Yes I'm in the market for a motorcycle. And yes if I lived in Western Montana I would probably come here and make a purchase. The showroom is awesome and they had a lot of '25s bikes on display. You can sit on just about any bike you wanted although a couple did have signs stating "no sitting allowed." They may have been sold or the sale was pending. The staff on site was helpful and was able to answer every question I had. The accessory area had a large selection of helmets, gear, clothes, boots and other swag. The prices were reasonable and some items had been marked down. There was a riding event going on and there were about fifty plus bikes outside when we arrived. A motorcycle safety class was also occurring on site so the place was busy. Definitely keep Young Grizzly in mind if you're in the market for a Harley purchase. read more

Was visiting out of town definitely needs to stop by at a Harley Davidson dealership. Such a nice welcoming place as soon as you walk in the door someone it's right there at the reception desk welcoming you. They definitely have a big display of motorcycle even have Polaris for sale. Love the highest ceilings and it makes it look so nice. They have a second floor to purchase a memorabilia pin or a piece of clothing as they have a great variety. Their Service/parts department is big and spacious. Their staff was very nice and friendly. Great location, and dealership! read more

Nice stop while riding through town. This dealership is set up nicely with parts and bikes downstairs and retail upstairs. There was a good selection of both. I was happy to find bottles of S100 special surface cleaner that are to find where I come from. The pricing on it was also very good. Nice folks throughout the stop. Great service and friendly staff. Needed a new helmet with Bluetooth headphones and they set me up and it work great. Bought a 2096 Road King and took it in to be serviced and add some chrome. I scheduled an appointment and they had it done in 1 day with swapping out some chrome parts. Very professional group. Would definitely recommend this place. read more

Rip off...go anywhere else! I took my Polaris ATV Sportsman 500 in for a basic service and reverse control button repair. They shamelessly charged me $721.92. Of this amount the basic service was $342.45 and amounted to an oil change (no other fluid changes or new spark plug). The reserve button replacement was $165 for the device and the balance was labor. When I picked up the ATV and test drove it before I left I found the reverse button was not even fixed and I had to leave it another day. I researched labor cost for like ATVs at three other Montana Polaris dealerships and learned that Young Grizzly was charging from double or almost double the rate at the other shops for same sevice. I spoke with the Shop Manager and he was mildly interested in customer service and said he would consider adjusting the price if they were outside the market rate. After providing the information on the other Montana Polaris dealerships with exact cost and name of dealership he changed his position and said he was comfortable with Missoula pricing for now. I will take my Polaris to Billings or Spokane before Young Grizzly in Missoula. read more

If I could give this company 0 stars I would. They don't care about the well being of their female customers whatsoever! I walked in for the first time and the male employee that greeted me made me feel so uncomfortable I had to leave. Cash in hand and I was ready to buy my first motorcycle... what should of been a very exciting day, turned into tears after how that man made me feel. After telling a friend about my encounter at the Harley Shop she told a similar story about her own experience with Grizzly HD. Turns out we had the same salesman, Jared. That being said If your a woman in your 20s looking to get into motorcycles DO NOT go to Grizzly Harley Davidson. Stopped in to buy a Dealership-labeled T-shirt. If I recall correctly, this is a Chester's dealership. I'm not too enamored with the Chester's dealerships overall, mostly because the owners no longer offer Veteran's discounts. Like knocking off 10% on an item that costs $5 to make and sells for North of $35 would in any way adversely effect their bottom line. That said, they did have a couple of T-shirts that I liked so mission accomplished. read more

They handled the problem we had and went above and beyond to make things right. Everyone has a bad day or ten! Let me start of by saying if there was an option to give more stars I would. We started a 17 day trip from Las Vegas through Utah,Idaho,Montana,South Dakota, Colorado then home. I heard a noise in the motor coming out of Salmon Idaho and knew we had to stop and quick to have it looked at. John in service got me in right away to diagnose the problem and buy a miracle they had the part in stock they needed to replace. Can't say how grateful I am for the professionalism and the help to get somebody who is on a trip back on the road. I highly recommend stopping in even if you don't have a problem with your bike and check out the great facility. All the staff were very helpful from clothing to parts. We crashed out on the couch for an hour or so while they were doing the work. It would've made for a lot longer of a trip if we would've been broke down on the side of the road between Missoula and Bozeman where he next nearest Harley was. Day three of a 16 day, 7 states (plus Canada) motorcycle ride ended in Missoula. One of my riding partners wanted to pick up some things for his bike at this store. I went in with him and asked if they had a tech who could fix the wiring on my heated vest. I had managed to pull the wires out of the plug. The gentleman I was talking with, Craig, said "bring it in!" I went and got it and Craig proceeded to fix it in about 2 minutes! He even showed me how in case there is a second occurrence. "How much do I owe you?" "No charge... happy to help you!" I told Craig that I'd be thinking well of him as I ride comfortably warm in the morning! We went to the service area at Harley and they were technically not open but they were very willing to help us and got the tire inflated appropriately. We were on an epic 3500 mile journey from California. I knew my back tire was getting close. We pulled into Grizzly HD to buy the usual T-Shirts. When we came out, there was a note stuck in my tank from John, the Service Manager, stating my back tire had surpassed "close" and needed to be replaced. I pulled it around, they changed the tire, and updated my Boom System. We were back on the road within an 1 1/2 hr, but chose to stay in Missoula that night, which turned out to be a great decision. I have held off on my review to make sure my experience was typical and not an exception. I purchased a used 2008 SE Ultra on my return from Sturgis. I have nothing bad to say about this dealership. My experience was fantastic, from discussing the bike I was purchasing, through taking ownership. Larry help me all the way through the purchase, and Tye in the parts shop help me take care of miscellaneous times. This dealership is 250 miles away, and most of my major purchases are done here. I usually enjoy going in and looking at the overpriced shiny motorcycles. I'm an avid motorcyclist myself. But today I had a really bad experience. While conversing with the salesman (didn't catch his name) he began to argue with me and told me that he'd "put his CBR up against anything in the room". Now let me get this right. A HARLEY salesman is comparing his product against a cheap Japanese rice burning novelty bike....negatively I might add. He continued by telling me that my knowledge of Harley Davidson history was all wrong. Even when I offered to look it up for him. I won't be doing business with you grizzly Harley Davidson. Your staff are sad poor excuses of people. Never ever felt so Un Welcomed in a Harley shop. read more

In my opinion it's very poor business practice when a straightforward conversation with a salesman about a motorcycle purchase is entirely discarded by the manager on arrival the following day to try the bike out. I did not have the same experience as the user below! Everytime I visit, everyone is really friendly and helpful. The store is pretty big from the outside, but don't expect to walk into a shopping mall. It is, afterall, a motorcycle dealership and compared to the other stores I visit in this area, it has a great selection and variety. They are also more than happy to special order anything I need if I can't find it in the store! I think all the folks there are pretty darn spectacular and I make a point of stopping in everytime I come through Missoula. read more

So Surprised by how great they were. Had to get some service work done, which turned into a nightmare. So I went to talk to the sales guys about just trading it in on a new one. The sales manager was awesome....I didn't get all the money in the world, but they were more than fair considering I was giving them a non-running bike they needed to spend money on. The parts guys hussled up a rack and touring seat for me. Overall, I was out of there with everything done in a few hours. My wife and I were on a 2 month motorhome trip when the front fork seals went out on the bike, spraying oil on us every time I hit a bump . We called around a 3 state area for service, all put us out a week or more. John at Grizzly got us in the next afternoon and had us out 9 next morning. The service department went the extra mile for me, stayed late and replaced my broken cam chain tensioners, oil pump etc and got me back on the road and on schedule to get to my next stop.
