Must dodge unruly kids in the therapy pool, when you complain to the lifeguards, they are unresponsive.

Traverse city has a dearth of indoor tennis courts, so if you want to play in the winter, this is one of the two places you can go. The courts themselves are not well maintained. There are three courts. My main issue was the staff. I understand they need to train new staff, but the amount of time it took to get the paperwork/payment in order, I had already lost at least 15-20 minutes of court time. To make things worse, they tried to charge us for that extra time. Court time is very expensive as well. The equipment in the gym looked a bit old and worn. So in general, this is not where I would go. However, there will be a new location soon, so we'll see how that goes. read more

I used to be a member at the ymca a few years ago. I had my fourth brain injury. My left eye was not working right and I was knocked down by running kids in locker room.I now have glasses for now. The employees , I assume because it's a small town working at that time,, started spreading rumors about me. I always loved to workout . For three years I stopped .I always worked out my whole life. They workers called me too friendly. A few women who went there started maliacous rumors . I prayed alout . Some are my neighbors where I live. One of these females has been stalking me . It's a older woma. My lawyer said there's not alout I can do for rude and a stalker. Unless I am injured . One of the people who worked there and his sister started making fun of me on the elliptical calling me homeless and dressed weird . Needless to say I stopped leaving my house . My family got me a emotional support dog . I vowed 2021 to finally speak my truth . Please pray they stop hurting people and become better role models.One even retired to hit me One of the employees works with a youth group and tells people to keep their families away from me. The pain and agony they put me through One of the employees a females , called me names in front of my grandson. Wow ! It's sad because all these people are going to college n work with the public . These people were sent here to cause pain to others not to help . They do good dead's to make their ego happy . While they tear apart a disabled woman . I had met a man here and he was a predictor . Yet these emeoleys and friends assumed I was a drug addict and alcoholic . They assumed this . Sent me harassing messages on Facebook and I had to get a secure system and change my number . One of your employees , was very nice . She listened to me cry and told me not to give in . I thank God for her I tried to smile and be nice to everyone there my old gym in Florida everyone was nice I grew up there . Today I started to get upset with the main woman showing someone what this woman has done to my life and she couldn't even look at me as she walked away I stood there crying and my neighbors came up to me and they said we love you don't ever give up and listen to people like that. You would be surprised many of these people work with a local church here in my prayer is is that they keep doing a good job and ask God to forgive them because we're all trying to get to heaven and that's what love does read more

Wish I could give negative stars. Constantly being mislead from staff who don't know general scheduling and operations of this location. We had a group of people trying to go play basketball, I know there is another location but it's always packed and is double the price to walk in and play. Called the Y multiple times through the day to make sure the courts weren't reserved for any reason. Was mislead by the same staff member each time. Went up there and couldn't play. This is not the first time this exact incident has occurred. It's a joke. Get on the same page. read more

They never update the swim schedule, it will say 3+ lanes open and when you get there only one is available. I have asked them multiple times and they keep saying they will fix it and never do. I drive from a half hour away so it gets frustrating!!! read more
