My two sisters and I (and our significant others) came to celebrate a milestone birthday and were beyond impressed with this place. The ambiance is fantastic! The courtyard is beautiful as well as the patio in the back. The decorating that Kitty has done throughout the inside of the house is really beautiful. And as David says, "We want to concentrate on two things: The bed, and the breakfast." And that is exactly what they have done here. Each evening, David will come to offer your breakfast choices for the following morning. And it's not just bacon and eggs people... these are GOURMET offerings all made fresh on site using fresh ingredients. We had a choice of a peach cobbler oatmeal that had peaches from the tree in the backyard even and it was delicious! There was also one addition that just made my stay even more superb... a little dog named "Jack" and he is the most precious (smiling) doggie that I have ever seen! So stinkin' CUTE! Anyway... if you are ever in the area (checking out Frank Lloyd Wright's work) you should definitely give this place a shot. They are phenomenal! Thank you David and Kitty! My mom and I stayed for a few days and were in awe of how sweet and cozy (and affordable) this BnB truly is. The BnB serves as their family farm home and the upper floor is the BnB. They just recently built the home with accents of wood and stones collected from the farm itself. Kelly (owner) welcomes you with plenty of info on activities in the area, and their family is delightful. She cooks a beautiful hot breakfast every morning (french toast, eggs, bacon, etc etc). Nearly every evening, she baked a treat of some kind to welcome us home. It was truly a home away from home. Not only is the BnB centrally located, but it has the most beautiful landscape and view. Sitting on their front porch swing watching the sunset reading a book became our favorite way to spend a calm, relaxing evening. Can't recommend this BnB enough! The pictures don't do it justice.

Looking around for some interesting and fun options we stumbled upon this B&B and decided to call to see if there were any openings. We were in luck! We quickly gave them some information and made our way down there. Upon our entry we were greeted warmly by Liberty the proprietor. She was wonderful and made check in super easy. I made myself some tea, helped myself to some gingersnap cookies, and got settled in for the night. The room was spacious and comfortable. The shower had a never ending (or so it seemed) supply of hot water and there was more than enough towels. I quickly felt at easy in the room and knew I would be getting a good nights rest. Breakfast, Liberty informed us, was held at two times, 7:30 and 9am. We picked to have ours early, which I was against, but it turned out wonderful. We got to eat a nice early breakfast and then went back to bed! Check out was at 11 so we got a few more hours of relaxing in before we hit the hiking trails. Yes, a late start, but the bed was too comfortable to leave! Breakfast was delicious. Scrambled eggs, french toast, sausage, and a fruit cup. They had orange juice, coffee, and tea. What a treat! The food was perfect. I could not ask for a better breakfast. This place was perfect. I would stay here again in a second. It was also so close to the attractions of Ohiopyle that it would be stupid not to suggest everyone to stay here!

About 5 minutes from falling water, 20 minutes from kentuck knob, 10 minutes from the windmills across from the stone quarry (worth a gander!) and I dunno. 10 minutes from Ohiopyle park? From the moment we arrived, it was obvious that Mo has thought of absolutely everything. Our room was beautifully appointed, warm and comfortable, with an incredibly comfy bed and wonderful linens - which were VERY much appreciated after a full day of riding the GAP! Every little detail was there: a fan, a noise machine, charging cables, and all those thoughtful touches you don't realize you need until you need them. The entire house is absolutely beautiful. It's so tastefully decorated while still feeling warm, welcoming and homey. You can tell how much thought and care has gone into creating a place where guests can truly relax. And then there was breakfast! Absolutely amazing. Mo is such a warm and friendly host and made us feel genuinely welcome throughout our stay. The GAP biking community and the town of Meyersdale are incredibly lucky to have the Inn on Main - and we feel just as lucky that we were able to get a reservation. This is one of those special places you remember long after you leave. We will absolutely be back.

I have a serious love hate relationship with Hidden Valley…read more Let me start with the pros: - Smaller lowkey mountain = smaller crowds and shorter lines - A great place for a beginner to learn, my boyfriend learned how to ski at Hidden Valley. Every time we go to a bigger mountain (like Okemo) he says he would have been too intimated and overwhelmed, and would not have enjoyed learning there. - Epic pass: if you have the pass, it's super convenient Cons: - The rental process is long and chaotic. Lines can get long and disorganized. - Rental equipment is NOT GREAT. After renting equipment at some other mountains, we feel that the quality at HV is a significant downgrade - The bar (Glaciers?) is way too small to accommodate the crowd. HV is small, but the bar has maybe 10-15 tables, and they're ALWAYS packed. Unless you get lucky and show up as someone's getting up, you're out of luck. - Ice Ice, baby. I get this is part of east coast skiing, but those icy patches are not fun. All in all, this is fine if it's your local mountain, but keep your expectations low. If you're just looking to get out and hit some runs, Hidden Valley is definitely passible

A couple of differences from Seven Springs that I noticed and appreciated: the heat lamps and tent and the wider green/blue trails. I did my first blue trail run here!! I came on a Friday (1/29/21) and there weren't many people, so there wasn't a wait at the lifts. I also had a lot of space to myself on the trails! I liked the towline at the top between the North Summit and the Valley. I got in a few runs at the North Summit then took the towline to the Valley, and I thought that was pretty convenient! We spent about 5 hours here. We also ordered chili and Mac n cheese for lunch at Glaciers to Go, as grab and go items, which took under two minutes, then ate outdoors under a heating lamp. Some people chose to eat indoors at the restaurants, but personally, I'm not comfortable with that. I'm just glad there are options for everybody's comfort. I lost my phone and asked guest services if anybody had turned it in. Guest services was polite and helpful even though they didn't have my phone. They asked for a number they could reach me at if it was found. At 9pm that night, we got a text from Ski Patrol saying they had my phone! Picked it up the next morning!

We had an incident between our dog and another dog that was off leash. We recalled our dog because…read morehe had snuck out of the house but then the neighbor went off yelling expletives because our dog was off leash. After talking with management we learned there is a double standard-exist if you are his buddy. His buddy has been here 10 plus years so we get yelled at for our dog sneaking out of the house but nothing happens to anyone else? Wonderful management they have here. Unfortunately I do not think we will be returning to this particular location after this incident.

The showers were a welcome extra, along with charging our phones and getting plenty of water. Stay here if you are riding the GAP and need to stay near Rockwood.
