Dr. Stockton is really amazing. First time ever going to a chiropractor and we had the last appointment of the day. He was so thorough that we were there an hour after closing. He spoke with us for a good long time about our ongoing issues and traumas that could have caused them. We got xrays before any adjustments were made. He was very vocal about where we was going to touch and what he was going to move/do with my (female) fiancé, which she really appreciated. He showed us some stretches and movements we can do at home for the body parts that pain us most. Overall the experience was wonderful and I'm excited to go back. Update on the morning of - I am a bit sore which he told me to expect because of the immense tension I had in my neck, shoulders and back. The soreness is not terrible. But what is most amazing is that the pinched nerve/sharp pain I've had in my back for months is gone! I started going to Dr.Stockton about a year and a half ago due to really bad back pain and after the first visits I really started feeling the difference. Dr. Stockton is a gifted chiropractor. I work in the field of accounting and we tend to sit in front of a computer for a lengthy amount of time. It turns out that prolonged sitting is a specific occupational hazard in office workers. So I paid him a visit after experiencing some serious lower back pain which had me stiff as a board. Dr. Stockton set me on a schedule and was able to diagnose and manipulate the misalignment of my back in no time. I've been seeing Dr. Stockton for at least a good 2 years now. I can happily say that I am so grateful I started chiropractic care. As a patient for this long with Dr. Stockton I can count on going in, getting adjusted and having him answer any questions I may have. THANK GOD I found Dr. Stockton through Groupon. When I arrived my first day, Stockton pleasantly surprised me with his welcoming and comforting demeanor. He started out with a physical assessment type of thing, and automatically noticed that one of my hips were higher than the other, and then brought me to take x-rays. At 25 years old, I found out that I have scoliosis, unstable hips, and neck vertebrae that are completely straight (should be curved). I have always gone to MD's for skeletal/muscular problems mostly due to my extreme hypermobility throughout my body. Not once did they think to get any x-rays for me, perform any tests, or provide any explanation other than, "you're extremely flexible, you just need to strengthen your muscles and it'll be fine." Finally, I decided to go a different route that might give me what I need. That route led me to Dr. Stockton. Not only does Dr. Stockton perform adjustments, he actually takes his time to explain ANYTHING and EVERYTHING that is going on in my body. He brings out models and diagrams, making sure I know what is happening, and how he is going to help. He truly cares about informing his patients and providing them with the care they need. You can tell that he actually loves his job and the reason he is a chiropractor is not selfish - he genuinely loves to help people get better and be pain free. He's not in any way money hungry, and even worked with my budget, adjusting his prices so I would be able to afford it. He also gives you specific exercises that help with stabilization, which really help!! I have come in about 8 times now, and I plan on staying with Dr. Stockton for as long as I need. I am beyond pleased with my experience here and I finally feel hopeful and excited for improvements and changes in my body - I have already noticed a huge difference in my stability and even my digestion!!
