History
Established in 2014.
Your Care (South West) Ltd was founded in 2014 by Tina, who saw first-hand how rushed and impersonal traditional home care could be, especially for those living with dementia. She wanted to create something different: a service built on real relationships, consistency, and care that truly puts people first.
In 2016, Tina’s daughter Claire joined the business, bringing fresh energy and helping to grow the service while staying true to its original values. Together, they’ve created a family-run team that supports people to live well at home with dementia, offering trusted, one-to-one care that is shaped around each individual.
From day one, Your Care has grown through word of mouth and local reputation, supporting families across Bristol and South Gloucestershire with flexible, compassionate home support they can rely on.
Meet the Business Owner: Tina W.
I started 'Your Care' after working in the care industry and witnessing first hand the crisis that is now becoming apparent in home care. I felt that clients were not getting a very good service, that the care was continually rushed, of poor quality and sometimes by carers that had little or no experience and had no interest in the client they were dealing with.
I decided there must be a better way to offer quality support to clients at an affordable price, and so, 'Your Care Home Support Services' was born.
We offer a service whereby we work closely with clients to match an assistant that meets their needs and preferences. The client receives visits from the same assistant(s) which helps build a bond and ensures continuity of support.
I am fully involved in the running of the business and offer a very personal service to all of our clients and assistants. We keep in regular contact to ensure all parties are happy.
