We placed an order with Schlabach furniture in August, 2021 with an estimated delivery date of 9 months (June 2022) and put down our 25% deposit. When we didn't hear from them by June 2022 we emailed them with no reply and tried calling them multiple times over many weeks and never received a call back. Finally in October, 2022 I drove over 2 hours each way to try to find out what was going on. There was no one there that could even find the order or tell me the status and was told Daniel would call me back that day. I never heard from Daniel. I then filed a claim with the Ohio Better Business Bureau, but since Schlabach Furniture never responded to their inquiries the claim was closed. I then filed a claim with the Ohio Attorney General's office but Schlabach Furniture never responded to their inquiries and again the claim was closed in April 2023. The only action left would be to take Schlabach Furniture to small claims court but that is not worth it since it would be more expensive to go that route than the value of the deposit.
