After a "Geotechnical Survey", "Soil Compaction Analysis, a certified arborist's (Arbor Care) plan, and many thousands of dollars, Arbor Care cut down two 100ft tall trees leaving the stumps and logs to become "Nursery Logs" that protect and nurture new growth. They had been doing a lot of work in our neighborhood in the aftermath of the wind storm of 2024 so we ask them to take out a large tree in our backyard that was leaning toward our neighbor's house. Dorian gave us a quick estimate that was a little lower than we expected/feared and he squeezed us into the schedule to get it done the next day. They are friendly, easy to work with, very careful in their work, and do a great job of cleaning up after the job is done. For the price, we figured they were not grinding the stump based on our experience with other services, but they spent quite a bit of time grinding down the stump and a lot of the big roots that ran out from it.
