This was my first time ever trying YogaSix, and I absolutely fell in love with it. I joined the Restore class, and it was exactly what I didn't realize my body needed. As a massage therapist, my muscles get incredibly tight, and this class helped me slow down, stretch, and reconnect with my body. The instructor was fantastic and created such a peaceful, welcoming atmosphere. I felt completely relaxed from beginning to end and walked out feeling refreshed, both physically and mentally. I came because my good friend Rashaan has been telling me to check this place out, and I'm glad I finally did. The class was exactly what I needed. I'm dealing with an injury right now, so I've been looking for ways to improve my mobility and speed up recovery without beating my body up. This was the perfect balance. The heat was incredible... hot enough to get me loose, drenched in sweat, and feeling like my body could actually move again. That's exactly what I was looking for. The flow was challenging without feeling overwhelming, and I walked out feeling better than when I walked in. One thing that really stood out was the music. It was so good I actually asked Amanda for the playlist after class. It completely elevated the experience. I've done a lot of different types of training over the years, and this didn't feel gimmicky... it felt intentional. I've been a member of YogaSix since they first opened, but between a back injury and the demands of life, I wasn't able to attend consistently for quite a while. Over the past few weeks, I've made it a priority to get back into the studio, and I'm so glad I did! I've tried three different classes so far, and Slow Flow has quickly become my favorite. It's the perfect combination of movement, stretching, and mindfulness. Great Intro to Yoga ~ Clean Studio, Friendly Instructors! I discovered this studio through a Yelp event and decided to try their intro offer: 3 classes for $36 ~ a great deal! Classes I Tried: * Hot Yoga with Melodie - My favorite! Super sweaty and energizing. It felt like a great way to detox and kickstart some weight loss. * Slow Flow with Justin - Gentle and grounding, good for focus and balance. * Restore with Melodie - Relaxing and restorative, perfect for winding down. What I Loved: * The studio is clean and organized. * Props are free to use (blocks, straps, etc.) -- just rent a mat if you don't have one. * Instructors and the receptionist are friendly, welcoming, and non-judgmental. * The bathrooms are stocked and smell great (bonus points!). * They provide cold towels and water, which feels amazing after hot yoga. * Parking is easy -- plenty of spots, no stress. * Only downside: It's a bit of a drive for me, so I'll be looking for a location closer to home -- but I'd absolutely recommend this spot to anyone nearby or willing to make the trip! read more

I started visiting YogaSix Stevenson Ranch this summer first due to some free classes offered to Yelp Elite members, however I've continued to take classes even though I live over half an hour away because the classes are that amazing. The main teachers who I've taken classes with are Justin and Kiera, but I've never taken a bad class. In the past I've always hated the idea of hot yoga (and don't get me wrong, I still do), but this studio makes the experience so incredible - I feel like I've gotten a great workout while also the most relaxing stretch and cool scented towel afterwards. The community of people who take classes at YogaSix are all so welcoming and amazing - almost every class I've had someone introduce themselves to me and offer a friendly greeting. Furthermore, this studio puts on wonderful social events. Every month I look forward to book club - the only book club that I'm willing to drive more than half an hour for each month! I'm usually able to snag a class through ClassPass each month before book club, so I'm able to make a whole day out of it. I absolutely adored this location, l've been to the YogaSix in Porter Ranch and I loved it there but this location takes the cake! Justin was my instructor and wow his class completely changed my perspective on how to be more aware of my body during challenging moves in more advanced classes, successfully got me out of my head, and I feel like that's where real growth begins. YogaSix has great group workout classes! My fav is the Sculpt & Flow class with Jalin -- she will get you right!!! I've also taken the Slow Flow class with Ceci, which was an excellent class and more challenging than expected. I believe all of their classes are heated, which means you'll leave there drenched in sweat. They always have scented, cold towels ready for you to use after each class to help cool you down. The only reason why I took off a star is because I think the studio could be a bit cleaner. I'm not sure how much they clean between each class, but I think doing a thorough floor cleaning and maybe airing the room out and using some type of scented oil would be ideal. Some of the people I've been in classes with are not the most hygienic Having to workout next to musty people in a HOT room is not it sometimes. And on top of that most are barefoot, which is why I ALWAYS wear socks to class. I refuse to walk barefoot on the same floor as them. Having said that, this is not a reflection on the studio, as it's not their fault that people are nasty. But like I mentioned, better cleaning between classes and airing out the room plus some eucalyptus oil or something would def help! read more

Friendly and welcoming yoga studio. There are a variety of classes starting from Restore which concentrates on more stretches. Love this class after a long week of sitting at a desk. Then it moves up from Slow Flow to other challenging classes like Power Flow, Hot yoga and Sculpt. Classes are also available during the weekend and the teachers are all very approachable. They supply all the equipment needed for the classes like yoga blocks and weights. You just need to bring your yoga mat. I would highly recommend trying this studio out. read more

Love love love Yoga six! First came in a couple months ago for a Yelp elite event and fell in love with the studio and getting back into the yoga practice. After my three classes I decided to sign up and now completed 13 classes. I think I've met almost all the instructors now - each so friendly and encouraging, my favorite classes are Restore, Mobility, and core burn. Each class is a great work out, gets your whole body moving, lots of sweating, followed by a grounding meditation to finish out each class. I love my experience at Y6 so far and can't wait to continue seeing my progress. read more

What a great experience at YogaSix Stevenson Ranch. I didn't think I'd like the warm and hot yoga as much as I do, but the way both Justin and Beth run their classes, I experienced challenging but fulfilling Yoga sessions. Each of the classes I took, Signature Flow, Slow Flow, and Power Flow flow very well in and out of each poses and I was very immersed with classes. In regards to difficulty, Slow Flow is the easiest and a great way to dip your toes in warm/hot yoga. It is only "warm" at around 90F, while the other two classes are "hot" at 99F and 100% humidity. I'm glad that I did the order that I did, which was Signature (medium difficulty), Slow Flow (easier), and Power Flow (most challenging and taught by Beth). The last one require the most amount of balance as you do spend a good deal amount of time with one-legged poses. Price-wise, these are a bit more premium so it's best to look into the packages to get the most bang for your buck! read more

The location has plenty of parking out front, lots of locker space and some really great classes and people that I had the pleasure to be a part of. I had the pleasure of taking several Yoga classes at this location, I did Y6 Restore and Slow Flow classes. I was nervous having had been out of Yoga for at least 10 years and out of shape compared to the past. I loved that the instructors are all very kind, non-judgemental, and easy to follow instructions. I was able to follow the pace, and listen to my body. I must say I was pleasantly surprised by the flexibility that I still retained through the years, but also surprised by areas in my body that felt tight that I didn't expect to have tightness. Yoga truly helps strengthen, stretch, and bring mindfulness to the body. The facilities have yoga blocks to borrow as well as other items, however I dug in my garage and found my old Yoga equipment and brought them with me to each class. I love that everyone wipes down all the equipment after each use so if you borrow anything it's clean. I have also never done a Hot Yoga so I didn't choose to do one of those classes, but actually all the classes are done in a warm environment which surprised me during my first class and I thought I wasn't going to be able to do it, but instead, I think the heat helped loosen me up, and upon leaving I felt SO GOOD. Like refreshed upon stepping outside, and the feeling lasted the entire day. One of my favorite things is the eucalyptus infused cool towel at the end of class, it feels so good to use that towel while drinking some refreshing water. I loved my experience and I cannot wait to sign up for more classes soon! read more

I was nervous at first since I thought I was going to feel claustrophobic being in a hot room but I'm glad I decided to not let my anxious thoughts take over and take the class. Before class started I met Jalin who radiated a beautiful spirit inside and out. She made me feel confident with taking the class. One thing I really liked was how everyone joining these classes is at a different level of their yoga journey and Jalin provides alternative options if one move is not as comfortable for your body. I believe the heat was at 97 degrees and although it sounds hot, your body adjusts to the temperature. I was dripping in sweat but I felt amazing afterwards. I really enjoy that after each session cold towels with a nice refreshing scent are provided as a nice way to cool down. read more

I had a great experience at YogaSix! I signed up for Jalin's Sculpt and Flow class. It was my first yoga class (and my first heated class) so I was very lost, but the staff was very helpful and kind! I brought the wrong type of mat so they let me borrow one of theirs, so so nice. Love the classes here..Jalin and Kim are my favorites. They give such clear instructions and provide guidance especially when she sees someone new or struggling with the flow (like myself).
