I went for the 75 minute custom facial, since I had been traveling a lot and my skin was all over the place. My therapist took the time to look at the profile I filled out and my skin, and discuss it in some detail before beginning. It felt thoroughly considered. The treatment room is comfortable. You'll need to remove your top but your whole body will be covered in a thick, fluffy towel. The room was perfectly climate-controlled so I was never hot or cold. She told me what she was doing as she went through the various treatments, which I liked. (But wasn't overlay chatty, which I also liked.) In addition to the face treatments, there was also some had massage. I was so relaxed that I certainly dozed off at one point. I was surprised the facial didn't include any extraction... I left with softer and smoother skin for sure, but I had never had a facial which didn't include that. (And my skin is far from perfect.) As usual, she recommended products at the end but it wasn't a hard sell - I appreciated the information but didn't feel pressured to buy. The products are quite expensive - $80-$140, but the facial was reasonably priced at $150.

In fact, it was actually less time, as I've included the inital discussion/form with therapist, undressing, dressing again and the sales recommendations at the end of the massage. On telling the receptionist (which I felt embarassed doing so), I was awkwardly given a generic $25 off next treatment voucher. I just shouldn't have paid the full price in hindsight, as 120 is astronomical for an approx. 30min massage. The massage itself was good. I have frequented other Endota salons, and loved the treatments and services, so am really disheartened. I won't be back.

You're kind of wafted with scents of citrus as you walk down the hall to the front desk. Seriously, I'm not kidding - this place smells absolutely amazing. They have a great array of beauty products to check out while you wait for your appointment, and they'll usually offer you some water as well. The ladies here offer all kinds of services, from make-up to waxing, and I've never heard a single bad thing about any of them. They have great bedside manner and you always end up walking out of there feeling confident and ready to face the world! I usually see the same woman each visit, but occasionally she's been away so I've had to see someone else, and every single beautician has been outstanding. I decided on a hot stone massage, and couldn't believe that a five star spa located on Acland st would only charge me $90 for a 60 minute treatment. I've paid more in Craigieburn for chrissake!! My therapist was amazing, not only was she great at the hot stone massage, I didn't feel one bit uncomfortable throughout the entire process, which is saying something for me! I'm still convinced it's 99% the skanky stripper type and only 1% mums. Tacky vaginal jewels aside, Brazilica is a pretty good salon. It's hygienic, they use quality wax and know their way around your bits. They can also wax your other body parts (who wants to look hot in a bikini but still be sporting a moustache?) and do men's bits too. All the products they use are naturally based and organic where possible, which I appreciate. If you want to get a good deal, become a fan of Brazilica on Facebook and you'll see any specials and promotions they have.

I've only been to the Smith Street salon, but wouldn't hesitate to try the Brunswick location.
