I didn't even hire him but unfortunately my main attorney (James cook) gave my case over to him because I "needed a litigation attorney. Ever since day 1 I had a bad feeling about him and I was right he will STEAL from you & lie to your face then play stupid and blame his assistant. He had a lot of different assistants throughout my case he can't even keep his employees. If your thinking of hiring him DONT. Oh and his a coward he won't even face you lol I went to get my settlement and he sent his assistant TWICE. He will also try to not pay your medical providers to get more money in his pockets then when you sign he states on there that if he didn't pay the medical providers is because you told him not to when that's not the case. CAUTION DON'T GO HERE!! This is the most unprofessional law firm I have ever dealt with!! I came to Zacher law firm with a case of a rear ending in a drive thru of a local hamburger place. The girl admitted fault, stating ... "She accidentally hit the gas Instead of the break!" Leaving me with $18,000 worth of medical bills and a lot of pain and suffering. Zacher law firm came back to me at the end of the case and said that Traveler insurance would only pay not even $3,000 of the bill! And because the damage substaned to my vehicle was not enough to total my car "minimal damage". Chris Zacher refused to fight back. Immediately exceped defeat! On top of that his staff is VERY RUDE and unprofessional. They will push you for a 5 star rating right away before they've even started your case! ( Now I know why!) Justine Dudash a paralegal there, along with the other staff members will treat you like you are a nucince when you call with questions. Once you can actually get them on the phone. When I say Chris, Tammy, and whole Zachar firm are like family... I mean it. I'm 5 years, I've been in 3 not-at-fault accidents. (Thanks Phoenix for being one of the top red light running cities ‍) I've turned to Chris in all 3. I trust him with every aspect of my life after the accidents happen. Tammy is one of the most amazing women I've ever met. I think she knows me too well by now. They aren't just interested in your money but in YOU! How YOU are doing, if YOU are ok, what YOU deserve. Do not hire Kim under any circumstances. He will screw you. I had an open and shut dismissal case he botched, trying to negotiate with not knowing a Damn thing. he had 4 months to get educated. To start, he told me several times, via email, to be at court at 10:30. I show up at 10:30 to find a warrant out because court was at 9am. That is just the beginning. They guy did not know a single thing about my case but n the day of court. The guy was a disaster. There weee many other issues he did or I should say, did not do plus I told him I need to speak and the dumb ass stood there, wouldnt say anything to the fudge or speak up. He works for me but apparently I work for him. He does nothing, literally nothing but makes things really bad for you. Kim himself should not be an attorney or hold an attorneys license. Though there are many negative reviews on Zachar Law Firm's work, I wish I had read a review like the one I'm about to write, before I agreed to work with Chris Zachar. I received over 50K less than what what Chris Zachar told me, during mediation. He denied that he told me, but I had proof that he did. RECORD AND VERIFY ALL CONTACT WITH THIS OFFICE!! Working with Zachar Law Firm was not my first choice. I sought the representation of Benjamin Taylor. But Taylor felt he needed Zachar's help with my case. Working with both attorneys, I made the mistake of categorizing Zachar's inconsistencies and failures as just incompetence. I thought, working with two attorneys would offset the weaknesses of one. That was my mistake. I have worked in the insurance industry for almost 8 years. The more I met with Chris Zachar, the more I realized how he exaggerates the power of insurance companies, especially after the insurance company has assumed 100% liability. It appeared he valued hyperbole and tropes over substance and accuracy. For example, I made many attempts to get a numeric assessment of my case from this office. It is common practice that when an attorney submits a Demand Letter to the insurance company, the insurance company will disclose policy limits along with other information pertaining to the claim. Zachar admitted to the State Bar he did not provide me a numeric assessment until days before the Mediation, because of discovery. Any attorney worth his salt, especially with decades of experience, would submit a Demand Letter before agreeing to Mediation. Why would an attorney wait days before mediation before disclosing a numeric value of his client's case to the client? During Mediation, I asked Chris Zachar for an estimate net amount - given the current lien reductions and the most recent offer from the insurance company. What he told me was not accurate. I protested to Zachar and Taylor, when they offered the lower amount. I reminded them of the discussion during Mediation. I requested documents to support Zachar's calculation. I asked Zachar to stand by his calculation that he gave me during the Mediation, because his calculation is why I settled. He did not honor his work. Zachar Law Firm refused to send documents from all lienholders. The attorney's invoice is not the same as lien reduction correspondence. Without all correspondence from all lienholders, I was unable to justify the discrepancy between what Zachar projected and what I actually received. Benjamin Taylor's advice to me was to overlook the mistake and cash the check. Knowing there are no mere coincidences in Law and Insurance, I reported the two attorneys to the State Bar of Arizona. Both attorneys told the State Bar that they did not recall Zachar giving an estimate during Mediation, I suppose they were unaware that I had recorded the proceedings. When I submitted the video of Zachar calculating an estimate at my request, the Bar conducted a follow up inquiry. According to the State Bar's report, Chris Zachar told them that he did not know what numbers he used to provide the estimate. (It may not be unethical, but my experience with Zachar and Taylor does not meet high caliber professionalism). The State Bar's inquiry did get some answers to what was going on, it was not enough to convince an attorney to pursue Legal Malpractice against Zachar and Taylor. Despite having a video of the mediation and my attorney going through the theatrics of calculating numbers for his client, some attorneys said that I may have a case, but the value was not enough to pursue a lawsuit. So again, there are no mere coincidences in Law and Insurance claims. I recommend you find an attorney who yield high quality work and who stands by his professional results, especially when it comes to money. Zachar Law Firm was not that for me. read more

Zacher law group is fantastic. My case was originally taken by Rafi Law which was a total disaster. Rafi Law did not care to help me or my case in anyway and when I was so fed up I threatened to move my case to another attorney, Zacher Law picked up my case. Perfect timing and Zacher Law was very honest and upfront from the beginning. They also were great at keeping me informed on the entire process. After 10 months Suzie Zachar Irwin and Christine Maddux accomplished nothing regarding getting my dog attack case to a final resolution. All they managed to do was get the medical Bill's and medical records together and then Suzie just wanted to send a quickly thrown together demand to the insurance company. This thrown together demand did not include pertinent information and even had incorrect information as far as injuries. She did not include loss of wages, pain and suffering and so on. I had to fight to get that added. She tried to low ball the demand amount to an amount that was way less than my loss of wages and medical Bill's in an attempt to get a quick settlement offer which would have given me maybe $2,000 and my lost wages were $6,000 and medical Bill's were $6,000 as well and it took 7 months for me to fully recover from my injuries. She finally added the lost wages to the demand and then wanted me to unnecessarily go she a neurologist she recommended and pay for it with cash myself in an attempt to unnecessarily increase the amount of the medical Bill's and drag out any settlement closer to the statue of limitations date. She finally sent the poorly drafted demand letter to the insurance company and it was denied (which is what insurance companies do) and when I inquired about how poorly written the demand letter was I was told "most likely they wont read it anyway". She then adjusted the demand letter and sent it back to them and again it was denied so it looked like we were headed to court and I was told I was told they were waiting until just before the statute of limitations runs out before they would go to court. I advised them that I wanted to go to court since the insurance company is being stupid and the statue of limitations was coming up. Everytime I turned around I was having to do research for them, find case law and correct false and inaccurate information for them when they already had the correct information which I sent them months earlier. At that point i realized they did not have my best interest in mind and definitely did not have any reasonable settlement in mind at all. She appeared to be intimidated by the claims adjuster and the adjuster appeared to be making decisions for her. She equally appeared to be scared to go into a court room. I then began looking at other law firms because she was intentionally getting nowhere. Shortly after i contacted another law firm to get another opinion i got an email from Mayra a paralegal signed by Suzie Irwin stating the do not wish to proceed further with the case. Only 2 months away from the Statute of limitations expiring she backed out when she couldn't get a quick low ball settlement and was looking at going into the court room. I can not recommend Zachar Law Firm nor their affiliated firms at all. She definitely hurt my case more than she helped it and abandoned her so called client. read more

I read the other 1-star reviews before posting my own, and they must not be talking about the same firm. Chris has to be the best attorney in Arizona! Simply amazing! I can't say enough good things about him. I was in an accident before and went to a different firm and had a horrible experience! I never felt important and I got next to nothing on my settlement. (Oh, and they still took their FULL FEE!) Chris and his staff cared about me, and I was in a much smaller accident compared to my first. I got 10x better service and more money in the end on my "small" case than my previous accident because he actually worked on my case. I was a real person to them, not a number, and I still have Chris's direct email that he answers. I couldn't read these others reviews and not stick up for him. read more

What a joke! Suzie and Mayra are inept and full of excuses. Shoot 1 star is too many, but had to choose something. I regret choosing this law firm. Email communication is useless as neither reads them. Then they tell you something and do something else. Or do nothing at all. Took over 8 months to settle a small accident claim. RIDICULOUS!! They actually did zero work until 3 months after I ended treatment. Zero communication until I would ask, then excuse after excuse. It's like they don't care. Heck, they get paid when I do. I wish I would've read these reviews sooner before I signed on the dotted line. Of course they wanted you to sign the contract pretty quick as soon as you contacted them. This firm promised a lot and did not deliver. Over a year of negotiations and got a pittance. The original paralegal that was working on my case never returned my calls in a timely manner, sometimes up to a week. Then when my case was transferred to the next paralegal she was better with correspondence but at that point the negotiations and went on so long I guess she couldn't recover even though she was a better paralegal.This was a very lengthy process and so not worth my time. My advice to anyone contemplating using this firm, is to find another and run quickly, as I think you can do much better somewhere else read more

Wow, I would never use this law firm. I looked for representation for my personal injury case. If I would have had them represent me Suzie Zachar Irwin would have back doored me. She would have acted more like a defense attorney instead of as a plaintiffs attorney that I was looking for. In other words she would have been working more for those who had harmed me.In fact she told me she used to defend those same people who had harmed me, earlier in her career.
