With a lemonade and Kirin beer, the bill came to $66.00, taken with a mild apology from the owners. I'm giving one star for location and atmosphere (quiet & close semblance of a restaurant we visited whilst in Osaka) and one star for the actual arrival of hot, reasonably decent "Japanese" cuisine.

You wanted to go out and have a dinner to relaxed and be serve and not worry of anything but this restaurant is very horrendous, making dinner very laborious where they wanted you to write down all the details from their menu the item number ( which is several numbers), quantity and the description of the food. When they sat us down, we aren't even informed that we have to do it, they wanted us to figure out what are those small piece of papers on the tables are for. We are not aware and we have wasted lots of time, when we are ready to order, this waitress Tina, is very unpleasant and unfriendly and have the worst customer service ever, told us off that that's how they do things. We left and vowed never to go back on that place. That thing writing your order only serves those absolutely LAZY waitress. Worst customer service and HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED! BAD FOOD AND BAD SERVICE

Food is now of quality. The yum cha dim sums are now wheeled around and also avail. at the back. The duck is crispy and flavoursome. Same with the roast pork. Food is not cold and plentiful. Not like the old days. The custard egg tarts and especially the durian puffs!! worth a return visit. 3 stars as I'm still skeptical.. if it's the same management don't expect this to continue!

If you love Asian food (and lots of it), then this is your perfect place…read more Located on the corner of Springvale Rd and Burwood Hwy this place is extremely accessible and easy to find (thanks to being on top of a hill and it's huge sign). China Bar Signature is a buffet of Asian cuisines. They have towers of Yum Cha style dumplings, soups, rice, sushi, seafood, traditional meat dishes, duck, Asian flavored ice creams/desserts and much much more. There is freshly cooked food constantly pouring out of the kitchen and into the serving trays as this place becomes over popular and busy at night. The Yum Cha dumplings are always a hit and people can be seen walking back to their tables with 5 or so bamboo steamers stacked up. Don't worry; the kitchen works hard so if they are out of something, it'll probably be back within a few minuets. The food here is tasty and satisfying, but like most buffets the quality isn't the best out there. I definitely would still suggest coming here at least once- just to try it out. The atmosphere is very lively and loud thanks to the hoards people. When I came I found the table service to be very quick...but too quick, they were trying to take away my plate before I had even finished it (this happened a few times). The only other downfall is the size of the plates. They were saucers rather than plates; you could hardly fit food on it, which meant multiple trips to the stations. The prices here are around $50ish at night, and only $30 for lunch (but seafood, sashimi and peking duck are only available for dinner).

In…read moreprevious years, I was fond of sushi sushi, for some reasons the sushi and probably the location had this very fresh, nice aromatic smell; one that quiet soothing. Back then I throughly enjoyed eating there. Today that smell of the seaweed is no more. But regardless their slogan: 'Years to master, seconds to devour' truly stands strong. We succumb to resist this beautiful sushi. One that is extreme delicate and rich in flavour. The sushi here is always very clean, properly constructed and cooked. It has a spectacular consistency. The sushi has never been dry or crusty. Or it has never been soggy and sloppy. It has always been perfect, it stands alone against all other companies. Whilst however, the price has increased dramatically due to inflation, this does not single out this branch. As all other sushi companies try to relatively sell at this point. These circumstances overlap their prices. Furthermore, sushi has kind staff, a very bright and attractive store and brand. I enjoy the tuna avocado, salmon avocado, chicken teriyaki and various others. Their alternatives of sushi are also quite excellent, at a reasonable price. The sashimi taste fresh and elegant. In my opinion, this is the best sushi brand in Australia. It definitely beats out the other competitors, it's the most delicious and oldest. The first pioneers of such great good, quality food.
