My wife and I had a five pieces of antique French Provencal and Mid Century furniture that we…read morewanted restored by an upholsterer with very high standards and an excellent record of exceptional work. We spent weeks looking all around metro Detroit for the rignt upholsterer for this work. From the moment I met Tony (the owner), I had a.strong feeling that I had found the right person to oversee and complete this work to my specifications. Tony spent time discussing the scope of the work to be done and examined each piece carefully. I explained that the furniture contained a system of hand tied springs in the foundation, cushions and back and that I wanted the furniture restored with the spring systems included. Many upholstery places no longer work with spring systems and prefer to refurbish furnitire by removimg the springs and using firm foam instead. However, I wanted the unique feel of the spring systems (as well as the durability of the spring systems, which usually last much longer than foam alone) in the refurbished pieces. Tony listened to my requests, examined the furniture and came up with a detailed plan for restoring the furnitire. He gave me an honest assessment of the work to be done and quoted a price for the work, including material costs. Tony consulted with me all through the process because he clearly cared about the outcome of his work. It was wonderful and extremely gratifying to work with a true artisan and expert in his field. Absolutely nothing was left to chance, which I appreciated because I can be a difficult customer to please. During the process there were some changes to the plan that arose, including the need to completely refinish the woodwork on the French Provencal pieces. Tony cared enough about the outcome of this project to make sure this work was done to perfection at an affordable price. My wife and I were truly stunned at the finished quality of the work when Tony delivered our finished pieces. They look and feel incredible. I would recommend Tony and his remarkable craftsmen enthusiastically and without reservation. This high level of service and quality work is increasingly rare today. I am very happy to have found Tony and hope to work with him again in the near future.

Plus ask them to replace a battery cable and give me an estimate to repair frame. I was assured that my Jeep would be in good hands. I week later I get a call okay the repairs you ask us to do will be 950.00 and they would call me if it went up and where does the frame need to be fixed we cant find anything. So I tell them where to look and they call me an hour later to tell me That my jeep is unsafe and to junk it. That they will take it. I said NO My husband will be down tomorrow so you can show him what you are talking about " I have had other Jeep people look at my frame and was told this can be repaired "I repaired it on mine " So husband goes down looks at frame it is the same hole" Not gotten worst" Ask them if they want the job to do other stuff we will have frame done somewhere else They say ya sure but really you need to junk this. 1 week later get a call jeep done but the drivers door not shutting right do you want us to fix I said no we have the part we will do" The latch had been tact welded and it was loose But door did still latch" Get there to pick up The door latch has been totally broken Most likely by them slamming the door Hard So we try to talk with Don and he says I would have fixed it but now I am not gonna I don't like your attitude. Also my bill was 1500.00 They did not call me once to tell me that my bill was higher. They also charged me to fix the door that they refused to fix

We were refered to these guys. Brad and I were running errands and popped in. Upon arrival It looked like what I grew up with a regular Mom and Pops business. There was the owner Bill, another worker, and a woman working on upohlstery. He took a look at the window. He informed us that the window was not original to the car and was made by some foreign entity that supplies very cheap and usually poor fitting ready made windshields. Anyway, because of this windshields poor quality water was getting into the not tight enough seals and creating rust and blah blah blah... So It came down to getting a new windshield or popping it out a bit and re-caulking it. We opted for the re-caulking because we are going to trade this damned thing in in a few months anyway where it can then move on in life as someones high school heap of junk or something to that effect. What impressed me about this place was that as we were waiting for the caulking to be finished the owner was very nice and talkative and very informative. Brad asked how long one of the Classic cars was...He wasn't sure so this set us off on measuring both the classic cars lenghts. Thank god because I hate being Idle and get bored quick! I also learned about some classic car facts and was amused that he looked like my fathers twin...really bizarre even the mannerisms were similar. The time flew and before we knew it the job was done and we were heading home. I highly suggest this place!
