You know, when the only semi acceptable palatable form of dining experience in "La France" in the terminal past security is sushi, just that alone tells you something. The rest of the food in the terminal area, save for one place that sells quiches, some soups and pies, are cold sandwiches and salads with a variety worse than a neighborhood 7 Eleven in some small US town. But let's come back to this Sushi. What you are getting is not just tiny and overpriced. It is also worse in taste and quality than an average supermarket sushi. The sushi and sashimi you can get at Safeway in California, would be like Michelin grade restaurant compared to this thing. On 23-December-2025 my son and I suffered a truly awful experience at the Yo! restaurant at Terminal 2E Gate 48, an experience that was both expensive and unpalatable. To be precise, I purchased at two sushi offerings, the Spicy Salmon (€9.80) and the Plateau Pargager (€22.85), the latter of which was impossible to eat as the rice was frozen! To use the words of my son, it was "like biting into a small cold brick". I wrote an email to the Yo! through their website, and to their credit I quickly received a response, which, while useless ("We have forwarded over your complaint onto our international correspondent to look into. Unfortunately, there may be a wait in receiving a response as they are unavailable for the festive season."), was nice to receive. I followed up that email two weeks later, and once again I received a very fast response that thanked me for my diligence and which assured me that the "international correspondent" would be in touch. Sadly, though, this too proved to be useless, as nearly three weeks have passed and the "international correspondent" remains silent. C'est la vie. Short of any fair and balanced resolution by Yo!, all I am can do is warn any future customers who may opt to do a little research before deciding where to put down their money at CDG. read more

Just a place for quick pickup sushi to hold you over between layovers. Casual dining, not fancy. During busyness of flight departures, seats may seem tough to come by. Sushi is already prepared, everything is self serve. I also picked up the curry chicken katsu, it was ok :) rice tasted like sushi rice texture, I didn't love it. With katsu I prefer jasmine or short grain calrose rice. read more

Well if you don't want to die of heat before getting to your gate I suggest you stop off here as there's no where to eat in the ac. So you take a seat on the benches and click the help button after you've gone through the menu. Stuff is okay priced if you take appetizers. I had the shrimp and two dumplings one chicken one vegetable and an orangina and it was €19. The guy messed up my order but they didn't charge me even tho I took a bite of the rice thinking it came with my 3 shrimp appetizer. Service is not the fastest but the tall thin white waiter I had was a really nice guy and we had a few laughs because they didn't have any 7up left so he suggested orangina which is not even close lol. Really rude people. Wanted to order just a cup or ice and pay the price of a regular drink and they refuse right away very rudely. And we had a medical emergency. Really bad people work here and extremely unconscious to others. The food looks like it taste like rubber too. Stay away save your money and just eat the rubber from the bathroom. Had to drop it to two stars since they seated me immediately, which I appreciated, at a spot that still needed to cleaned up, which I didn't appreciate. While they had a number of folks there, it seemed like the chef, who was Asian, was doing all the work while the other two just chatted. Eventually, one of them came to clean up the dishes. I think this is the only "full service" restaurant in this terminal. I was looking for a light breakfast and they had it here. I asked the staff how this contraption works and they pointed to the conveyor belt and said pick what you want. We waited for a bit and then a croissant and chocolate croissant came by and we grabbed both. A server also gave us a menu while we were waiting and we ordered an espresso and a cafe latte. All of this was under 10 euro and it was very good especially the coffees. Staff was friendly and helpful. Sushi was being made as we ate breakfast but we did not try any. read more

It looked interesting and not busy so we decided to give it a go. That was before we saw the reviews and rating on Yelp! Otherwise we might not have. We were seated right away. Pressed the help button and they came and took our order. Not many words were exchanged but we weren't exactly expecting a conversation to happen. I got the chicken chahan and my husband the Yakisoba, then we split the street food (which was spicy as hell.) My husband enjoyed his meal, I did as well, though it wasn't really filling. So I had two California rolls on top of that. Would we eat here again? Yeah, upbeat atmosphere with fun music. The food was good. This was terrible. There aren't a ton of food options in this terminal, and when you're tired and looking at an international flight and plane food it can seem rough to keep looking around for other options, but please do. At least when I went there, the servers basically ignore you so it's really hard to get beverages or even to pay. We didn't have menus when we arrived so while I get the overall concept of conveyor sushi, I didn't know the prices that would inform what all I ate and had to beg for service. Even when I walked over to where the servers were congregated they still ignored me. I didn't personally get sick from the food, but my husband had stomach cramps he blamed on it. Like, if the food were good but the service was slow I would be okay. Similarly, if the food was as meh as it was but the service was amazing, I would also be okay. But to have terrible and slow service and questionable fish combined when you're traveling and in a hurry is just unacceptable. I wish we had left after it was so hard to even get a menu. read more

My family and I came hoping to get a decent lunch, but it ended up being a huge disappointment. In addition to the revolving sushi bar, my family ordered a lot off of the menu. Every item we tried was well below any standard. Each dish was either salty, bland, not cooked all the way, or cooked too much. Not one dish was near decent or okay tasting. I went there at 9 am and had a sad, tepid yakisoba breakfast that took 30 minutes to prepare. Avoid at all costs. I'll elaborate a bit more: I first asked the hostess if the place was open, and she said they were, but only serving from the breakfast menu. The pictures on the menu looked decent, so I thought I'd try the breakfast yakisoba. Before I proceed, it's important to note the open layout of the restaurant is a circular bar with a conveyor belt, and customers are seated on the outer circle, with complete visibility and proximity to the cooks and staff on the inside. My friend and I got seated, and we attempt to place our order with the waitress, who first had to check with one of the cooks directly in front of us if that would be possible. "I need 15-20 minutes... at least" responded one of the cooks to the waitress. That's fine, our flight isn't scheduled for a few hours anyway, so we decide to wait it out. During this time, we noticed more customers being seated, and ordering food, but all the cooks and staff seemed to prioritize preparing "to-go" portions of sushi for the lunch rush later in the day. Why not. 15 minutes later, one of the cooks grabs a bag of pre-cooked noodles, and stirs them around hot water for 10-20 seconds, then sets them aside in a metal container. More ingredients are placed in more metal containers, then put away in what I hoped was some type of oven (guy was wearing hot oven mitts). One of the cooks grabs the breakfast menu, looks at the picture of the yakisoba, and appears to be asking another cook to help him identify some of the ingredients to add to our dishes. Hmm that's odd. Maybe their first day? 10 minutes later, the ingredients are loosely combined onto plates. The cook could have given us the plates right then as we were in front of him the hole time, but instead he set them aside for another 5 minutes before the waitress noticed and served us. After the unnecessarily long wait, it was finally time to taste their masterpiece! Verdict: It was lukewarm throughout. Barely above ambient temperature... No one was taking care of us, I wonder if this is a lack of manner or simply racism??
