In my opinion, it is the best gym around and it is truly a lifestyle beyond anything. The Escape is the perfect place to do exactly that. The bartenders admittedly spike the drinks with extra alcohol, and God knows what else ;)

Although I…read morehad been inside the facility several times over the years, I had never seen the new outdoor pools and water park theme up close. Have to say that while it appears to be an amusement park from beyond the fence with massive water slides and multiple aquamarine pools for various uses; from within it makes more sense and is actually quite attractive in a hyperactive way. Happy Hour with half price drinks was a good deal, and the bar food offerings were also well designed to complement the alcoholic drinks, if not all that tasty, nor compelling in their own right. So many people in a relatively small space around the bar, that conversation was a bit challenging. Plenty of alternative distractions among the many "beautiful" folks who enjoy being the center of attention, and know how to do it right, especially when encouraged with beverage. With music playing in the background the experience was a mixed bag. Clearly, the plan is a bit over the top, and made for people with kids or those who like this glitterati experience. Yet, there was a full house that evening, and business was booming. Covid put an end to the crowds for the last year, but I suspect the club will be back in action full tilt come vaccinations and reduced mask wearing. I'm the more cautious type, and will wait a while before accepting my next invitation.

I joined Life Time Bridgewater as a premium member, paying nearly $300 per month. As a former…read moretennis player, I was excited to learn pickleball since it is the primary racquet sport offered at this location. Unfortunately, my experience with the pickleball program has been extremely disappointing. While the facility itself is beautiful, the culture on the pickleball courts is the opposite of what I expected from a premium club. The staff came across as gatekeepers rather than customer service professionals. Instead of making members feel welcome, I often felt as though they were deciding whether I was "allowed" to play. As a paying premium member, I should not feel like participation is a privilege granted by staff. The skill assessment process is another major concern. Members are required to pay for an assessment to access different levels of play, yet there is little transparency about how ratings are determined. In my experience, the results did not reflect actual on-court performance, and there was no meaningful explanation of the evaluation criteria. A player can compete successfully against intermediate-level players and still be placed in the beginner category without a clear explanation. A transparent, objective rating system would be much fairer. Reservations can also be canceled without meaningful notice or explanation, making it difficult for members to plan their schedules. After speaking with other members, I found that several expressed similar frustrations about the management of the pickleball program. People join Life Time because it is a premium club, and the membership fees reflect that. Members deserve professionalism, respect, transparency, and consistent customer service. The facilities are outstanding, but the management and customer experience of the Bridgewater pickleball program fell far short of the standards I expected.

In particular, Jill , who teaches the children's ballet program is absolutely outstanding. Her ability to provide a fun atmosphere where children actually LEARN is truly exceptional. The family programs, run by John Rice are also FANTASTIC. There is such an attention to detail that is just SO appreciated by parents of young children. Finally, the fitness professionals are unparalleled. I look forward to classes every week and have never been left disappointed from taking a class with a different instructor.

I have always had a pleasant experience here and found the staff friendly. The fitness equipment has recently had improvements including treadmills that each have their own touch screen TV system and smart phone compatibility for listening to music and using apps. They have a varied array of classes available for both children and adults. I have had all three of my children in the swim program and every time was very pleased with the instructor. The classes are never to large. Something that seems to be completely unique to the YMCA is their financial assistance. I have never found another gym that has this option. Based off of your income you will receive a discount off of monthly membership and classes. If it were not for this generosity none of my children would have been able to enjoy the benefits of the YMCA. I have never felt uncomfortable working out or even using the pool when I was pregnant. I could never comfortably walk into health quest 8 months pregnant, like I did here.
