I was started on a new medication and wanted to try this pharmacy as it was 2 miles from my house. I had the worst experience ever! I have never been discriminated against and outright denied having my medication refilled and told I need to go to another pharmacy. When I asked the reason why I had to have my prescription filled elsewhere the pharmacist Mr. Manna told me it was because I didn't get other medications filled there. I am fortunate that I don't take any other prescription medications but this one. I told the pharmacist this and he simply discriminated me and told me he would not refill my medication in the future. This is completely unacceptable! read more

Very impressive! Have only been in here once, to pick up a prescription called in from the urgent care center, Family Immediate Care, in the same shopping center. Was impressed that they were able to look up my insurance information without even getting my insurance/prescription card. I looked around for about 5 minutes while they filled the prescription and saw a lot of homeopathic meds and essential oils, things that I use and thrive on. I also asked them about other medications that other chain pharmacies had trouble getting and they indicated they wouldn't have a problem in getting it for me when needed for a trip. I'm highly impressed and the pharmacists seem to have a much better grasp on questions as a whole. They were friendly, helpful and super quick in filling my prescription. I will be coming back more often when I need a prescription, even if its a little out of my way. Highly recommend! read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I went there to get tested for Covid and paid $150... I got the 2hour PCR test. When I received my exam he put just the tip around the hole of my nostril and I asked why he wasn't going into my nose and he said the test is sooo accurate he doesn't need to. I got a negative results and was surprised because I got into contact with someone that had Covid and had 101.7 fever and felt like I got hit by a car. I went to another testing location right after I got my negative results and that facility said I tested positive. What a waste of money and EXTREMELY dangerous to not provide a proper exam. I was a little confused about an apparent inconsistency between the address given for this store and the address given by Fairfax County Government for the COVID vaccination point, same name. They were different street numbers. When I called the store for clarification whoever answered the phone was extremely rude, complained that everyone is calling them asking the same question, and made an ass of himself instead of taking less than five seconds to tell me, a stranger just asking a simple question, where the vaccination point really is. I appreciate that they are doing Covid vaccines now, but I don't appreciate being made to feel that providing info about my prescription insurance is part of the process for getting a vaccine. When I signed in for my vaccine appointment, the registrar repeatedly asked me for my prescription (not medical) insurance information and when I didn't provide it, then gave me a sticky note with an email address where I "should" send my info. I get that the pharmacy wants to get prescription info, but don't appreciate the aggressive and unnecessary tactic during a pandemic. I recognized that it was b.s. to ask for this info but many people might not and they are providing data to the pharmacy that is completely unnecessary. read more

These people are SO helpful! We were in need of a walker with special needs to accommodate other disabilities. They listened to our situation and explained our options clearly. They spent 10 minutes putting a special attachment on a walker for us to see if it would work well. It worked great, and then they gave us a discount so we didn't have to detach and re-attach the device to our own walker (they said it was a real pain to do). All of this even though partway through we realized we might not be able to buy it (insurance issues). I know I write long reviews however reading this one will save you more time and frustration that you will ever know so please give it a chance. Never did I think I would be writing a review for a pharmacy, however it would be an absolute injustice if I did not let the rest of the community know that this pharmacy redefines the Pharmacy business. Why, because "My Dr's Pharmacy" which is the name of the Pharmacy immediately acknowledges I've entered the store and because the entire staff knows my name and says hello Mr..... how are you feeling EVERY time I walk through the door and because they know my medications, my doctors, my date of birth etc., ask about my progress and are ready to offer any and all assistance possible to make my short stay a memorable one; I am compelled to write this review. I say short because they work hard, fast and are consistent and my stays are not long awaited stays an I don't EVER get the typical pharmacy statement of "Come back in 2 Hours". I don't receive inaccurate medications or inaccurate dosages or any issues whatsoever. A pharmacy that is not only run as a business, however is run as if you were part of their Family is simply unheard of in my experience with exception of a few in other geographical areas. I look forward to seeing these wonderful people because when you don't feel well and my chronic pain is a great example of that, there is no better medicine than knowing people care and if you leave this pharmacy not feeling like that you most likely went to the wrong pharmacy. Finally, because they carry a lot of products other pharmacies do not and it they don't have it in stock they have always had it for me the very next day. Not a week, not a few days, one day later. They even help me carry items to my car if I am using my walker or cane and are happy to do so. Very few times and certainly not at a pharmacy have I been offered help getting the items I purchased to my car. In conclusion, thus is a huge, long overdue change to the pharmacy industry where if I go to most any other pharmacy, not all I want to be fair, the experience I have at those other pharmacies is the exact opposite of My Dr.'s Pharmacy. Do yourself a favor and be treated with compassion, care, respect and with more service than you expected walking in the front door and look for pharmacy's like My Dr's Pharmacy. Certainly if you live in the Reston, Herndon and surrounding areas "My Dr's Pharmacy" is the best pharmacy I can recommend for the above reasons based on my experience. read more
