From the time of entering until the time we walked out.. felt very good for stepping into this location. Came here only because at another Toyota showroom the salesman didn't wanted to even discuss the options of leasing vs owning. So glad we were here because the sales women Katherine took time to understand our needs and gave us all the possible options to choose from. It did take sometime for us to decide on which one to go for (because its a huge investment) but definitely got a lot of help in finding those great options. Purchased paint protection warranty on my truck and they wouldn't honor it making up some excuse that the scratch was too deep. Buffing out a scratch is the entire reason to drop 2k on the warranty. Don't trust the managers, they'll waste your time. I paid 2k for nothing, they basically robed me and hid behind fine print when I called them out on it. Also the used car lot is separate so no things don't transfer over. read more

Extremely SLOW service. Brought my vehicle in for oil change and break fluid flush at 10:30AM. The service wasn't started until 1:30PM. The vehicle was released at 6:00PM. Manager Tony came up with a handful of excuses of why it was so slow, didn't take ownership of the slow service, didn't offer a discount for the excessive time it took. I've experienced 3 different Toyota dealerships, over the past 3 years and while the other two were generally fantastic and professional, Yorkdale is hands down awful. Have an 11AM appointment? Who cares! Prepare to sit outside in your idling car for 30 minutes, while you stare at them through the garage door, as they deal with other customers (who have also been waiting). Oil change? You'll be waiting 2-3 hours, on average. That's the simplest thing they do, so imagine how long real repairs take. Need a diagnosis? $120 to plug in the diagnostic computer and push a button. Home diagnostic computers come with a phone app that works over Bluetooth, for $100. Do yourself a favour and go to any other toyota dealership. read more

Have four hours to waste? Then book your appointment at Yorkdale Toyota. I arrived at 715 AM for a 730 appointment, but found out that they double-booked. The 15-minute delay I was promised turned into 3+ hours - my car didn't go on the lift until after 10 AM. And when they finally finished a 15-minute inspection, a tire truck blocked me in for another 20 minutes. Seriously I will never go back here. Ever. I've had 4 different TOYOTA over the years. 2 from this location. Always a good experience. Their collision center has repaired a Matrix destroyed in the Toronto ice storm years ago and recently restored my RAV4 that was rear ended. Both times the repairs were better than new which is hard given they were great to begin with. I haven't had a bad experience yet with TOYOTA vehicles or this dealership. It's likely I'll get my next one from this same location. New models look great. Very tempting. read more

They took 4 hours to do a simple service! I asked the front desk guy how long it normally takes to do this kind of service and he LIED about it, saying it takes around an hour and a half; when I asked his colleague, he said they worked on my car for only 20-30 minutes in total. They put my car in their garage and totally forgot about it until I complained several times - only then they put me on the queue. By the way, I had an appointment (this was NOT a walk-in situation). Took a relative's car in for simple oil change and winter tire change over. Max 1 1/2 hrs work with a scheduled appt, which start time was not respected at all. Took 3 hrs. Waited twice in service line (drop off and pickup) 12-15 mins each wait time, because service rep level (out of 7 positions) varied between 0 and 2 people despite a long line. One rep good but struggling with backlog. Other rep totally disengaged and kept leaving for long periods of time despite people waiting. This service level needs to be addressed, and unfortunately was so bad that it would seriously reconsider buying a new vehicle here. read more

The second time I came to get a recall done I had to leave the car with them for one day and I wasn't given a loaner to drive. I am usually not into writing reviews but felt it is important that I share my experience for others to be aware. I know it's a long one, so my apologies. This is my honest story, I bought a brand new 2015 Toyota RAV4 on October 2015. Three months after buying the vehicle, I started noticing small white discoloration on the roof of the vehicle. When I went in for my first oil change, I mentioned and showed them to the service customer service agent. He looked at them, made notes and told me that someone will contact. Three weeks later, I didn't hear from anyone so I called back, spoke to customer representative who wrote down my contact info and advised me that someone will contact me. I never heard from anyone. Being that the discoloration were small, I decided not to push it. About a year and half later, the discoloration had spread and got bigger. At that time, the discoloration had spread at other parts of the vehicle and they are getting rough/deep. I went to Yorkdale Toyota and spoke to someone (I forget the name of the person), he examined the vehicle and told me they will fix it. I waited for over 5 hours and when he finally brought the car out, no repair was done. He told me that they did some polishing. Polishing? The whole situation was super bizarre. The whole idea was to fix the discoloration and not to polish them. I brought up the fact that the discoloration are still there. He was rambling and talking around without providing any answer or solution. I asked to speak to the supervisor and they gave me the service assistant manager phone number. I left numerous voicemail but no one ever return my calls. Fast forward, on Feb 25 2019, I went there for oil change. Again, I brought up the issue, I was connected to the service assistant manager who examined the discoloration. First, he said the vehicle has passed warranty period so there is nothing they can do. I pointed to him that I have been trying to deal with the issue for over 2 years. Then the story changed quickly. He contended that some thing might have hit the vehicle. However, when I refuted the claim with facts, the story changed again. This time, he came up the idea that something acidic may have fell on the car. Eventually, he told me they will try to fix it. He took the vehicle inside. I waited for about 4 hours, and when he brought the car out, nothing was fixed. Guess what? I was told that it was polished. At this time, I was annoyed. It became clear what they were doing. I requested to speak to the manager. I was told that the manager wasn't available. I was given his contact number. Later, I spoke to him on the phone. His name is John. He apologize and told me to bring the vehicle during spring time because it will be the best weather to fix it. On May 2, I brought the vehicle in, again they took the vehicle in and when they brought it out, nothing was fixed. This time around, I was furious (as I rightfully should be). And when I spoke to John, the story changed again. Then he took a picture on the issue and said he will send it to Toyota headquarter. Weeks later, he called me and said that Toyota will not fix the problems as they believe it's not a manufacturing issue. Mind you, I've taken the vehicle to a body shop and after examining the car, they confirmed it's a manufacturing problem. Yorkdale Toyota is nothing but a fraud and scam!! Customers please be aware. They are willing to do anything it takes to avoid responsibility/accountability. I have contacted the BBB and will be filing a formal complaint. I have contact CTV about it. I am waiting for their response. Do not try to do any business with Yorkdale Toyota. You will be scammed! read more

Have been a car owner since 1976. Many different makes and have always bought new since 1987. Purchased 2018 Rav 4. Car has had multiple issues in less than 8 months and 10000km. Poor quality product and a dealer that appears to take your money and run rather than alleviate your concerns. One prior experience with Toyota (2004 Highlander but different dealer) was also poor. I had a terrible experience trying to purchase a used car from this dealership. While the staff were friendly, it was a ruse to build trust so that they could pull the rug out from under me when it came to final numbers. We had agreed on a number on the phone and they encouraged me to return to the dealership in order to finalize my purchase only to act as though no negotiation had happened. They even pretended as though our original sales representative was caught in another appointment and therefore a new representative that was not aware of the negotiation had to take over. They wasted our time and deliberately misled us. I will never purchase a car from this dealership. read more
