I was traveling through NC near Murphy and ran over something metal in the road that shredded a rear tire on my Tundra. I can change a flat, but I was dreading doing it with cars whizzing by too close and the temp dropping. ZACK's happened to be driving by and stopped to help. Darrold grabbed his tools and off we went! We were like a little pit crew and knocked that out in minutes. I truly appreciate the help. As a single woman, traveling alone can be anxiety filled. It's nice to know there are good people willing to help who make you feel safe. THANK YOU Darrold for being a good person and for helping me get back on the road fast. My car wouldn't start, and we were trying to leave Cataloochee campground. No cell service, but I was able to use the camp host phone to call my insurance. I honestly wasn't sure if anyone was gonna come, because there was confusion with the bad phone service. But Zach's Roadside Rescue came through! He showed up with his jumper cables and gave me a jumpstart. He was knowledgeable, amiable, and helpful -- even after his long drive without knowing where to find us with no cell service! read more
