I paid this law firm approximately $6000 for what. This was a flat rate fee. I also asked for a break down on each charge for the money I gave them. I was told to go to the docket on items filed. But there is only an amount of $400 showing out on the docket. I have had 4 attorneys on this Probate Case within this firm Your Jacksonville Lawyer. I was only notified by mail my first attorney was leaving the firm a week after she became my attorney. I was never advised by mail, email or phone call of my new attorney each time one left. I was informed when I walked into the office to give them some more paperwork that I received and also some that they requested from me. It took them more than there required time to call me back according to there recording states within 48 hours. And it was always someone in the office other than my attorney calling me back. Also the Office Manager (M.O.J.) stated that if I do not take down the Review that I did of my experiences/facts on there services that he would not file the paperwork that was signed by myself and mother. To me this is a threat. I stated to him( M.O.J.) office manager with Your Jacksonville Lawyer that I will not argue with him and that a promise was made with Attorney G.N. not to argue and sign the documentations that we discussed and leave. I also stated to him (M.O.J. office manager) if I take the Review down off there website and the case is closed I would put the review back up and my experience and facts that happened to me from this firm(Your Jacksonville Lawyer). To me this is my right to do a review on my experience and facts with this firm. Freedom of Speech is my right also. This officer manager still wanted to be argumentative with the issues of the review and I made a promise to Attorney G.N. that I would not argue with his staff but his office manager (M.O.J. ) wanted to argue with me. Myself and my mother was supposed to be in the office a total of 5 minutes to sign the documents requested. We were there approximate 30 minutes. I went to pickup all my original documents that I took to them and was only given 7 pieces back and attorney G.N. Wanted me to sign if I was satisfied with there services. If I didn't I would not get my original paperwork. To me that is a threat and a con to get a satisfactory service result. So I am denying that signature due to he tricked me into signing it that was not true. Mr. G.N said to me that all my paperwork was given back to me each time I brought it in. LIES. Also he said that the reason I had different attorneys was that they did not want to deal with me. Well I know why they left this firm. Also G.N. Was scared of me,he kept backing up away from me like I was going to hurt him. And when I mentioned to him about his office manager he wanted to have him come out to talk to me, and he still had my paperwork. I said I don't want to talk to him so I started to walk out and mr g.n.still had my paperwork that I signed for and I pulled my phone out to make a call and then he decided to give me paperwork. ********** He also stated that if I put anything about this firm I would be committing fraud. And he would file a lawsuit against me. ********** Well according to my RIGHTS OF FREEDOM OF SPEECH this is not fraud by making my experience with this law firm public. read more

This has been a terrible time for both my children and me. It was just not working out with my wife and a change was going to be needed. I really dreaded the idea of seeing a lawyer because I had never been to one before. I thought that wouldn't understand what was going on and that it was going to take forever to see any progress. I was also worried about the fate of my two children that are very important to both my wife and me. I wanted to make sure that their needs were taken care and I didn't want all the legal issues to leave them in the dirt. I am very happy with our bankruptcy results. My wife and I were both laid off bc of the coVID-1. We lived off our savings as long ag we could. It finally got to much for us. We had one bill collector told us to sell our home to pay their bill. We had a friend recommend us to the firm. He had filed bankruptcy with them before us. The lawyer explained there were different kinds of bankruptcy - this was very helpful bc we didn't know. Based on our income we were able to file a chapter 7 which made our bills go away. The court officer scheduled a phone conference with us to review our banktcy paperwork We were afraid she was going to try to trip us up which is kind of there job. Even though our lawyer didn't have to help us with the phone call she did. We had a also court appearance where we were asked more questions. Our attorney was there for us the whole time. Finally after waiting our bankruptcy was over. We are looking forward to a fresh start - the lawyer told us we would be clean as a fresh new baby. I entered into an…read moreagreement with him on 8-19-2022 to represent me in a divorce proceeding and gave him an initial check for $5000.00 that would cover us through mediation. Nineteen days later, 9-07-22, wife not served yet and he already needs another $507.00 for additional funding, whatever that is. This should have been a trigger to me. I told him before the agreement that serving my wife may be a little difficult because she is not likely to open the door if she doesn't know who is calling. He responded saying "don't worry, not a problem, we have other means". On November 30, an additional 84 days later, he told me he was having her served by the police and he was paying the police $40 "OUT OF HIS OWN POCKET". Wait a minute, what happened to the $5500 I gave you? Finally, after 6 months and a number of phone calls later, she still had not been served. I then made the decision to fire Bozo Beckus.
