It is a fascinating collection of all types of toys from mechanical to computerized and even as pictured, really amazing wood puzzles. You could sort of think of one of those nature stores in a mall mashed up with Santa's toy shop. Although it's not Christmas toys, it's just here's a lot of handmade stuff as well. I forget what I bought there but I did buy something.... Oh yes they had even the little license plates with names on it and I got one for my grown daughter to put on her bike... That said Montana since she is a new resident. I couldn't tell if the gal behind the counter was simply a clerk, the manager, or the owner. She didn't hover, she didn't care how long I looked or what I looked at, but she was very helpful and made it clear that she was there to assist. I heard her take phone calls helping people figure out if she had what they might be looking for. And I would say there is a toy for every budget so definitely a place to go if you're looking for something unique as a souvenir to take back home as a gift.

I confirmed this on a third telephone call, telling them that I was an hour away by car. Once again, they told me to bring my weapons into the shop for inspection and potential purchase. I then drove to Livingston, left all weapons with them, had a discussion about pricing, received a receipt allowing them 60 days for inspection, and drove home. Upon arriving home, I received a call in which their sales representative apologized for a "misunderstanding, in that they are not interested in WW II firearms." They could have said this at the beginning instead of misleading me.

I never did get around to the books, it was all the other goodies! Bought a fountain pen and two replacement water color brushes (replacing the two our dog ate). Who ever orders the books does a great job of curation. And one of the woman that worked there and I had a great time chatting since we'd both been cartographers in our early lives, both had used hand cranked cash registers and had both lived in the Denver area, a few years even at the same time! Too bad it is a 1200 mile round trip! Next summer...
