They said it would be a week or so on the jeans, which was not a problem,,, so when I went back a week to ten days later, they said nothing was back yet (apparently the actual work is done elsewhere)... so another week later. went back... the jeans were ready but yikes, the price. Shorten one inch and launder with starch... $40 plus! And the best part was this: after some checking and calling the main office, etc... turns out my clothes were given to a regular customer with a similar name. I had the claim check and they said they didn't know how an order could be given to someone without a claim check. So after about 30 minutes or so, they said they would do some more checking and call me. That was six or seven weeks ago... still no call... no clothes... and no offer to make the theft of my clothes good for me. So the upshot of it all... not an establishment where I want to trust my clothes... and apparently based on the cost of the jeans ($12 ea. plus tax to shorten...$5.75 ea. plus tax to launder and press) exorbitantly priced. We moved here last year from the Houston area and these prices are approximately double what we paid to have jeans laundered and pressed in the Houston area... and as it turned out, really expensive for me. I do NOT recommend Central Cleaners on Wax Road in Central.

When I asked for a list of items and costs , I was told it was not available, nor are the prices posted anywhere in the shop. My fault for assuming this to be a business that was not trying to hide anything. The owner is loud, rude and unprofessional yelling at employees in front of customers. When I asked about why the prices were so much higher than comparable local dry cleaners I was told they use special chemicals, they are better than other cleaners and if I didn't like it I did not need to come back. Now that is customer service above and beyond. The store is a mess, unkept and disorganized. I had to return items that were not mine, another customers order was lost.

She went to pick it up it wasn't ready, "please come back tomorrow" she went back the morning she had an event to go to out of town & dress was not ready for a second time. The excuse "oh sorry we're busy" well when I have a deadline at work and a client wanting something and I'm busy I work late to deliver. You fail to deliver you lose a customer and the 15 people they are going to tell. Do better, there's a million other options.
