From the moment I walked in the woman there (I can only assume it was the owner) acted as if I was inconveniencing her; no one else was there. She didn't say hello or ask how she could help, she just looked at me. I had several items with me and said that I needed to have them altered - she just kept staring at me. So, I pulled out the most complicated one and asked if she could add some sleeves to a dress. She said "You want to add sleeves to that dress?!" I said "Yes, is that something you can do?" She simply looked at me with disgust and said "No." That was it. She never touched the dress or asked me if she could help in any other way - just "No." I was a bit dumbfounded as I never expected anyone to be so brusk and short like that. I thanked her and said I would need to find someone else, she shrugged her shoulders and she walked away to the back before I even had my items gathered up off the counter.
