Second driver we had (didn't catch name, but cab 11) was quite rude. She was twenty minutes late after the time requested. She insulted my son saying he didn't know how to slam doors. After he tried to shut the door 3x. Didn't get out of cab to shut door properly. And drove in town going over 60 in a 35. Was checking her messages on phone. Went over potholes on my son's side on purpose. Finally at the end of the ride, after my husband mentioned to her to get the cracked windshield fixed her response was obnoxiously saying "and". This is a safety hazard. The last item to mention was she started the fare at $4.80 before we drove a foot. Zoom in for cracked windshield. Dakota gets a 5 out of 5. Cab driver 11 gets a 0.

However, the shore excursion was very disappointed due to raining, basically the shuttle bus dropped visitors off at the visitor center and let guests go for a walk to see glaciers, but most tour people decided to stay at the visitor center to avoid a slippery through walking. It is better to stay on the ship to view the scenes. Tip: You may avoid visiting Alaska in September due to a bad whether, or you can't see any glaciers during the 7-day cruise, e.g., the captain decided to forgo the scenary route due to a bad whether, which resulted most cruisers not see any glaciers during the entire cruise period.

Let's start with the cab. After a difficult time trying to communicate with the driver to even locate her, turned out she was at a different port stop! When we finally were able to locate the driver, I should have cancelled immediately but felt the other 5 passengers needed me for the rate advertised. $420 for 6 passengers. The driver was a heavy smoker! The cab was dirty and stunk badly! We head out, and I'm sitting in the front seat. After an hour driving I finally ask "are we going to stop and see stuff or just drive around". She looked at me like a deer in the headlights!! She asked me, "what do you want to see?" "Hello!! Tourist here! You were supposed to show us around Ketchikan!" She turns around and asks the other 5 passengers did they want to stop any place in particular??? Hello! We've never been here! After two more hours of driving and not seeing anything I asked to go back to the ship. She drives me there, and I hand her $70, my share of the $420 for 6. She counts the money and says to me, you owe me $150!!!! Excuse me! I say to her, "$420 was the reserved rate. You are lucky I'm paying you at all. And don't even think of a tip from me, because this was not as advertised nor a tour of anything!" I got out of the cab and have no idea what the others paid. Don't care. I actually went to my cabin on the ship and took a shower. The smoke smell permeated my clothes and hair. Gag me!!! No, I would not recommend this company.
