Had Kaufman install a rubber roof on our home and new flashings. It was and has been nothing but a…read morenightmare. Huge gaps left where they laid heavy beads of caulking. Some flashings were installed incorrectly resulting in water intrusion. The seams on the rubber were not laid to shed water they were stacked and the rubber was cut short across the entire roof. The drip edge was installed directly against the facia which has resulted in the facia now rotting. When I asked about all of this the owner came out and said as a homeowner it's your responsibility to get on the roof every year and remove and replace caulking. NEVER EVER AGAIN will they get a penny from me. Be very cautious when dealing with this company.

They said they patched it up, but then it leaked the next time it snowed. In the meantime, they gave us a $30,000 estimate to have our entire gutter system, which is only 12 years old, completely replaced. Their estimator is a real bully and a horrible person to interact with. His name is Scott Wehrmeyer. He uses scare tactics, he talks over you, he's impolite, and in our case, he didn't even apologize for the fact that their patch didn't even last one rainstorm. He just used it further evidence that we need to hire them to replace relatively new gutters. He never even got up on the roof to take a look at the gutter system or used a drone to take pictures or anything. He had one guy go up on a ladder in that one spot and take one picture and then say we need the entire system replaced. We eventually got it fixed with a reputable company. We got bids from several other roofing companies. Everyone else laughed at the idea that we would have a 12-year-old custom gutter system torn out and replaced for $30,000. They may have workers that do a good job, but I found Scott to be totally untrustworthy. I have never had to hang up in the middle of a conversation with anyone in my life, but I did with him. If I owned this company, I would not want him representing me. He's a bully, he seems to be lazy, he doesn't listen, he didn't apologize, he just talked right over me and tried to scare me hiring him. Literally the total opposite of what any customer would hope for.
