First and foremost, I love Oregon. Period, full stop. The trees, the green, the ambiance of the state was all rolled up perfectly at this venue. Please trust me that my pictures do not do it justice. Just gorgeousness everywhere you look. As a wedding guest, I appreciated the convenience of everything being on property. The hall for the eating, dancing, celebrating was just behind where the wedding was. Awesome. I didn't get to see very much more of the property, but from what I heard from family is that this was such a great choice for them to have their wedding celebration. If I could rate Yellow Gold Farm and Heather (owner) higher than 5 stars, I would. Heather is the epitome of kindness and helpfulness. First, she has a gorgeous facility: giant walnut trees, immaculate lawn and flowers, perfect bridal cottage for preparations, classy décor, I could go on. Secondly she gave some wonderful suggestions (do your receiving line as guests are lined up for buffet, have plates made for you so you eat, get caterer to pack a to-go box for you, sign documents as part of the ceremony, and many, many more). She also really works FOR you; she wants this to be exactly what you have envisioned for your wedding day, and her crew will do whatever it takes to make you happy. Her communication is great, her energy endlessly positive. I can't say enough good things about her. I had literally dozens of guests tell me that this was the best, most beautiful wedding venue they had ever attended, and many of these guests were older people. I can't recommend enough! read more
