I am visiting SC on a business trip and the flight and tough sleeping surface in the hotel, my back was in rough shape. I finished my meetings around 8:30-9pm and looked up chiropractic and acupuncture places, but all were closed nearby. Against my better judgment I looked up a massage places. As fate would have it I ended up at the Yokyo Spa. The place looked sketchy, but unbearable back muscle pain skewed my thinking. The masseuse said the prices were $30 for half an hour, $45 for $60 and $80 for an hour. I agreed to a Swedish/ deep tissue massage for an hour. She told me to undress and get on the table. I kept my underwear and socks on. She proceeded to start the massage and her breath smelled of alcohol and maybe mouthwash, and she was missing a few teeth. I could see right off the bat she had no clue how to do a deep tissue massage, but I stayed quiet because as bad as she was it was helping my back a little. After 5 minutes she stops and tells me "what you want, s*x, bl*w job, han***b?" I was completely taken back by her question and responded "I just want a massage". She then got really angry and said "you tip $60 for massage then!". At this point I wasn't as friendly and I told her I wanted to go. She said "no, turn around and I'll give you han***b". Now her breath reeked of alcohol and she starting cursing in a foreign language. She then said "I work of tips, we don't give massages here, it's touching and then the 3 options". I told her again I had no interest and proceeded to put my clothes on. She left the room extremely upset and I truthfully got frightened she was going to get physical/ confrontational. I opened the door and she was standing there agitated. I gave her the $60 tip for a massage I didn't get and left as quickly as possible. I'm not from South Carolina and against my better judgement I came to the this "spa". Places like these are the reason s** trafficking exists. Law enforcement should shut down this place immediately. My back is still killing me and I paid $140 for a massage I never received. read more
