Yoga Central is AWESOME! From the first day April made me feel right at home even calling me by name. I have enjoyed all the instructors so far. They remind you that your time on the mat is between you and your mat. There is no pressure to keep up with anyone, we are each different, and have various strengths. You will stretch, sweat, and you will feel the difference. For months I have had serious pain in my right shoulder everyday. That pain is gone most days. Actually, I only feel it now when I miss a couple of days of yoga. Just in 2 weeks time I can do moves I couldn't when I started. The people in these classes are from all different walks of life; different shapes, sizes and age. All are welcomed! Day one I knew this was the place for me. So, if you are new to yoga or a guru, grab a mat or borrow one there and come join us. Yoga Central has been AMAZING and a place where I feel relaxed. April and the other instructors are very warm and inviting and are always encouraging. I am new to Yoga but April or the other instructors are always very patient and help me get into the poses correctly and safely. I do have an ankle issue but all the instructors are very understanding and are always telling me different things that I can do that will not hurt my ankle but allow me to achieve the same stretch as everyone else. The studio is beautiful and is very easy to get to! And even the other students are very kind and it is a fun place to go! My roommate and I enjoy every class we go to and love motivating one another to do more each class! read more

Yoga Central was my very first yoga experience. At first, I was apprehensive to go, but April made me feel right at home in her studio. She made it easy for me to feel comfortable and go at my own pace while still gently pushing my boundaries to help me learn, grow, and improve. Despite living in Atlanta, I have since revisited Yoga Central a couple more times when I find myself down in Valdosta. I've been to a couple more classes back in Atlanta at different studios, and I can say with certainty that I would never have continued to practice yoga without April's help and encouragement. I'm from NYC and was in town for a gig and the only bad thing I can say about this place is that I didn't go there sooner! What a gem in Valdosta! April taught a fantastic class that was challenging, fun, and empowering. She was super helpful, knowledgeable, and positive before, during, and after class, I literally have no complaints. I've traveled a lot for work (48 of the 50 states) and my home base is NYC, so I've been to some great yoga studios over the years. Yoga Central is definitely in my top 5, without a doubt! This is a fantastic yoga studio! As a yogi from Miami who was in town to visit family, I can honestly say I haven't taken a better class than April's Power Flow. She's the perfect mix of acknowledging your limitations and pushing you to your edge. The studio is in a beautiful space above a super cute gallery, so take some time to look around after class. Attended the 2 hour "Fundamentals of Yoga" workshop and absolutely loved it! The instructors (April and Kereese) made everyone feel so welcome and actually walked around the studio offering hands on instruction. Absolutely loved my classes with April, Erin, and Gina! Their classes worked every part of my body! The yoga classes are really helping with my stretching and balance.
