I spent 40 minutes trying to get him all the information/receipt numbers, etc., that he needed to pull up the receipt in his system. Finally he found the receipt and printed it out. He still said he couldn't give credit for the exchange and I told him to split the transaction and make it a straight return and I would purchase the replacement items on another credit card as a straight sale. Then his system locked up and he had to ring up the transaction all over again. I told him how needlessly frustrating the experience was and he refused to finish the transaction and told me to leave the store. He told me how HE had been patient with me. (What a joke). He wouldn't give me the receipt he was holding in his hand or tell me his name. Well done Vitamin Shoppe. You lost a customer for life. As a (formerly) longtime customer who went to this store in the middle of the pandemic, in spite of the Covid-19 health risks, I don't appreciate inconsiderate and disrespectful sales people.
