Large mall with SO many stores. I came here to poke my head around Crate and Barrel, and Pottery Barn and end the shopping experience at Cheesecake Factory (places that we desperately need in Ottawa, and don't have yet) Lets just say, I ended up at Shake Shack for a frozen custard and cheesy fries, and barely poked my head in Pottery Barn and finished up the experience at Earls Restaurant. Great mall, with so many stores to drop some $$$, lots of parking, but it did get very busy after 5pm on a Friday. read more

The mall that's closest to where I live in, that's why I come here most of the time. Not to mention its TTC accessible that's why its so convenient. And today went to shop for Christmas presents. I'm surprised that it wasn't as crazy as I expected. The volume of shoppers is not that much. Went to few clothing stores and it was smooth as a breeze as I checked out. And people who works at the store are all very nice. Decided to dine upstairs where the food court is as I like to have variety to choose from. Here, since its dinner time around 6:30ish you'll notice that its quite busy. End up ordering at Schezuan and got my noodles, fish and some dimsum for reasonable price. But the best part of my visit tonight here are the christmas trees display, they put it pup along Old Navy, H&M,Zara and other stores, around that area, maybe 10-12 trees in different sizes. It look so very festive and beautiful. Seen few folks capturing the trees like me. This attraction at Yorkdale is amazing, don't forget to swing by on that part of the mall to see for yourself. read more

A trendy and more upscale more. It was all the luxury brands down the luxury brands lane. You can easily spend an entire day here. They have so many stores and so many food dining options. The food court is very hectic, small for a mall that size. The food options are not great. One time there was worms found in the chinese restaurant , all the customers were screaming. I try not to eat the food court. The washrooms are hit and miss. The busy ones are very dirty and not up to par for an upscale mall. The less busy washrooms are cleaner. The stores in there are beautiful and huge. I love the variety and easy access to a variety of brands. A great mall to visit if you have visitors who are new to Toronto. read more

This mall is impressive! We mainly came here to enjoy dim sum at the large footprint Yu Seafood located by one of the entrances. The mall is on the upscale side and is huge. The main corridors are very wide and airy and with about 30' tall ceilings. They have 3 levels and it felt bigger than our own Woodfield Mall but the open volume could have fooled me. It was in fact the world's largest enclosed shopping mall when it opened in 1964, but has since been expanded and of course modernized several times over. The directory is a giant touch screen which is cool and hi tech but slightly cumbersome to use at first. I didn't really check out prices but they have a huge Canada Goose and a huge Rolex store here if that tells you anything. It's worth seeing for grins if you're in the area. read more

I recently dropped by Yorkdale Shopping Centre to check out Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N., which is located dead centre of this mall. Here's an interesting fact. I hadn't shopped at Yorkdale in over a decade! I have fond memories of Yorkdale. I used to spend a lot of time at malls. It was the case when I was an undergraduate student at York University. When you have four hours between classes and it doesn't make sense to head home by public transit, what do you do? You hit a mall. My experience getting to Yorkdale was by TTC. From Glendon, it was two buses and a subway ride in each direction. From the main campus, it was a bus and a subway ride. I am actually jealous these days that you can simply do the subway without any transfer! To be frank, I barely recognize this mall. It has changed over the years with various expansions and business changes. There used to be a family-run Italian restaurant that had the best spaghetti and huge meatballs. My friend, who is Italian, highly recommended going there. So, we did many times as students. The mall used to have Tall Girl. I was on the short end of Tall Girl for pants, but I particularly loved the shoe section where women's shoes ran up to size 13. They were comfortable and stylish. My first Fossil purchase was at this mall. I am still a fan of Fossil (my watch is from the company). I was sad to see that it was no longer there. Stores and eateries that I do recognize are the following: - Hudson's Bay - Shoppers Drug Mart - The Pickle Barrel - Indigo - Cineplex - Rolex (still can't afford anything!) I used to take a day off from work a decade ago and come here. It wasn't chaotic at all. Some of my favourite things to do were to take in a movie at Cineplex, spend some time at Indigo, check out Shoppers Drug Mart, and have a meal at The Pickle Barrel. I should get back to doing all that again. Before the pandemic, I'd avoid this mall like the plague, mainly because parking was crazy and it's a popular mall. It's more of a high-end mall these days and it's deadly on my wallet. However, it's beautiful to stroll around. I recently dropped by Zara and had a decent experience. There are special stores that I'd like to check out, such as KitKat Chocolatory and Ladurée, when I'm not trying to hit Avengers for a specific timeslot. The washrooms are gender-inclusive. Cool! Lots of safety measures are in place during this pandemic, from touchless hand sanitizer, to markers on the floor at many stores to practise physical distancing. I felt safe being at a major mall for several hours. I feel that Yorkdale is more of a window shopping experience for me. I tend to shell out when there are items that I want to see in-person and can't get that same experience online. It was great returning to Yorkdale. Given that it's a premium mall, they are likely to enforce safety measures. They carry the largest collection of designer labels, luxury brands, top tech and home decor in Toronto and maybe all of Canada. I don't know if it's just me? But these girls here seem to all have designer bags and are dressed-to-be-seen? So maybe consider some effort in putting your fashion foot forward. Another mall. We wanted to walk somewhere indoors and decided to visit Yorkdale Shopping Centre. They have a variety of stores. Mostly came here for window shopping and to get some steps in but then we came across all sorts of sweet treats. Picked up some specialty Kit Kat, tea from Ten Ren, Uncle Tetsu Cheesecake, and Ladurée macarons. So much for coming here to get those steps in, lol! There are a variety of food options at this mall. Parking can be difficult to find. This place can get packed quick. Restrooms are clean. The mall is neat and organized. I'm glad we got a chance to visit. read more

Yorkdale shopping centre is one of the most popular high end shopping center. They have louis vuitton, lululemon, artzia, candy stores, apple, to h&m. Alot of shops were bored which had signs saying coming soon. I mainly wanted to go to Canada goose. And there was a line to get in. Which was not to ling of a wait. But keep in mind 99.9% of the people in the shopping mall does not wear mask. Also the parking is horrible. It reminds me a combination of the great mall outlet on a black Friday and a livermore outlet. The horrible parking, rude drivers and Hella hard to find parking. You will find people double parked blocking up the spaces. Also you will have drivers and cars blocking that are driving and blocking the intersection entereance ways to get into the parking lot area. It took me almost 20 minutes to exit my parking space because no one will let each other out. I don't know if I will ever come here again. read more

I very much enjoy this mall, the interior brings some good energy and the lighting. Just remember three was shooting in 2018 in this mall. I have been to this mall many times. Pick up cheese cake, uncle tetsu, stare at nespresso machines that I want in my kitchen. Stop ike at Nordstrom to dream, eat, cineplex and I do enjoy the convenience of changing your mind. Sometimes I'm at Yorkdale and decide...wait I want a quick bite in downtown first and jump ride onto the subway line. The bathroom stalls are almost floor to ceiling doors, except the front door with built in hand sanitizers and white bright washrooms. The seats between the stores are comfy. And the halls are big and spacious that make it very easy to push a child stroller for young families. The underground parking is very nice too, just keep in mind the time limit. Massive mall which equals spacious stores! Lots of more branded stores, which I don't necessarily care about, but I can see why it attracts so many people to visit. It is kept really clean inside and despite there being hundreds of thousands of people going through everyday, it's so wide that I hardly ever feel crowded in. But holy smokes is parking a nightmare. Don't know if it's the drivers or what, but they need more security. Nothing happened to me personally but I've witnessed my fair share of crazy drivers, fighting people, people crossing without looking, people driving through cross ways, cars pulled up all along the side of the road blocking traffic, etc. Once you get inside, it won't matter. Haha I particularly enjoy that they have more home furnishing/kitchenware stores to browse through. It's not my go-to choice, but a nice place to go once in a long while. I don't say this often but being here was a magical experience. In fact, I never say that about shopping malls. Aside from the expensive brands and lines to get into stores, I truly enjoyed just walking around and discovering the different products and shops. Sure, there's Canada Goose, Coach, Prada, and Gucci. But there's also Uniqlo, Indigo, and Muji. There's something here for everyone. My favorite two stops were Muji and Michel's Bakery. Some of the best baked goods I've had in awhile! This place is huge but you can make it through in a day. The parking lot was a nightmare so if you don't have to drive, then don't. read more

Great shopping center with a lot of shops. They have high end brands, but also your average mall shops like the Disney store and Lids. The Tiffany's shop here is pretty big and they have a service area where the turnaround is pretty quick, in case you have anything to drop off/pick up while shopping. They have a food court area on the second floor with different food stands, but it's always so crowded and busy that we never tried. You can also get here by public transit, so if you get off Yorkdale station (subway), it's conveniently connected (only about a 3-4 minute walk). This is a great shopping mall for the area. There is plenty of parking and lots of great shops. The KitKat store being one of the great exciting things that is located in this mall. I think a lot of people are also excited for the Cheesecake Factory and Chick-Fil-A to open up as well. I enjoyed dinner at Jamie's Italian, I wanted to try something different than a chain restaurant that you can find in most places. It was good to break up the shopping and have a sit down meal. It was nice to wait for my customized KitKat Order as well. It is one of 3 places that has a Nordstrom, this one is more convenient than going downtown in my opinion. There are a lot of great shops here so in my opinion it is one of the better malls and not just your standard mall since there are some exclusive stores here. read more

Very clean mall. I realized this is rising in my favourite malls as there is various high quality shops to visit. You can find things from low end to high end shopping all in one place. The nicest shopping center in Toronto by far, The place is spacious and full of wonderful brand stores, always clean and always filled with customer service reps and security that are ready to help. Offering the best dining options, if you're into a quick bite at the food court, or looking to dine in class at one of the signature restaurants such as Moxie's, The Cheese Cake Factory, Jamie's Italian, Pickle Barrel, etc... On Christmas holidays, the place is a winter wonderland, but I feel like they always try to stay neutral rather than be "too christmasy" which is a downside. For example, you'll never see the color red or any festive decorations at the Santa Clause station, instead, you'll alwasy find wintery/blue/white colors with some rain-dears and white lights... could surely use some more Christmas spirit! As for the stores, This mall has 'by far' THE best collection of brands ranging from the cheap-moderate brands all the way to top class retailers, which makes it a destination approached by a wide variety of customers. Parking can be a bit challenging on busy times, but it's a great spot to be at, so that will automatically be justified! read more

I have to say - I really enjoyed coming to this mall. The mall has a very high-end vibe to it largely due to number 1 - the nice clean and open design and number 2 - a lot of high end brands and labels here. It's probably the largest in terms of size and the volume of stores in a mall that we saw on our entire trip. I would say this is probably one of the more flagship mall locations to come to. Ambiance/Environment: Wide open spaces with white to light veneers and high ceilings just equals a recipe for success. The restrooms are very clean and very ample. Single stalls and there are seating areas here and there. Large one in front of Nordstrom. There are a lot of the staple stores but also a lot of Canadian specific stores here too which is great for the traveler. Summary: Highly recommend coming to Yorkdale to shop. It was our first malls we visited on our Toronto trip but made such an impression and impact. You can also revolve it around one of your meals as they have Yu's Seafood, RH restaurant and Tora conveyor belt sushi here. Beautiful shopping centre to window shop, see/try on the latest fashion trends, gaze at art, have a lovely lunch and feel like you're one of the rich and famous. This mall is a HUGE place and makes you feel like a little kid with it's high ceilings and wide open spaces. It's a large upscale mall that gets super busy. It is high end because they have many premium shops that you'd expect to find in Yorkville. Big plus about this mall is their I door parking which had an indicator light above all parking spaces. These lights are green to signify that there is a vacant space, or red light for occupied spaces. This helps you save time and headaches to find open parking spaces from a distance. They also offer valet parking if you have money to throw away. Their food court is also on the high end with nicely decorated shops. read more

This is a three star Four Star review. I like the Yorkdale Mall, I do. It's way out of the way, but it's got a lot of good stuff in it and it's definitely the most spacious mall anywhere within an hour of where I live (especially downtown). I give it three stars because, despite how dressed up it is and how many high-end stores it has in it, there still isn't enough of them and it's badly organized. I should say it's well organized (designed so you get lost easily and therefor spend more time in it and spend more), but I won't. Yep, I'm getting petty with the mall. They had it coming. But really, it's badly organized. And even though I think this is mostly the TTC's doing (another quality company), the stairs made of slate rock or marble that lead from the subway landing to the mall are still dented some 10 years or so since I first stepped foot in this mall. The fact they're made of marble and this has happened with marble stairs is nothing short of scientific achievement. It also makes little to no sense to me that it is raised. I haven't investigated this in much detail, but I think if you use a wheelchair it is literally impossible to get into the mall without someone pulling you backwards up then down the stairs with the giant divets in them. Also, that tunneled hallway is super sketchy, and narrow as hell. It's like that dream where you discover there's some until now secret room in your apt, but it's the mall version. Here, you get off at the sketchy crappy subway station, down some futuristic (if we were still in the 1970's) stairs to a troll under the bridge landing to that oddly raised narrow hallway to one of the if not the priciest mall in the city. It's a puzzle, alright. The stores are pretty decent, although the Bay is pretty sad. Don't get me wrong, the staff are pretty nice, but some sections look like they were build yesterday and others look like they were also built yesterday, if by yesterday you mean 40 years ago. I kind of like it though, even if it is confusing. Old school, am I right? It's pretty cool that there are three different e-car dealerships within here, and the Uniqlo is awesome as is the Nike store. Now you know where I shopped. Except the dealerships. I mean, I talked about the subway, so I kind of gave away my hand right there. Cars are in the list for the next visit, swear! The food court is a bit puzzling. Giant mall, a food court the size of a garage and honestly, not a lot of variety. A food court with no greasy Chinese spots? How will I survive?? I mean, they're building one now, but it wasn't there today and it cost them in the stars dept. Live by the sword, die by the sword, Yorkdale!! Just kidding, I like this mall. Customer service from your security detail is sorely lacking. Was trespassed from the grounds for absolutely nothing reached out to the security companies but unless your loaded and are willing to take them to court I can't do anything. If you wanted to be treated like trash this will be the first location you would think of. read more

I have been to Yorkdale Shopping Centre so many times over the years.... I saw it from it's humble beginnings to now a "world class" mall with all these designer stores! Yorkdale is now like a Uptown Yorkville! And with the new Dine on 3 food court.. I definitely will eat at food courts more often! Parking is a nightmare though... yes it is a nightmare! Can you imagine on a Thursday afternoon I have to circle around and around looking for a parking space for over 15 minute! I almost give up..and go somewhere else.... but I want to check out the food court! Yorkdale kept expanding, changing and remodelling.. I sometimes do feel really lost here.... Here you can find really nice things.. yes a Louis Vuitton Store... and even a $300 Burr Coffee Grinder, a set of Le Creset cookware for my kitchen... Or a Tiffany diamond ring...
