As I sat filling out the forms of which there were approximately 5 or 6 forms, the receptionist was talking on the phone. In reading over the forms, on one page that I was to sign for Chiropractic Care which I had not requested, I was crossing off the sections that stated that I accept the risks involved including convulsions, broken bones and worse. Just as I was completing that form, the receptionist interrupted her phone conversation to abruptly say that she gave me that form by mistake and I didn't need to complete it. I then was reading over the next acknowledging the risks of Acupuncture and other therapies as the therapist sees fit including burns, shocks, etc etc. This form referred to the "doctor listed below" however no doctor was listed. When I asked the receptionist who the doctor was she said just he is qualified and registered. " Just sign, just sign, just sign she said abruptly." Along with the lack of answers to my question that she clearly did not want to answer, I felt I was being bullied into 'Just Signing". I then responded to her quietly and evenly that I don't want to sign without reading the forms. I can't even remember her response to this at this moment. She must have said again just sign because it was at this moment I once again said gently but firmly that I do not want to sign what I have not read. It was at this same moment I decided something was not quite right about this place and that I needed to leave. I handed her back the mostly incomplete and unsigned forms and said quietly to her, "This does not feel right to me. I feel I'm being bullied in to signing forms I have not as yet read." I didn't mention her refusal to answer my question about the name of the doctor I was supposed to sign giving permission for him to perhaps burn or shock me. I followed my gut but I was disappointed as I had planned my day around this first appointment and had already waited a week for it. Still, I left feeling I had made the right decision and before I was even back home I was certain of it. I may have to wait another week for another appt at another Physio place but I hope at my next one my initial impression and the therapists instill confidence in me. I am not new to physio, chiropractors or acupuncture as over the years my active lifestyle has led me to seek out various therapies. Never have I encountered anything like this. I arrived at 2:30 pm and left the office at 2:45. I suggest you don't even try. She was still on the phone. He went in for his scheduled time, i waited the hour for my appointment then i was told that there was a mistake and my appointment is NOT today rather the following Saturday! When i spoke to the receptionist, i had her repeat 3 times my booking. The receptionist let me know that b/c of all the confusion she would add on an extra 30 mins to the massage when i come in. Well i went in, got ONLY 1 HOUR of a massage and was told that the manager cannot bill the RMT for only 30mins. I called several days earlier to book Joan (recommended by a friend) and the receptionist whom I spoke with was friendly and accommodating. I love that they give you an email reminder the day before so I wouldn't forget the appointment. The place was super clean and the fact that I booked the massage for 8am, there was no one there besides the MT and I, making the place nice and relaxing. I really hate to go to places where the walls are thin and I can hear people talking outside. The massage was seriously the best! Joan was super nice and made sure I was comfortable. She definitely focused on the areas that needed more work (shoulders, upper back). Perhaps it is because Joan is a Athletic Therapist, but she knew exactly how to go about the problem. Be Well also has a great variety of products that you can buy - candles, sage, CBD oils.I had trouble sleeping for a few weeks and asked Lena about the CBD oils. You can choose from a range of days and times for all the available RMTs. You get an immediate e-mail confirmation, and another e-mail reminder the day before your appointment. The front entrance is a bit small and not too fancy, but you are always greeted nicely, and offered a choice of the day's hot and cold fresh tea offerings. You can change into slippers if you wish, and sip your tea if you have a few minutes before your appointment. Those are just the extras, and the best part is definitely the massage. Staff are so professional, very soothing, and you feel like you're in the hands (literally) of a capable healer. That might sound a bit odd but it is truly how you feel while you're there. I never feel rushed, and I am always asked each time about specific issues or trouble spots, or things to avoid. It amazes me how well everything I ask for can be accommodated and accomplished. 100% recommend.

They offer water and tea when you first walk in or after your treatment, and take the time to hear your concerns so they can plan an effective massage for you. They sell interesting products from pain reliever ointments to teas and candles. The online booking system is efficient so you can pick who you want to see and when instead of playing phone tag. Their prices are just above the average rmt prices but you are getting highly knowledgeable and skilled RMTs unlike a spa/groupon where you leave irritated that your upper traps are still in need of attention.
