One of the smallest Goodwill's in Lancaster Co and the one I frequent the least, it's still worth a…read moretrip if in the area. I'm rarely up this way or am en route to somewhere else or I'd pop in more often. I've been here twice and made purchases each time. My most recent visit was a week or so ago. Not much has changed from my last visit a few years back. Clothes were organized by item and color. Coats were in abundance while kids clothing and toys were skimpy. Linens are wedged in the corner and were dated and overpriced. If you don't have a grandma to make you an afghan you could find one (or ten!) here. The handbag and dvd selection was plentiful. New to Goodwill's in this area is new items (think Dollar Store and seen on TV products). This location was no exception and had them all lined up against the front windows. Being November there was also a designated Christmas section where I scored some miniatures for my granddaughter's Christmas village, but again stock was limited. Housewares are separated by color and in typical Goodwill fashion are just piled on shelves with no consideration to what it is or how fragile it might be. I'm glad I walked thru this isle twice because I found a like new cloche for display that I didn't spot my first time 'round. I also scored a rather large, ornate frame complete with 4 spaces for pictures. The price tag of $69 was still on the back from Hobby Lobby. My price a mere $14.99. That frame was awkward to tote around the narrow aisles and barely fit in the cart. When I asked the cashier if I could keep it up there he replied with a firm no. "Company policy" although I'd never had that happen at other locations. He was very dry and condescending. At checkout he was trying to make jokes unprompted that myself and the other patrons in line just didn't "get". His personality and disposition were awkward at best and I suspect in hindsight that maybe he was on the spectrum. After my purchase he carried my purchase to my hubby's suv and out loud make an unwanted snub about "the gas guzzlers being out today" in a way that made it sound like we were solely responsible for global warming. Hubby was not amused, but I was happy with my purchases even if they did come with a free dose of attitude.

I like goodwill but after finding something i really liked and was unable to purchase it because of…read morethe "no tag no purchase" rule which i think is stupid i was not impressed..
