From what I know of the fabulous Miss. Sixty jeans and their hefty price tag, I wasn't too surprised to see that most items in Miss.Sixty are pricey. That being said, most of the items are totally worthy of the price tag! I had forgotten how original in design and incredibly interesting Miss.Sixty apparel was, being that the last time I had been in an actual Miss.Sixty store was in the UK many moons ago. The clothing here is meant for the man or woman who wants to stand out and make a statement, both with their clothing and their personality. These intricate designs, shiny fabrics, bold accessories and, of course, fab jeans, are not for the weak of heart and I love it! It is very reminiscent of the verve and vitality of European apparel and attitude. Another reason to adore this shop? The staff! Not one, not two, not three, but four separate staff members made a considerable effort (without being irritating) to assist me in finding what I wanted or just offering up suggestions. Sales people are not hard to come by, but great sales people are and Miss.Sixty on Robson has snatched up a good few of them. I suspect if I worked here, amongst these exciting clothes, that I too would be enjoying my work and wanting to spread the word to the customers!

The store is neatly laid out and much smaller than the location on Granville but the displays are well organized and the merchandise can easily be seen. I had walked in after my wife and I was standing around actually adding the business listing in the store while she was speaking to the staff. I already knew there wasn't a listing because the other store didn't have one either. Again my wife seemed to be interested in the leggings. The cashmere she sampled again getting a good chance to feel it she said it was good quality. Again, I'll defer to her knowledge on the subject as she knows clothes very well. The customer service and attention is very helpful and not at all at either store at any time did we feel neglected or ignored. I was also asked if I had been helped and I had said I was with my wife who was already speaking with an employee. The staff at both locations seemed helpful, patient, attentive and very knowledgeable about their products. The prices for the quality of their products is very reasonable. Cashmere is an expensive product but this is not cheap quality products being sold here.

I asked how much and told her I would think about it, but I knew instantly I would buy it for her as one of her Xmas presents. I then proceeded to talk the bag down "it's all white your going to get it dirty, not practical" which was true but you really can't put a price on total absolute adorable. The next day I called Kate spade pacific center, sold out:( The sales lady checked the computer and Park Royal had 2 :) I called them immediately and gave my credit card and they shipped it to me free ! So happy !!! I saw online they had the matching key knob, but I've called everywhere and it's sold out everywhere. I checked online and nope everything including the bag is sold out. The bag I bought is sold out everywhere and is now selling for over $1000 USD online. I should have bought them both...dam ! I went on Black Friday with a girl friend and they were having 30 % off the entire store !!**!!** I mentioned that I bought a bag from them about a week ago and was wondering if I could get the Black Friday 30% off, they checked the computer and had record of my purchase and refunded me 30% which was $170 something. Yay!!! So so haPpy!!! With the $170 I saved I used towards purchasing ear muffs, coffee tumbler, and a crystal bunny key chain as stalking stuffers for my daughter. The store is adorable, I was so tempted to buy a coat for myself but it was pink and I do not wear pink, but the style was amazing as I have a thing for three quarter length sleeves. The stuff here is desiner obviously so it is expensive, however, for small items it's worth it. i came here when they had a sale whcih was reasonable. Customer service was super friendly and helpful. The layout was easy to navigate. Being a high end store they will have an eye on you at the store.

There are two girls there that are suuuper nice and let you browse without bothering you (but actually DO help you when you need it). There is one girl, though, that is really rude. I don't think I'm a big enough hipster to be deemed worthy of her acknowledgement. I've even seen her across the street smoking, and she still gave me a glare. Oh well.

Quorum, absolutely no problem. Took there time to walk us through the process, select the fabrics (yes you get to choose your lining and what you would like monogrammed in it) and come back for the first fitting when it came back from Italy. Absolutely gorgeous. Worth every cent.

An authentically unique Vancouver place --…read more I've lamented the decline of Kitsilano over the years, especially in the Broadway area, as niche shops and folksy hangouts disappear and nail salons and ramen take up the space . . . not that I mind having my nails done, or a decent bowl of the noodles, but they're multiplying rapidly. Black Swan Records, Yoka's coffee ... so many wonderful shops, with the personal touch of expertise and distinctive taste, have gone away . . . Celtic Traditions, formerly Celtic Woolens, still stands -- and the neighbourhood is all the better for it. Run by the husband and wife team of Michael and Lynn, this establishment has survived the frenzy of 'Lord of the Dance' faddishness by providing quality, authentic items from the isles. This is not some twee token shop of plastic Guinness magnets and 'Irish Only' parking signs -- they carry unbelievably beautiful knits from regions of Wales, Scotland, and Ireland: knitters can delight in the patterns and styles, and true appreciators of old world drop spindles and soft wearing jumpers will find some really exquisite pieces. Michael does not carry the usual whack of oatmeal coloured Aran cardigans that are so common to shops that carry Irish clothing. These are artisan level designs that he has personally sought out from the Shetlands down to Clare in selecting the most distinctive and gorgeous designs. He also carries excellent jewellery from the great line of St Justin's, who make amazing pieces based on artefacts found in passage tombs and so forth from pagan era Ireland and Cornwall. Also worth noting is the top notch music school they have in the store: harp, fiddle, bodhrán, voice, concertina . . . taught by session players with real expertise in folk music. THere's nothing else like it in Vancouver, and we're very fortunate that they're here. A truly distinctive shop that deserves our patronage.
