It does a number of things: Keeps records on all Rolls Royces and Bentley's built on one side of the world and who were their owners, restores them, and has a museum with currently 29 cars. Our tour guide Sarah Is one of a couple research librarians there who also gives tours. She was extremely knowledgeable and immensely pleasant during our tour. I thought it would be an interesting experience because I love cars but it was even more than I expected. I went with a few other people that are not into cars at all and they found the museum very interesting and enjoyable too. I really encourage you to check out this hidden gem in Mechanicsburg. No entrance fee but $5 suggested donation. **Make sure you call ahead of time so that you have a tour guide dedicated to you if you want one and to make sure that you can get in because they have a lot of groups that tour the museum on different days.

I've long been a fan since their early days and old location in Bridgeport....... In case you're not familiar with what ReStore is it's a store consisting entirely of donated (new/used) building materials and supplies. It's a great resource for anyone remodeling or doing home maintenance that wants to save a few bucks. Since my last time here they've added a few departments and also now offer furniture. Check here before heading to Lowes or Home Depot because there's a good chance you'll find what you need. Windows, doors, cabinets, tubs, desks, lighting fixtures, paint and more are some of the departments, but there's so much more! Some examples of my experiences over the years: When we needed a vintage toilet lid we found it here - $4? When we tore out our old kitchen we donated our cherry cabinets to them - I'm sure they are living on as extra storage in a garage. When I needed a stainless steel sink and didn't like the price my contractor had quoted I found one here like new for $8. Ditto for 2 bathroom remodels - I got brand new Kohler drop in sinks for $8 each, years apart. When I needed new knobs I got them here for mere pennies. I also needed a small amount of tile for a mosiac project and found it here. You'd be surprised at how many of the products are new! Builders donate leftover materials and change orders here. Stores will donate their overstock. Aside from the new merchandise there's vintage supplies from remodels. They are a great resource for matching up trims. If you are a homeowner make this one of your regular stops.
