I was first in the store, not because I was trying to get the promo, but the lady behind me came actively trying to get the promo. Instead of the items promised, and only after asking, they reluctantly handed us panda keychains. The lady asked again for the promo after she got her order and they told her that they weren't giving the food items because keychains are more useful. She then asked them to remove the sign for false advertising, they (angrily) said they would, yet the sign continues to be outside half an hour later. You really shouldn't be making promises you can't keep, and getting upset at your customers for it. Please consider removing this false advertising sign and just letting your cafe and food speak for itself. If it wasn't for this, this cafe would be 4 or 5 stars, but the fake promo and dishonesty has really soured my experience here.

The dipping sauce accentuated the sweetness of the pancakes. - Bulgogi Bibimbap: Bulgogi was really bland and a tad dry, so had to put a lot of gochujang on the bibimbap. - Bulgogi Japchae: Agaìn, band and dry bulgogi. The japchae was good - soft and sweet. Also, generous serving that is shareable. - Mango Banana Smoothie: A bit lumpy, and more mango than banana. But great for a hot summer day. The bagel was panini pressed which was nice but it did toast up the lettuce which wilted it. The rest of the toppings were really good. The one thing I really didn't care for was the matcha latte. It was so sweet I didn't think I'd be able to finish it. The other thing is that it hardly tasted of matcha. The latte itself was pretty much white. This store is at least twice as big as that location. There were plenty of places to sit down and enjoy your tea. I had a couple of fruity sparkling drinks at the CF Markville place. I was going to ask the man behind the counter if he had them. Instead, he said that he'd be back and I could look at the menu. It was delivered in a not-now-I'm-busy tone. It was odd. It's the only reason why this place doesn't get five stars. I'm so glad that Jason was with me. He said that the woman at CF Markville suggested that he get the high mountain pouchong tea with lemon juice and konjac. I decided to go with this drink. I got this drink with less sugar and less ice. I paid with my debit card on my phone. I tapped and was done. It didn't take much time for this drink to be made. It was nice chatting up a storm with Jason as we waited. The moment of truth was here. My drink was ready. I took a sip. It was awesome! The foam tasted like lemon meringue. The tea was perfect with the lemon juice. The konjac was chewy. I haven't had konjac since I visited Song Tea eons ago (rest in bubble tea peace). I wish that this drink came in a larger size. I got the matcha mango bingsu which came out to just over $20 after tax and tip. What was most disappointing was how little of a matcha taste I got from it. The base was a very sweet milky taste, and I really wish they infused the matcha directly into the shave ice itself. The matcha was just drizzled on top with matcha powder, along with some whipped cream which only diluted the matcha taste further. On the other hand, I will say they are generous with the mango topping, which were very fresh and perfectly ripe. They gave one single mochi cube which I feel they should either give more of or none at all. The environment itself is very noisy. Not sure what it is about the walls but they do not absorb sound well at all. Voices echo and bounce off the walls like crazy, it sounds like everyone is yelling and talking over eachother in there. That aside, the space and decor has a cute vibe and the self-serve water/coffee bar is a nice added touch. If I ever come back here, it would either be out of convenience or to try their drinks/a different dessert. Unfortunately the bingsu falls short in my opinion especially for the price tag. The base should resemble more of the flavour rather than rely on toppings.
