchair accessible van. The grass and ground don't have many pot holes, and grades have been smoothed out for ease of access and maneuvering with my motorized wheelchair. The bathrooms are accessible however because events are so busy keeping them clean isn't a high priority so I try not to use them if possible. The staff is always pleasant and accommodating. I would recommend stopping through for one if they're many events and enjoy a fun day out with the family. read more

I've been to so many fairs I can't even begin to count them... we have gone to fairs spanning Florida to California. So, this fair has its pros & cons. PROS: * Its inexpensive for entry, and ALWAYS has a Groupon available that is well worth it (usually single ticket for $8 or 4 tickets for $15). * The wristbands (for unlimited rides) are the CHEAPEST here. This is the #1 reason I even come to this venue. If that price margin increased, it would honestly lose all appeal. *Parking is FREE. CONS: * This venue is pretty dumpy, if I'm being honest. I have plenty of friends who will not join us for this reason. * There are very, very few food vendors - you get the basic fair food (turkey legs, pizza, popcorn) but lack the variety of other fairs. * The port-a-potties are V-I-L-E here. It's worth the walk & the wait for the (sparse) indoor restrooms available on-ground. * The rides are rickety. They had to stop the carousel & rearrange the seating because too many people were on one side of it. All of the people were little kids, so... lol but really, all of the rides are. So... there's my bit on it. I'll reiterate that none of the Cons stop me from coming every year! read more

We went as a family to the Central Florida Fair. Took the grandson. We had a fabulous time. We ate our way through the fair. Deep fried Oreo, deep fried Twinkie, Krispy Kreme donut burger, bacon wrapped hot dogs. We basically are our way though the fair. There was a tiger display that was worth the price of admission. A display of six tigers, ranging in weight from 300lbs to 500lbs was amazing. These animals were highly trained and were a delight to watch. read more

We went there for the weekly flea/ farmers market (Fri- Sun) this morning and bought a starfruit [carambola] tree for $18.00, a mango tree for $20.00, a bottle of Balsamic vinegar for $2.00, and a small [8oz] wheel of Camembert cheese for $1.00. As a bonus, we got to watch the Boston Crusaders Drum and Bugle Corps marching band [one of the nations finest] rehearse in the field next door! Free. Yeah, I love this place. Chuc Mung Nam Moi!! Happy New Year! Vietnamese New Year, that is. Every year, Central Florida Fairgrounds becomes home to the Orlando Vietnamese New Year Festival -- complete with (yummy yummy) authentic food vendors, plant sellers, local business representatives, games, prizes ($1500 giftcards, a new car, etc.), concerts, talent shows, and the traditional Dragon Dance! It's different every year, but it's definitely worth visiting once a year, even if it's just to eat the different kinds of foods or buy flowers or fruit trees. This is one of my favorite festivals. It's open to the public and everyone speaks English, so definitely go when you get the chance! The venue itself isn't super nice -- it's a metal warehouse kinda deal. But it's clean, air-conditioned, and suitable for events like this. I definitely wouldn't have a super fancy shindig here though. Parking is on the grass/earth. On a separate note, I noticed the flea/farmer's market Dale mentioned; so I'll definitely be visiting that as well. read more

Bacon wrapped chicken, turkey legs, & roasted corn, OH MY! I come to the Central Florida Fair for 1 reason & 1 reason only...to stuff my face. I fasted the entire day just to make sure that there would be room in my belly for loads of deep fried, greasy, acid reflux inducing goodness. It. Was. Worth. It. My sister & I had a blast just wanderin' & eatin'. I did feel a little let down because I couldn't find gator bites at any of the vendors this year, though. I'm not even going to get into how much I ate, just know that my burps still tasted of cheesesteak fries the next day (eeeeeww!). I recently went to the funk fest over the past weekend and I honestly had a horrible time the biggest turn off for me was that I paid $140 for concert tickets just to arrive to people sitting in the parking lot with their lawn chairs watching a show that I paid for for free like if that was the case I would've just tailgated the show as well and saved me $140 and then to top it off all of the staff was literally like they pick them up off a corner and offered them the job for the day none of them look nice in the uniform none of them had knowledge of the job like literally none of them knew what they were doing and the parking lot attendants don't get me started not only did I pay 20$ to park I had to park myself and then when I park myself others begin to pour in and park themselves meaning you have cars blocking other cars like all types of stuff if I had not been sitting in my car I would've been blocked in so if I needed to leave early I wouldn't have been able to I would've had to wait to whoever that was to come out of the concert to let me back out that's ridiculous like that's what a parking lot attendant is for but they were clueless as to why it took us almost 2 hours to get out of that parking lot with parking lot attendants directing traffic tell me how much sense that makes I just overall had a horrible experience here and I appreciate The fairgrounds here in Tampa we know how to get it done we know how to have a show we know how to direct traffic in and out oh and we don't charge for parking! I will not be back to Orlando Fairgrounds for anything in the future horrible horrible horrible so glad I have all of you to tell this to ! read more

I am a big fan of fairs. This one was crap. There is really no good way of sweet talking this one. It was crap enough that we made them refund our ride tickets and we ended up leaving. The fair itself is located nice and cozy in an area where one would not typically roll down their windows, unless they are looking for a few grams of choice narcotics. The fairgrounds itself literally looks like a run down school football field with a few municipal buildings. I had last visited this place ten years ago for a reptile expo. Absolutely $0 has been invested in upkeep since. Luckily, parking was free. It was also being managed by a few kids that I can only guess were plucked from detention. They had zero effs to give, and should not have been given keys to drive a golf cart. None of them looked as if they had any work ethic. It was $10 to get in for the adults, which is typical. The food was not overly priced, with most drinks running $3-6, and the only food we bought, an elephant ear, was $6. There is almost no shade, so plan on bringing one of those tourist umbrellas. Or go somewhere else. The kicker for us was the fact that this fair (Wade amusements) DOES NOT CATER TO SMALL CHILDREN. Who the hell sets up a fair that you cannot bring toddlers on the KIDDY rides? Our two year old son is nearly 30 inches, and has been on most Disney Rides and numerous fairs. He could not do a SINGLE ride at this fair, other than the malnourished mini pony ride, which was privately owned and operated. This sucks when you have your kids and you can't even take them on the stupid train or anything. If we had known this, we would not have gone in the first place. If you are traveling with a toddler under 36 inches, do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. I give this fair a second star because I liked my elephant ear. Also, they had a parakeet place where you could feed them. My son loved this. Save your money and time and go to the Strawberry Fest, or even the McDonalds playplace. read more

Seems like parking is $20 for every event which is ridiculous. It's on a field, dirt, terrible to get out of (no direction or rhyme or rhythm to getting out), but yet paying the same price you would pay to park at Amway for example where it's covered parking. Not in the best area so don't leave valuables in the car. Bathrooms are ok, not the best not the worst (they do at least have actual bathrooms and not just porta-potties). We went most recently for the Florida Man festival and they could've done a way better set up with vendors. Food, drinks, and merchandise were all crammed in one section on both sides and made it hard to get through that area when there was plenty of set up space elsewhere. read more
