They kept the job site clean/protected, they were true to their word and showed up on time every day and worked full days to get the job done quickly, and they even went a step further than they needed to, and cleaned out all the weeds and poison that had grown in the mulch around the wall (it had gotten really bad since it had been almost 6 months since the original contractor disappeared). I'd like others to see the horror show that is now my yard. I wanted to replace a small concrete patio at my sidedoor with stone and have my existing stone steps and a small upper patio cleaned and shored up. Instead, after more than a week (on what was projected to be 3-4 days) of Meadowview's work, I had to stop them. It was impossible to deny the terrible job they were doing. Friends and neighbors have come to look and are equally appalled. I have obtained the prognosis of another landscaper/hardscaper and ALL the stone Meadowview placed plus ALL the existing stone that was here, has to be removed. I will now have to purchase ALL new stone for the project to be done correctly. Meadowview used "quikcrete" indiscriminately on and between the stone, creating a huge, ugly eyesore, which is inappropriate and already cracking. In the process, Meadowview destroyed large sections of grass on my front and back lawn and then placed straw - with either minimal or no seeding, no prep or watering (it is August) - to cover all the bare ground and tire tracks they created. It's a horrible mess and it will likely take months before it can be done properly. I have lost the enjoyment of my yard for the foreseeable future. Everywhere I look, between damaged, unleveled stone, steps covered in bright white quikcrete, and bare or straw-strewn ground, is complete disaster. I'm leaving this review because I look to comments for help in decision making and assume others do the same. I did my due diligence to choose what I thought was the right company to handle the project and chose Meadowview because I assumed the owner, the photos and the comments were true.
