Parking was easy, you enter the free lot off of E.12th. From there it is a short walk to the voting area; there is an area for canvasing by candidates and there supporters during the walk if you want more information. Once inside I was directed down the hall and to the right where they have a large area set up for early voting. When I arrived there was no line and there were a dozen or more stations set up to check in. You present your ID and they confirm you information, then they print out your ballot and you sign to confirm. From there have your choice of voting kiosks where you fill out your ballot and then take it to have it scanned. Overall voting early at the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections was convenient, easy and well organized. With the large number of stations set up I would guess that they can handle large crowds, but your experience might vary. A nice job all around and all of the election workers I interacted with were friendly and helpful.

I had a smooth experience here voting early during the midterm elections. I just voted today…read more(Sunday - November 4th 2018) and I'm glad I'll beat the crowds on election day which is Tuesday, November 6th. I got here early at 12:30pm and a line quickly started to form. Voting began at 1pm and I left at 1:30pm because I was taking my time as I voted. You can be in and out within 10 mins if you vote quickly. Right now (1:45pm) there is a long line of people waiting to vote but the process is looking smooth and controlled. The ballots are paper based so when you enter, you will be given a paper ballot along with a form to complete. On the form, you will be asked for your name, address, and either your driver's license number or the last 4 digits of your social security number. I heard that the actual polling locations on election day in your neighbourhood will have electronic ballots. If you plan to vote early then come here to the Board of Elections and vote. The building is clean, safe (security officers are around), and parking is at designated spots. Parking will be tight though if you don't get here early. GO VOTE. Ever since I moved to this area about 7 months ago there has been an ongoing issue with dumpsters…read morebeing emptied before 6am on weekdays and weekends. I am located directly behind a dumpster that is consistently been emptied between 5-5:30am for the past 2 months, every Monday. I researched the noise ordinance for the city and found that there should be no unreasonably loud noise before 6am on the weekdays. Decided to call the city listed phone number regarding this issue. First, I was told that I was correct and that the noise ordinance should be enforced. Then I was directed to call my local Council Person, Marty Keane. What a mistake. First, I emailed him using the Cleveland City Council site to send the email under "Contact Us". I never heard anything back, left my personal email and personal phone number. A week later I left a voice mail for him. Again, I stated my issue and left my number. It has now been over a month and I have yet to receive any form on contact from this useless "councilman". It is really a shame that we have people "serving" us who can not even be bothered to return a phone call. Common courtesy would dictate that at this poor excuse for a public servant return a phone call. So very disappointed with my so-called government at work. I will be sure to not vote for him the next time around and hopefully get the word out to everyone else who votes in this ward. Good luck getting anything accomplished because Marty Keane can't even be bothered to return a call to a citizen.

All I can say is, WOW. The Euclid Public Library is beautiful with its open, airy, newer construction. Access to power at almost every seat from table tops to comfy chairs. This place has a lot to offer. Large DVD collection, a special children's area , a good size separate section for teens. For a freelance professional like my self, it offers wifi, power, and spacious setting. There are even quite rooms, if you need perfect silence. We are in Cleveland every two weeks. I'll be back here for sure

Since the library was housed in the school, the library was only open during school hours and closed during the Former Middle School summer months. In 1937 the Library Board voted to keep the library open all summer. Library hours were extended into the evening hours in the 1940's, and in the 1950's to include Saturday's. The first children's hour was held in 1937, and is still a tradition we continue to this day. In 1964 a bond issue funded the building of the current library, located at 700 Lincoln Avenue. The library housed 54,000 volumes in 1969 when the building was dedicated.

I had forgotten how grand the library is. It is definitely a hidden gem. CPL is worth a visit for any visitor and local. The Superman exhibit was small but had many items of interest. The staff was very helpful in guiding us around the building. I really enjoyed the special collections that included menus from old Cleveland restaurants. As we walked around we spoke to staff. They were all very friendly. If you are going for reading material the CPL collection seemed enormous.

I took my boyfriend here a few months ago and we had…read morea great time, spending a few hours looking around, before needing to leave as they were closing to the public to host a private wedding reception (great location for that, btw. The building is gorgeous!) It did need to have better signage throughout and I wish the layout was a bit less random as we kept circling back and forth and not knowing what we had and had not seen. Anyway, as of August 2025, the cost was $15 a ticket per adult for entry. The Hay-McKinney Mansion was included in the ticket price. We probably should have waited to go in a free tour because information was scarce. I liked touring the mansion but I had a much better time going through the non mansion of the museum complex. I am glad we were able to attend the doll exhibit before it went away later that month. I grew up collecting American Girl dolls and Madame Alexander dolls and this filled me with nostalgia. I also loved the fashion in WWII exhibits. The outfits were fabulous! They closed off a gallery and the outside for a wedding that was about to begin. It was a beautiful Saturday afternoon and I wish I could have been invited, lol. There were also temporary exhibits on black photographers, women in politics, mini bikes, the superman hum vee from the 2025 I had a good time looking through the Crawford auto aviation museum and of course, riding the massive and free, carousel! It's almost 125 years old and cost 3 million dollars to restore and each horse is hand carved out of wood. The ride is a must-do for all ages! Overall, a good local city museum with some awesome things inside.

During one of our first dates, she commented that I knew more about her hone state than she did. Though I doubt that was the case, I had made it a point to learn about the place that my broadcast career took me at the time. Had I been moving to Cleveland, this would have been the spot to learn more about the city and area. My daughter is here as a patient of the Cleveland Clinic. She awaits a transplant and has lived here for a few months already (in Parma). I took a quick weekend trip here to visit her and learn more about the culture. This museum offered a wonderful crash course. I've always thought of this town as the dingy, cold locale for unfortunate fans of the Browns and Indians. I was totally wrong. In fact, Cleveland was very much a player in our country's industrial age. (Far more than my home state of Texas!) Detroit seems to get all the credit for the automobile industry, but Ohio -- particularly Cleveland -- really got there for the cash. Who knew? There are other parts of this museum that left me asking 'Why?' The motorcycle display, while pretty cool, doesn't have much to do with Cleveland any more than any other place. Some of the art ... same thing. Still, you'll learn more about Euclid Avenue than you ever thought possible, and the carousel is a marvelous piece of history.

As a resident of Sourek Trail the city council of Cuyahoga Falls has passed the motion for builders…read more(who have purchased land on Sourek Trail) to build 89 new homes on .25 acre lots. The residents have voiced many concerns, but have been denied and ignored all requests. We and the Cuyahoga Valley National Park rangers have environmental concerns, mainly with erosion with the increase in heavy storms. Many homes and portions of the park have needed major repair from recent storms. We voiced concerns about wiping out natural animal habitat for important local species: snow owls, fox, bat's, bees, milkweed, and butterflies. The city does not care. Most importantly we have voiced our concerns about the SAFETY of our residents. With an 18 foot wide small country road with severe ditches on either side, our residents safety will be compromised with the increase of construction vehicles and an increase in traffic on our road by adding 200+ more cars to the daily traffic. The proposed tariff from the new development homes in place to redo the street will most likely not take place for upwards to 4-6 years. We walk our small children and pets daily on this road. My fear is that a fatality will occur. That fatality will be in the city's hands. Be prepared for that law suit City of Cuyahoga Falls. Us residents have one last ditch effort to try to fight for the separation of the development side of the road (Smith Road side) from the Sand Run Rd. part of Sourek Trail. The meeting is May 29th at 6:30pm in the meeting rooms of the Natatorium. The city of Cuyahoga Falls has made it clear that our safety and the city's environment aren't any of their concern. Residents will show up in large numbers for voting to ensure we elect a DIFFERENT group of council members that will be more concerned for the lives of our children and less concerned with an increase in tax money from average homes built on a postage stamp lot. That land could have served at a nature realm or city park for its residents, and should have never been voted to be an R3 zoning. I hope the money is worth it Cuyahoga Falls! Congratulations on allowing your city to become a concrete jungle.
