Plenty of free parking. There are regularly new stores (and restaurants in the food court), a good variety and selection of budget and regular mall chains. Clean, spacious, and well decorated. I will have to come back and explore more next time

This shopping centre has transformed the decor into a festive atmosphere! The centre court area now has Santa's venue erected.

Ah, Scarborough Town Centre! I have so many fond memories coming here as a young lass to old, worn-out me! My mom and I would come here, doing the TTC bus-subway-LRT combination from the Beaches. We'd see a movie at Cineplex, grab a bite to eat at McDonald's, and shop. We often came here just before the school year started. I loved Grand & Toy, as I loved school supplies. As a teenager, I'd take the TTC with my friends. Same deal. We'd shop, see a movie, scrape up enough to get a bite to eat, and hang out. Cotton Ginny and Roots were my clothing stores. I could afford clothes at the former, which has long since died as a business, and saved up for a sweatshirt at the latter. When I moved back to the GTA, I worked at a company that was a ten-minute drive away from this mall. Colleagues and I would do some shopping on our lunch hour. I got deep into getting the quiche-of-the-day combo from Cultures. We would also stop by Bulk Barn to get some snacks. My favourite excursion was nabbing Nintendo Wii consoles. They were difficult to get when they first came out, but a colleague had connections. I drove with a colleague to STC and we got three Wii consoles from EB Games. I still have mine to this day. These days, I mainly drop by to watch a movie at the Cineplex, or see what's up at the Disney Store and such. The food court looks different with a decent variety of options to suit everybody. One of these days, I'll stop by and have a meal. Parking does get chaotic at times, but I haven't have any problems finding a spot. I simply avoid Boxing Day sales here. Been there. Don't need to suffer doing that again. (187)

We made a quick stop at this mall to pick up some items at Walmart & Dollarama. We also stopped by to see the Parisian-inspired floral market - located on the lower level beside the main escalators. This spot was quite busy with people taking photos next to the stunning floral backdrop. Fresh picked flowers were for sale, including my favorite peonies & ranunculuses. Local artisanal vendors were selling chocolates, bath products & jewelry for Mother's Day. If you're in the area, stop by from May 6-12, 2019.

To be more specific, i will focus on the foodcourt of the mall. To be even more specific, i love the wide selections of food stalls here, ranging from McDonald's to sushi to Chipotle!!! Not many malls have this bragging right. For this particular visit, i ordered shrimp tempura ramen from su&shi Noodle Bar. There were 2 shrimp tempuras and two vegetable tempuras with the ramen. This came to approximately $12. I think this is overpriced for a foodcourt eatery somehow, especially when the minimum wage is less than that per hour. The plus side is that it was tasty. The tempura batter was light and wasn't oily. The foodcourt was packed! I was there at around 330pm, and there were line ups everywhere. I can only think of this as a good thing, which means food must be really delicious at the foodcourt. I look forward to going back there to try other food!!!

Super convenient. Located walking distance from my Mom and Aunts Canada apartments. This mall has everthing I need and then some. Most importantly there is a Tim Hortons! In fact there are 2. I'm obsessed with the Iced Capp and they do a heck of a job at these two locations. Both are ALWAYS packed. My favorite candy store in here would have to be Bulk Barn. Whenever I'm visiting, I make sure to take back loads of mini gummy bears for friends and family. They offer a large variety of goodies and at reasonable prices. They have a "Dollar" Store in here called Dollarama that I adore. Not everything is a buck but most of it is. Loads of neat things. Probably one of the larger dollar stores I've been to. This place is my GO TO for some cheap dish washing liquid or other household item I may need for the apartment. There is a Walmart in this mall as well. My go to spot for cheap phone cards. The prices are a bit higher here than the Walmarts in the US on some items. The Food Court is great. Better than a lot of other food courts I've been to. They have a Ten Ren's Tea, so you can get your bubble tea fix. Two of my favorite places to grab a bite to eat at the Food Court are Villa Madina and Michel's Baguette. There is a TD Bank inside as well. My favorite time to walk around this mall would be early in the day. As it gets later, I find it a bit too crazy for me. It gets way too crowded. The mall is walking distance from the GO Transit, Voyageur, Greyhound and the T.T.C. There are loads of apartment buildings near by as well as office buildings. Don't be surprised at the madness. You've been warned.

This mall has improved exponentially!!! It has a lot of the major stores the average shopper looks for. It has a lot of parking but limited during holidays! Trust me, I've been going to this mall when I visit Toronto, for years! There's a great movie theater and an improved dining area for patrons on the ground floor. There are two floors to this mall. There's a Walmart attached as well. There are a few exterior restaurants and stores and a Best Buy nearby. The mall is connected to a local train route called the RT, which is connected to Kennedy Station. It's next the 401 for those taking the highway. The mall was pretty clean but could use some more restrooms and phone charging stations! I miss the bookstore that was there too. I'm happy they have a Zara though! :)

    I Love Christmas decorations!

This mall has improved quite a bit in the last couple of years, especially with regards to the Taste Market and the selection of stores.

The lack of foot traffic creates a hollow atmosphere, and many of the remaining businesses are specialized niche services rather than general retail. While it is no longer a destination for a full afternoon of shopping, it remains useful for those visiting specific, long-standing tenants like the food court or specialized doctors' offices. For most, however, it serves more as a quiet shortcut than a vibrant commercial center.

The mall kind of shares a parking lot with two other plazas. You can pass through but I'm not sure if that was completely intended. This does happen to mean that it has an extremely busy parking lot as there are many restaurants and even a big grocery store nearby. Both the inside and the outside of this mall appear kind of derelict. On the inside, depending on the day, don't be surprised if there are a bunch of stores that are closed since most stores operate on their own schedule and not with that of the mall. There also are some empty stalls that kind of add to a weird ambiance. Speaking of, there are a ton of ginseng and Chinese health food stores in this mall. They're mostly owned by different people and they're all competing with each other so they will aggressively call you into the store which isn't really what I want to deal with on a leisurely walk. I really just wanted to take a peek at what was going on and after about 5 minutes I decided I was going to spend as little time as possible in here and booked it.

I have been to Dynasty Centre a handful of times. It's an area in Scarborough that I used to frequent with my parents many moons ago. With so many eateries in Markham, we rarely come down here. A few months ago, I dropped by to dine at Samosa Fusion with friends. This place offers an all-you-can-eat buffet with a special promotion at the time of $20 per person. I don't know if it has gone up in price, but it was regularly $25, which is still decent to stuff yourself silly. Next door to it is HK Garden. The Hong Kong-style milk tea (iced) stands out as being one of the best drinks I have had in a while. I recently did takeout from Great Fountain Fast Food. It's in the food court. The fried beef rice noodles were excellent. This combo came with soup and a drink. The hot and sour soup was amazing. I am still dreaming about the iced lemon drink, which was refreshing and so good if you are a lemon fan. This meal was less than $20. It was a great value for the quality of food and drink that I got. There is lots of parking at this plaza. I've seen it being fairly busy on a Saturday. It's fairly quiet after work on weekdays. I have been fortunate to not experience idiot drivers at this plaza, which is so refreshing! I am still working my way through the businesses. I have seen stores that sell DVDs, herbal stores, and more. So far, I've liked the eateries that I have visited. There's plenty for me to explore. (193)

There are a lot of the same types of stores - multiple day spas, places to get your haircut, and of course a multitude of restaurants both on the perimeter and inside at the food court. The parking lot technically has arrows that point you down which way to park but I've seen them ignored so just be careful. If all the surface parking is gone, there is underground parking towards the back of the plaza. The entrance to the main plaza is not the most accessible. The buttons to open the door automatically don't work. Right now the food court is take-out only. All of the establishments are open. They had some hand sanitizer at the entrance to the food court from the inside and social distancing stickers in front of each of the restaurants. I did notice that at the leftmost restaurant they were allowing people to bring in their own containers to get take-out. Maybe not the best idea during Covid.
