These guys are new to our Tesla HQ. $3 taco - size for ants. The chicken teriyaki is basically frozen chicken breast meat reheated and they tossed bbq sauce on top of it. The chicken is barely even warm. This is very underwhelming.

Spotted this food truck yesterday at Fremont Street Eats and decided to give this a try. I find the prices of their food here to be overpriced and the portions here are small. I decided to order the spicy beef tacos and pork lumpia. The tacos cost $3 each. Three of their tacos is a full meal. I only ordered 2. I asked how spicy their beef tacos were and they said they were mild spicy. I thought the tacos tasted flavorful despite being small and they were not that spicy at all. There was a little kick of spiciness. The pork lumpia was good. They were not too oily. They only give you 6 pieces for $5. Overall, the food was good but wished the portions were bigger for the price.

Pretty big fan of these folks. I typically order the spicy beef tacos and the pork lumpia. The food is pretty consistent but just a bit expensive (like many food trucks seem to be). The staff is great though and it's almost worth eating there just to see them. I eat Yummy about once or twice a month.

This food truck is a staple at the Fremont Street eats every Friday. We tried it before and this time tried the beef short ribs, I have to say they were pretty yummy! The ribs were cooked to perfection and the rice and lettuce accompanying it was very perfectly matched. I suggest you try this location out for the yummy food.

Took 20 mins to order(3 to 4 people ahead of me) to get a microwaved dollar tree salad type dried out teriyaki chicken and rice bowl for a whopping 11 bucks. If I see this truck at my work again I'm running for the microwaved hot pockets that are frozen that have more flavor. Thank you for listening to my rant about this spot. Sounds harsh? Don't feed an actual chef xD

Went to Bishop Ranch in San Ramon, this is one of the first food trucks I've been when the food trucks were popular years ago. They were nice then as they are now. Their menu is not overwhelming and they have pictures of the food so you can see what they look like. There are a lot of trucks that serve this kind of Bbq, I like Yummi because they keep it simple and not too fancy on the menu.

As food trucks go I guess the level of standard isn't as good in Concord as it is in the City. Granted I didn't have to pay for the food as it was covered by my work but the truck was there and they get probably $6.50-7 a person they serve since that's what we get per diem in our cafeteria. The cafeteria is closed for remodel so they get food trucks instead. I got the sweet and spicy short ribs and they were ok. Meat was tough and the portion was small. 2 pieces of the 3 rib short ribs. I can make a better Korean short rib at home buying the meat from 99 ranch and marinating it in the korean bbq sauce. When I can out cook a place with minimal effort, you know its not a good thing. Flavor was okay but nothing to write home about. At least they got my order up fast. Took only 2 or 3 mins. Even for free I would rather just skip this place next time it comes to the office.

The braided pork. Not like their picture. =(

Ordered a moco loco and they served up a leftover, overcooked, dry, crunchy-edged patty. I was expecting fresh food. Threw half of it away.

Spicy beer tacos are solid. Order 4-5 if you are hungry, size is a bit small but worth it.

Located on Monument Blvd, close to a gas station, it was poppin. There was a small wait, with some music coming from the taco truck, so the wait didn't feel long at all Bad news was they ran out of the Ramen Birria (which I was excited for), so I went for other options. Regardless of a New Mexican spot I try, tacos are a must. I got shrimp and asada tacos. I also went a bit different and tried out their seafood cocktail. Tacos: double tortilla, warm and spicy Same applied to the cocktail: it was very spicy. I couldn't finish it there, but took it home to consume later. Eating and chatting with my friends in the car, we all enjoyed the spot and are willing to give it another visit if possible. I might have to come earlier to get that Ramen birria

I've been looking for a new local taco truck to hit since the Los Rancheros truck cut their hours (they ain't even open on taco Tuesday anymore!! Wtf?). I've been passing by it for at least a month now. Finally stopped by on none other than taco Tuesday to get my taco fix! The gentleman who was working the truck was real cool (can't remember his name). He told me that they just opened up their taqueria around the corner, but the truck will be parked there from 5p-12a everyday. SCORE! Late night street taco fix for the win!!! They had a taco Tuesday special going on: 5 tacos for $10. It's cash only but still a great deal! They also make quesadillas and a few other items too. The tacos are friggin' HUGE! At first I was thinking, 5 street tacos?! Naaaw, I'mma need me about 10 of 'em. But once I felt that heavy plate in my hands, I knew I wasn't gonna be able to finish it. Fully LOADED! He packed these damn tacos up with meat for dear life. Made it all purdy by adding those lovable grilled onions, green peppers, and limes. I ordered two chicken, two steak, and one pastor. The steak were clearly the best. It was marinated extremely well and retained the most flavor out of them all. The al pastor was also pretty good. The chicken was on the drier side and didn't have much flavor. I'd skip the chicken next time. Also, they could have used a lot more salsa. I'm not used to street tacos being packed with this much meat, but maybe that's why they seemed to lack a bit of flavor. It just needed a bit more flavor and a little more of a kick. Some spicy salsa would probably do the trick. Other than that, the tacos were pretty good and cheap at $2 a piece on Tuesday. Not sure how much they're regularly priced, but their taco Tuesday is an excellent deal. I'm excited to try their actual taqueria soon too. I can foresee many more visits to this truck in the future. Next time, I'll be trying out their quesadillas.

The salad was ok as well, but I didn't like all of the cheese on top and the dressing was freshly made. I like melted cheese and for it to be melted, it needs to be hot. I could have had a little less on my salad because I was eating it for the veggies. I got an arepa - the pork belly one and it was okay as well. The beans were a touch cold, not an issue, and the avocado was fresh and tasted good. I don't like tomatoes, but the slices were thick and juicy. My husband enjoyed them. My thing is that there was no "WOW" factor with this meal. It was good and did its job (filled me up0, and I was safe (didn't get sick), but it's not the kind of place that I'd make a special trip to see. The place was fine, the people working there were nice, but I don't know if a return visit is warranted.

They recommended the pork belly arepa ($17) but I am no longer enjoying the fatty and crisp textures of pork belly, so I asked the lady who'd confidently ordered just before me for her recommendation. "Get the cheese cachapa, it's delicious and filling," she said. So I did, but I got one with shredded beef instead of cheese-only ($15). My cachapa - a Venezuelan sweet corn pancake filled with melted cheese - took about 10 mins to prepare, and it was thick and huuuuge! I changed my mind about eating it al fresco at one of the tables near the food truck, and took it back to the office instead. Back at the office, I ate the cachapa slowly, with the plastic fork and knife they'd thoughtfully provided. There wasn't much beef in it, and it was crisp, sweet and verrrrry filling. I made myself some coffee to sidestep the food coma that was sure to follow, and got back to work! Will return to try other items when they're back.
