I've tried this brand before at Markville mall, but this location is so much better. The service is a lot quicker here and I didn't need to wait too long for my tea. We also were given a free sample of their mango iced tea and that was amazing! After I had ordered my tea, I went around to take photos of the place and by the time I took all my photos, my tea was ready for me! Amazingly quick in comparison to the mall location, which can be as short as a 15min wait.

There's a reason Chicha San Chen has been awarded the top 3-star award by the International Taste Institute for its tea. If you're someone who loves high quality tea with a modern vibe, you have to give this place a try. I'm not a huge bubble tea fan typically, as I find most places focus more on unique flavour combos & toppings. But this spot really allows you to enjoy tea in a modern way - whether you're a classic milk bbt fan or you prefer a light fruit/milk addition to bring out the tea flavour. You can tell the quality of their teas just from smelling the leaves!

Good quality bubble tea but not sure if it's worth the price. This is the only chicha san Chen location I've tried and had the opportunity to check it out before heading to the mall (just situated outside in the plazas). It was late in the day so I ordered the bubble volcano as it's one of the few options that were caffeine free. I was happy to know that they had an oat milk option as well to sub. Overall the tapioca had a nice chew with a few slightly too soft for my liking. The oat milk was frothed well and the drink was the right amount of sweetness. I'm just not sure it's worth $10. I think I would try one of the tea based drinks next time as it's probably what they're more specialized in. Small shop with only a few seating available

drinks 5/5 Service 3/5 Vive 5/5 Another location of my favourite Chi Chan San Chen BBT right beside Vaughan Mills I just get their basic black tea with cream~ nothing fancy, no toppings but its perfect. - 30% sugar, and less ice. Also the decor are always IG worthy! Super cute and great pics wherever you take them. Only thing is one of the staff wasn't really the nicest, kinda feel bad for the rest of the team. Finger cross things get better :) Overall 4.5/5

Came here with a bunch of friends and thankfully, the place wasn't as busy. I remember hearing about how long the wait was at their first location. We were eating around the area so it's great that this location was nearby. The inside was bright and had cute decorations, not much seating with tables but there are seats for waiting. They had a good selection of tea and can be customizable depending on what you feel like. You can also smell their tea so it gives you an idea of what the base would be like. I ended up getting the Dong Ding Oolong which was one of the favourites. It had a good tea flavour even with light sugar. Unfortunately, the drinks are not as customizable for the favourites which I'm a bit surprised (I was thinking of being able to choose the tea base but getting the toppings for them). The tea is made fresh so there will be a wait especially if they're busy but have enjoyed the drinks.

New location in Vaughan located in the plaza just outside Vaughan Mills. Interior is bright and airy with a long wooden bench for seating along the wall and some small tables near the window. Went with the honey osmanthus oolong tea and it came nicely packaged with a drink holder. Very refreshing! Even though there were a few people wait in for drinks service was good and my drink came quickly.

A very innovative bubble tea spot. What sets them apart from the rest is their teaspresso machine that extracts and brews the loose-leaf tea fresh per order. The tea had clear and distinct flavours with a full-bodied taste. The server was very patient and took the time to show us the variety of loose-leaf teas they have. I highly recommend!

The drinks were good, but expensive. Paying that much for a drink of that size that I felt like I could get elsewhere made me so guilty about spending my money. The interior looked very clean and nice. The service was the best part. The staff were soooo nice, and the sample we got was delicious. It was mainly the service that got me to actually buy drinks. Still thinking about the price, though.

They are very professional. I have how their tea is made freash to order so there is no premade tea. They have a good variety of options from milk tea to normal teas. As well toppings ofc. The shop very nicely decorated and clean.

A Yelp event last month introduced me to Hana's Tea. Since this first visit, I have returned twice…read morefor more good eats and bubble tea. I will admit that before discovering Hana's Tea, I rarely visited Richmond Hill for bubble tea. I do now! Two of my visits have been after work on a Tuesday. I came here with a friend on a Thursday. You can park on Yonge Street, but parking is limited. There is parking behind Hana's Tea. The sign said that it was by the church. I did the opposite and parked behind McConaghy Centre and walked over. I got the following items as part of the event experience: - Lychee ade - S'mores cookie - Yuzu lemon and tiramisu macarons I love carbonated, fizzy drinks. The fruity ade line screams me. I got the lychee ade with no sugar. As usual, most folks question my choice to go without sugar. I'm used to it. It works for me. The lychee ade was awesome. There were bits of lychee in my drink, which made this drink naturally sweet. It was cold and refreshing to sip. Pure joy! The s'mores cookie had a huge marshmallow in it. I had to get it. It was divine. The toasted marshmallow was so good. The cookie was moist and had the right amount of chocolate to make it taste like s'mores, minus the graham crackers. I'd get it again. The interior is cute and is perfect for taking photos. I used the washroom during my first visit. The decor was lovely. It was clean. No complaints. I got the tiramisu and yuzu lemon macarons for my intern. It was her last day in the office the next day. I normally like to consume macarons before gifting them. I had a good feeling about them here because the filling was abundant and thick. We have similar tastes in everything, so I felt confident about gifting them to her. I paid with a credit card. It also allowed me to tip. Yay! All three visits consisted of my receiving a small bag of candies that had bubble tea in the centre. The next day, I gave her the macarons after we were discussing a work task that she was wrapping up on Wednesday. She was so excited. She ate both of them in a span of a minute. She had the tiramisu first. She said that it was slightly sweet and amazing. She thought that it was her favourite until she had the yuzu lemon. She said that it had lemon peel that made her love this one more. She is a younger version of me when it comes to food. I returned to Hana's Tea two days later. I joined my friend, Sandy, after work on a Thursday. It was her Yelp experience. I came back as a repeat customer. One of the women remembered me. I let her know that I loved everything that I had on Tuesday. I loved everything so much that I was back to order some more, which made her happy. I got these items: - Chicken gyoza - Peach ade - Yuzu lemon and tiramisu macarons The chicken gyoza were delicious. They were crispy on the outside with a thin wrapper on each one. The dipping sauce was perfect. Each gyoza was packed with chicken that was nicely seasoned. Yummy! I loved my peach ade. I got the same question about whether I was sure about going without any sugar. I was fine. It had small bits of peach that I loved. It also had coconut jelly. A large goes for $7, which is a steal. I finally had the macarons. OMG! The tiramisu tasted just like the dessert, but in compact macaron form. It was a touch sweet, but exceptionally yummy. The lemon peel bits in the yuzu lemon were amazing. It was excellent with the perfect amount of lemon brightness. I recently returned to get more macarons, to celebrate my friend's birthday early, who also happens to be my colleague, He had just returned from Paris. I suggested that he get macarons there. He did and loved them. Yep, I got macarons from Hana's Tea. I was hoping that it wasn't a step down from his Paris experience. It wasn't! I got two of each macaron flavour: - Nutella - Crème brûlée - Yuzu lemon The two female staffers recognized me. Yep, I'm becoming a regular. I also got a strawberry coconut refresher. I got it with no sugar and less ice. The female staffer was trying to get me to add sugar. I said that the strawberry syrup was sweet, as was the coconut jelly. End of story. Staff put my macarons in a box. I also got a paper bag to put everything in. It was a nice touch. I thanked them both and headed to my car to drive home. The following day, my friend and I indulged in macarons throughout the workday. We loved all three flavours. The crème brûlée was exceptional. It tasted like custard. I loved the Nutella macaron, which had Nutella filling. It was awesome! I have found a good place that makes yummy fruity ade, gyoza, and macarons. Staff are helpful and nice. I love everything that I have consumed so far, as have my friends. It's a gem of a spot. I will say that this place promptly closes at 9 pm when my friend and I were here on a Thursday. We chatted right up until 9 pm. We got a polite announcement from a staffer that the place was closing. You have been warned! (361)

Cool! I headed over to this TP Tea location in Vaughan. It's in a plaza near Vaughan Mills, with CoCo Fresh Tea & Juice a couple of stores down from this bubble tea joint. Got to love competition! The plaza was busy on a Saturday afternoon. I found a parking spot steps away from this store and backed into it. I walked in. I was the only customer. I saw tiramisu cakes that piqued my interest. I had wanted a fruit tea. There were two men behind the counter. One of them let me know that I could only get a regular drink. All fruit teas were large. Bummer. The regular teas were primarily milk-based. TP Tea doesn't have milk alternatives. I didn't feel like a milky drink. Instead, it was slim pickings with three teas that I could choose from. I got a signature black tea. No sugar and less ice. This regular-sized drink would have been just under $7. I was pleased that I was getting it for free. It took no time for them to make my drink. Their cups aren't transparent, but are sturdy. I thanked both men and headed out with my cold drink. The tea was excellent. It had the perfect strength. The black tea was yummy and made my day. I will return for fruit teas next time. I like large fruit teas a lot more. (251)

The decor is full of colourful lanterns and simple furniture. However, the metal chairs are not comfy at all. That could be changed. The service was quick for lunch. I got the business lunch set which the vermicelli noodle soup came quickly. I wish it was hotter in temperature and that it had more coriander. I also had to ask for the black vinegar to go with it which it should have been given. The spicy sauce was already at the table. The pickled cabbage was a nice crunchy side. The winter melon tea was nice, but not enough tapioca since I paid extra for that. The popcorn chicken was amazing. They nailed that one and also, the deep fried tofu. It reminded me of my trips to Taiwan. The boiled veggies were a nice touch to the meal. To end it off, we shared a hot tofu dessert dish. Overall, it was a great experience. There could be some changes to the restaurant, but I know their focus is on two main traditional Taiwanese dishes.
