I said we were there looking for Prime. The lady then pointed and said, "They're right here." I acknowledged her, and let her know my son was just looking. she became very nasty with me, told me that it was all "right here" and that she couldn't sell me the Prime Energy. I said, "he's just looking and it's okay. and I'm an adult, I can buy what I want." She replied with, "Well most parents don't let their children have Prime Energy." A very rude and pushy older gentleman at the cash register tried to coerce me into buying a…read morechewable calcium supplement (I was there buying something totally unrelated) that I had taken a free sample that he had offered me even though I told him I already had a calcium supplement that worked just fine for me (not that that made him relent) and then tried to goad me into signing up for a GNC card by lying to me and telling me that it was "mandatory" that I give him my email and got upset and yelled at me when I said I didn't want to, I just wanted to buy for my supplement and be on my way. He finally relented when I told him I thought he was lying about having to give my email address in order to make the purchase (and no, not even for any kind of discount. He was telling me that I just had to sign up for a card and HAD to give him my email address just to make the purchase). Never shop at a place where management (this gentleman seemed to be in some kind of franchisee/owner/management position) is unappreciative of your business to the point where they try to FORCE you into buying even more. Is it not good enough for you that I'm willingly buying something from your store in the first place that you feel the need to lie to me and yell at me to bump my bill up even more? You may get an extra few dollars in the short term (except he didn't) at the expense of ALL of my future business in the long run. I don't understand how some people who fail to understand such basic tenets of customer relations are still in business.
