Another amazing job event by Yelp OC!!! These dinner parties are curated so well and orchestrated perfectly. I think Haley is getting way too good at it!!! Restaurant looks over a panoramic view of Orange County. It's so beautiful at night time to see the views. The organizer, the servers, and everyone who were hosting were amazing as well. I wil definitely go back here to try their menu :) Thanks everyone!!

To say I am impressed is an understatement. This was my first event as a yelp elite and WOW. We will start off with the entrance, orange hill restaurant is located on a hill and you have to drive up a windy private road to get there, it wasn't too bad. However, the windy road was well worth the event! The parking required valet, which was not a problem since the parking lot was smaller than anticipated. Second, the staff Anthony, Alex, and Carrie were AMAZING! Anthony and Alex were quick to tend to all of our needs, taking plates, bringing food, filling waters, etc. Carrie was AWESOME, her personality really lit up the room. Additionally, she took me on a quick walk to explore options for a wedding venue. Third, the appetizers...WOW! We were served all food family style which was a great experience to be able to try everything. We started off with Brussel sprouts, a Caesar salad, and a charcuterie board (not pictured). The Brussel sprouts and Caesar salad were amazing, they consisted of a gourmet flavor. One thing I enjoyed about the Caesar salad was the perfect amount of dressing for plenty of flavor, but not too much. The charcuterie board consisted of several meats, cheeses, candied walnuts, apple, dried apricots, and a bread. My only wish was that there were more bread/cracker options, but besides that I was impressed. Third, the mea was delicious! We were served sea bass with rice and broccolini. I had never had sea bass before, but enjoyed the flavor and the texture. The second entree was a squid ink bucatini with shrimp. The amount of flavor in the bucatini was impressive. The final entree was the braised short ribs which were by far my favorite. Fourth, the dessert was a tower consisting of plenty of options. The tower was brought out with a sparkler and had many options to choose from including: house made passion fruit marshmallows and brownies, cake, macarons, eclairs, whipped cream, and crème brûlée. My first event as a yelp elite did not disappoint, I can't wait to join in on more events.

It doesn't matter how many times I've been to Orange Hill; I'm always mesmerized with the views and impressed with the service and cuisine. Thanks Hayley and team for a great event. Appreciated the opportunity to spend some time with other Elites during an outdoor dining experience. Met some new people and had some great conversations. To top it off, the weather was perfect! All the food was really good; the brussels were amazing. Their version of the watermelon margarita was very tasty. Loved hearing the background on Orange Hill (Specialty Restaurant Corporation) and their other locations. I've lived in Pensacola and Columbus and have been to The Hideaway in Pensacola. I'm all about the views, so will explore some of their other SoCal locations.

To say this was an amazing event is an understatement. Hands down one of the best Yelp experiences! Thank you Haley, Ari, Dia and the Orange Hill staff! Upon arrival, I was so amazed with the set up and plating! We were seated in the patio area where they actually host their weddings and the view was phenomenal. This event was timed with the sunset so it was a cherry on top!! We got to experience a full course meal starting with the brussel sprouts, Caesar salad, and charcuterie. I loved the variety of the charcuterie with the different cheese and meats. The Brussels sprouts were glazed with so much flavor and topped with coconut strips. Definitely my favorite. The Caesar salad tasted nice and fresh. For the main dishes, we got to try the squid ink bucatini, miso-glazed sea bass, and the braised short ribs. The squid ink was packed with shrimp on top. Unfortunately I didn't get to try the shrimp or the sea bass as I'm mildly allergic, but I sneak a few bites of the squid ink bucatini which had a nice flavor. The braised short ribs were my favorite since it was so soft and just melt in my mouth! It also came with mashed potatoes and broccolini which paired well. To conclude this experience, we got a dessert tower! The presentation was amazing and even had a sparkler on top. There were macarons, ice cream, chocolate lava cake, creme brule, and so much more. I loved getting to meet fellow yelpers and share our love for food together! This was definitely an unforgettable experience.

Such an awesome and wonderful time overlooking the gorgeous OC nightscape atop Orange Hill. Kudos to Yelp OC team (Hayley - our fearless CM, Ari - her wonderful intern, and Clinton - the awesome camera-pro), as well as the Orange Hill event team (Kerri, Alex, and Anthony) for hosting our group for this dinner party. It's always fun to attend these Yelp Elite events - I'm always looking forward to meeting new and old faces. Shout outs to my tablemates - Trinh, Fuyme, Long, Holly, Emily, Marie, and Kevin - for sharing in the treats throughout the evening and creating the experience. Kudos to Holly for looking out for me and Trinh, since we were at the end - and would've otherwise missed a few samplers. The environment was perfect! I actually prefer these intimate settings - smaller crowd - vs. the more wild parties/free-for-all type events that have been hosted throughout the years. It really gives you a chance to get to know your fellow Yelpers/tablemates. The food - the food was awesome, as one might imagine from a Yelp Elite event hosted at Orange Hill - one of OC's most well-known, intimate spot in the area. We were spoiled with appetizers - Crispy Brussels Sprouts & Caesar Salad. The brussels sprouts were great - with a thai chili glaze and coconut. An elaborate Charcuterie board followed - accompanied with a variety of cheeses and meats. Entrees for the evening were the Zinfandel Braised Short Rib, Squid Ink Bucatini, and the Miso-Marinated Chilean Sea Bass - which I believe was also my personal favorite, as well as my side of the tea. The Sea Bass literally melted in your mouth - it was amazing. The Short Rib was a close second, while the Squid Ink Bucatini sorta reminded me of udon noodles. There was a good ratio of shrimp/lobster to pasta. Finally, dessert was this stunningly gorgeous, multi-tier dessert tower featuring everything from ice cream (that melted under the high 90 degree weather), cream puffs, eclairs, passion fruit marshmallows, among other treats - all that according to Kerri, the manager - were made in-house. All in all, an awesome event! Alex and Anthony kept the drinks flowing (Diet Coke for me), while Hayley, Ari and Clinton worked their way throughout the grounds, checking in and ensuring we were having a great time. Thanks to all for a wonderful evening! On another note - scary drive up the hill! Luckily, I came early enough to be able to take the whole road on the drive up. Sorry to the two trailing cars for my turtle crawl up the hill. Turned out the red car trailing me was none other than our fearless CM, Hayley lol. SYOY!

Better late than never! Wow--what an absolutely stunning Yelp Elite event! From the gorgeous tablescape to the panoramic views, every detail felt so thoughtfully curated. The good vibes were so high and the family-style dining made it feel extra special! Not to mention, having it at the famous Orange Hill made it even more memorable. I've been here a few times for multiple occasions, and just like this experience -- it never disappoints! The food was amazing, with dish after dish delivering on both flavor and presentation. I especially loved how the shared plates sparked conversation and connection; it felt like gathering around a table with old friends. I met such an inviting community of people and it was the best time bonding over delicious bites and great energy. The brussels sprouts were my personal favorite dish, I loved how flavorful and perfectly charred they were! The braised short rib was 100% another favorite of mine -- the meat was sooo tender and the fact that it was sitting on a bed of mashed potatoes -- it was everything I needed and more LOL. And the dessert tower... Not only was it show-stopping visually, but each single sweet treat tasted just as incredible as it looked. I loved the moment where the staff brought out the towers at the same time and lit up the sparklers on top, it was so fun and exciting to watch! This was easily one of the best Yelp Elite events I've attended. I left with a full heart (and an even fuller stomach!). Huge thank you to the Yelp team for creating such a memorable night!

Such a fun dinner party! Everyone was dressed up nicely and looked so good! The food was even better! It was so fun meeting other Yelpers that have similar interest in food just like I do! Everyone knew the camera eats before you do! My table was so outgoing and was willing to share so many stories about themselves. Huge shout out to Hayley and Ari for inviting me and setting up this event! The staff were attentive and amazing! Spreading happiness was definitely done last night! I haven't been to this restaurant since 2017 and it felt nostalgic being back. Never tried these items from the menu before and they all tasted amazing! The view on the patio is one-of-a-kind and I'll never forget about it. My favorite dish had to be the Brussel sprouts! They had such a flavorful sauce on them and they were cooked to perfection! The entrees had a perfect mixture of seafood and beef items! The short-rib was the most memorable to me, the meat was delicate, tender, and so delicious. The squid ink pasta was delicious, it was my first time ever trying squid ink pasta and the amount of shrimp and lobster on there was mind-blowing! Miso glazed sea bass was cooked perfectly, never tried the black rice underneath it before but it was the perfect texture to balance out such a soft fish. The desert tower was a bit overwhelming, but I love how they offer a little bit of everything to try. I loved the key-lime pie and the caramel lava cake!

This my first Yelp Dinner party and it did not disappoint. Amidst the backdrop of a gorgeous sunset we got to experience some wonderful dishes, served by the friendly staff. This would be a wonderful place to host a wedding reception or party for a special occasion. And I had a great time getting to know my fellow Yelpers, Kevin, Holly, Emily, Claudia, Long and Fuyme. Thank you Hayley and Ari for hosting this event!

I've been to Orange Hill Restaurant hundreds of times over the years, but this was my first time attending as a guest of Yelp -- and it truly felt like a brand-new experience. From the moment I walked in, the seating area set the perfect tone with its inviting atmosphere. The views are always stunning, but paired with the thoughtful setup for this event, it made the evening feel extra special. The sampling of food was, as always, fantastic. Orange Hill never disappoints with their flavors, and this event really highlighted the variety and quality they're known for. A very special thank you to Hayley and her team for putting this together and for the gracious invitation. Their effort and attention to detail made the evening smooth, welcoming, and memorable. I've always loved Orange Hill, but experiencing it through this event gave me even more appreciation for what makes it such a gem.

Thank you to Hayley, Ari, and everyone at Orange Hill for such a well planned and beautiful dinner party! It was my first ever Yelp Elite invite. I had tons of fun, ate delicious food, and enjoyed great company Parking: The valet attendee had mentioned that they weren't briefed about free parking and weren't compensated for it so they still requested payment even though it was noted that valet would be included. Valet parking was $9 if you paid with cash and $9.50 if you paid with card. The view on both the drive up and drive down was incredible-- the drive can be a little bit intimidating but very nice if you go slowly haha Service: Anthony and Alex were really great. They were very kind and attentive. Truly provided exceptional service Ambiance: The view from that specific part of the restaurant was incredible! The sunset was amazing. The outdoor patio overlooking the city of Orange was truly so romantic and intimate, the perfect setting for this intimate dinner party. The weather was really nice! I could definitely see myself returning to Orange Hill for a special occasion meal. Also, the table setting was soooo cute! I loved the pink table setting, florals, name cards, and everything! Truly obsessed with the spread Food: Brussel Sprouts- definitely my favorite of the small bites, packed with flavor and cooked to perfection!! Charcuterie Board- loved the variety of meats and cheeses that they had. I also really enjoyed their addition of dried fruit + candied pecans, complemented the board well Miso-Marinated Sea Bass- miso marinade was yummy and the sea bass tasted fresh. I really enjoyed it! Squid Ink Bucatini- the shrimp on top of it was sautéed very well, packed with flavor. The squid ink bucatini itself was a bit underwhelming, didn't have much flavor for me. It was super al dente though (that's a plus for me!). Probably still my least favorite dish/item of the night Braised Short Rib: the short rib was sooo tender and well-flavored. I really enjoyed it with the creamy mashed potatoes. My one remark about the food altogether is I was lowkey broccolini'd out by the time we got to this dish since the seabass was also loaded with broccolini (but this is a personal preference), so I would've probably paired it with a different roasted vegetable Showstopper Dessert Tower: an assortment of so many diff desserts! I had a bite of a few things (cake, cream puff, lava cafe, etc) and it was yummy! The perfect bite size sweet treats for a sweet toother like myself! Presented very well, it did have tons of whipped cream which probably acted more as decoration. Overall it was such a fun first dinner party! Such a unique event with a fun crowd. I look forward to more opportunities to get together again! Side note: I did notice that there were lots of bugs and insects on and near the food, but it could be because we were seated outdoors during sunset. One of my fellow neighbors found a bug/leaf in her drink twice (two diff cups) and my other neighbor found a mini worm-like insect on the pickle on the charcuterie board. I'm not really sure how that would've been prevented since it was an outdoor experience, but just a note

Honest review. Pretty scenic drive going to and from the place. Granted that it's only Valet parking, I get it. The place was packed on a Tuesday. Pretty surprising to be honest. Most places won't be. Arrived a little past the call time and was escorted to a seat. Being as this is my first event with yelp, I met fellow foodies that were welcoming. Interesting as you get to meet people from different backgrounds but all are into food. Everyone knows the cardinal rule: shoot first, eat later. The location of the event was perfect. Overlooking OC was both romantic and lovely. The sunset was just great and a nice way to start the meal. A cocktail was served and it was both sweet and cold. I believe tequila was mixed in the drink. Perfect for the weather. After a little bit of intro, food started to pop out. For starters, the brussels sprouts were pretty good. The balsamic glaze worked well with the vegetable. The ceasar salad was fresh but it lacked a wow factor. Common. Speaking of wow factor, the charcuterie board was something my seat mates raved about. They loved the different type of cheese. This would basically be perfect for a sunset drinking session. The lag between the appetizer and the mains was noticeable but was perfectly fine as the next few dishes rolled out. The miso marinated sea bass had the perfect mouthfeel. The texture was there and being served with the black mountain rice made it a must try. Granted the rice was little on the sweet side, it was okay. The squid ink bucatini definitely had the oomph one wants. The huge shrimp and other seafood definitely made the dish enjoyable. The squid ink pasta was chewy and works well with the seafood. I would have wished to taste more of the squid ink in the pasta though. I wonder if the pasta was prepared in-house. A Not so hot take would be that the braised short ribs were amazing. The meat was cooked perfectly. The strands of beef didn't disintegrate but it was so easy to bite into. Chewing it was like putting clouds into your mouth. Flavor wise, it was just perfect. Others weren't into it, but I appreciate the cooking techniques used. The dessert tower was a mix of everything sweet. From brownies, to small cakes, and even ice cream. It was the perfect way to end the meal. The staff from Orange hill were all spectacular. They anticipated all our needs and I appreciate them. I'm thankful for the host, Kerry (i hope I got the right spelling) as well for letting me see the other side of the event space. Thanks a bunch to Hayley and Ari and to everyone from Yelp. It was a pleasure to meet you guys. Maybe, to elevate the experience more, it would have been nice if each dish were explained before being brought out. Also, more candles to ward off the insects flying around.

First time yelp event at a dinner party Traveling up a hill and what a picturesque day, clear sky to see the views Valet parking only and a reason to get dressed up :) Seated outside patio between what is known as the marriage columns - apparently many proposals happen there Hayley Ari really provided an exceptional experience from their engagement ensuring everyone enjoyment and creating an environment where strangers can gather over delicious tasty goodies Carrie anthony alex really provided amazing service through dinner and ensure everything was up to par and some without having to reach out Views were spectacular Tasty hearty food to showcase various techniques and bond over plating photos and flavor Amazing menu offerings!! Charred Brussels sprouts with that crunch and glaze :) and Cesar housemade croutons and romaine that was not soggy from being overdressed Charcuterie board on the repurposed wooden plank and the design and knife work, the fresh honey comb paired with the cheese and dried fruit, meats to add some saltiness Miso butter sea bass over broccolini Seafood with squidink bucatini Short rib over broccolini and velvety mash potato And the take me away seafood tower And opportunities to take home leftovers .. waah! Thank you Hayley and Ari for hosting and for being able to provide this unique dining experience, super grateful indeed! Looking forward to future festivities to gather and find more hidden gems!

This Yelp Dinner Party was top notch- from the food menu, to service, to the epic hilltop views, to CM Hayley's hospitality, to Clinton the cool photo guy, to eating with and meeting new Yelp pals. This was my first in-person Yelp event in a very long time and my first one since moving to OC, but I'm thankful to have joined since it was an excellent one. The food options were tasty- especially the perfectly cooked short rib dish and the squid ink bucatini (with excellent chewy noodles). The mixed drink was a banger too. Throw in some Yelp swag and what's not to love?! All in all, the communal eating was fun and the service great- gracias a Yelp for such a fun evening!

The Bunz and I went on a lunch date here for his first visit to Ini, my second. I made a reservation on Open Table and when arrived we were warmly greeted. Loved the natural lighting in the restaurant and the wood decor. Very modern, clean and comfortable. We had an pleasant experience and so glad we came during the Happy Hour times - less hectic and loud. Our server, Jennifer was personable and courteous. All the staff were very professional and attentive. I appreciated they sat us at a booth seating for 4 vs a table for 2 (otherwise all our orders wouldn't' have fit on there) We absolutely enjoyed the Spicy Miso Carbonara + the Yuzu Peach Refresher. The udon was chewy, sauce was savory but the pasta was spicier than I had expected. This pasta dish is a little heavy - so I say it's best to share. I do wish they had given a bit more protein though. But overall a dish worth trying. The Yuzu refresher was a nice surprise - very palatable. We also ordered the Beef Carpaccio, HH - Pepperoni Pizza and HH - Veal Bolognese. The happy prices on those were so worth getting! As for the pizza - the flavors were on point and well balanced but could use a bit more pepperoni. The Veal Bolognese was scrumptious that we ordered another! Don't under estimate the portion - they didn't skimp at all! The Beef Carpaccio was a light and nice appetizer to kick start the meal. We definitely would be back to visit again :)

The staff was incredibly attentive and knowledgeable, making us feel welcome. Anthony, our server was super helpful throughout our meal as well as the team members who helped bring out the dishes. As part of the event, we were treated to the complimentary Spicy Miso Carbonara and Yuzu Refresher. The carbonara was amazing. The udon pasta with a spicy creamy, eggy sauce was perfectly balanced with mushroom umami flavors. The spice level was just right, (but they offered chili flakes and chili oil for those who like it super spicy!) The fusion of Italian and Asian cuisines that I never knew I needed!! We also went a little crazy and ordered three other entrees: seafood poke pizza (sounds wild but the fusion was unexpectedly satisfying..) and seafood mafaldine (so much crab meat and seafood!) and the burrata caprese. Everything on their menu looks delicious and we will be back to try them. If you're a pasta lover (good food lover, in general) INI is an absolute must-try. The quality of the food, combined with the excellent service, makes it a standout dining experience. **A big plus was that the dishes were made fresh, allowing most to be modified. For pescatarians, sausage and bacon could be easily removed from some pasta dishes. Truly grateful! Thanks Yelp + Haley!!

The plus side this time around is that they have a completely covered area to eat your food. Picnic benches are laid out with a full awning. Parking is still great. Services dependent on what vendor you buy your food from some will accommodate the request and others will not. Of course if there's no accommodation to the customer, they've lost my business.

[Parking]: $15 per vehicle for on-site parking just to enter the OC Fair & Event Center. [Admission]: Our party purchased the same-day tickets and paid a $16 per person entry fee. [What to expect]: The market was approximately half food vendors and half arts / crafts / gift vendors. There were solid craft and gift vendors, but not too many art vendors. The food was extremely overpriced ... a simple appetizer = at least $15+ & a filling meal = at least $25. The only real positive? There was a mahjong area that offered free lessons. The performance stage was alright. [Food]: Our party ended up getting only 6 pieces of soup dumplings (aka XLB) from Dumpling Dream for $14 and a cup of gelatea from Boutcha for $7.20 (one of the most affordable and best item to get at the market). [Conclusion]: If I ever come back to 626 Night Market, I would probably stick with the Arcadia location as parking is free and the admission fee is slightly cheaper. I am still having a hard time digesting the fact that getting into the market cost $30+ before even buying any food if I come here alone and I would also need to spend another $25+ just to feel like I had eaten a legit meal. I am good with this one-and-done visit.

This year, $5 from every ticket sale went to the Anaheim White House Restoration Fund. However, with fundraisers such as this, hopefully the Anaheim White House will rise like the proverbial phoenix, from the ashes. I'm glad I got to the TOA early, because it quickly became claustrophobic/agoraphobic crowded, especially on the second level. We eventually found it and entered the VIP line which moved quite fast. There were a good amount of vendors with a variety of food to sample. A few vendors included a few taco trucks. After trying a few savory bites and sweet treats we concluded our favorite vendor was Gus Fried Chicken. The wait was about 10 minutes, but it was worth it. The chicken was perfectly fried and seasoned. The extreme heat of the chicken complimented the cold raindrops slowly landing on us as it was about to rain. The event and live entertainment continued despite the drastic change in the weather. We mostly spent much of our time under the VIP tent due to the rain, but enjoyed mingling with the other guests trying to stay dry, and continued listening to the live band while trying some bites located within the VIP tent. An open bar was also included for anyone attending as a VIP. The drinks were great and crafted pretty well by a small staff of bartenders working endlessly due to the rain. Thanks to the bartenders for keeping the vibe strong. We enjoyed our time at this year's event. Hopefully next time it won't be raining, but that didn't stop the Taste of Santa Ana event from being a success.
