The stretch farther east, between Statesboro and Savannah, is better because it has a relatively new QuikTrip. This Love's has 12 standard pumps and doubles as a truck stop. There's a Chester's Chicken and Subway on site. The restaurants and convenience store are open 24/7. This is Love's Store #320 and it's located about halfway in between Atlanta and Savannah at I-16 Exit 49: SR 257 - Dublin, Dexter.

The entire site was an eyesore for trash, unfortunately. The trash cans at the pump were full, the trash cans at the entrance were jam packed with litter on the sidewalk, and the men's restroom was similar with full trash, paper towel debris on the floor and in the sinks. Coffee was well priced and decent! Hopefully, this was just a staffing issue and increased holiday travelers that was a rare depiction of the site's cleanliness.

Each time I've stopped, the dog park has been relatively clean from dog poop, which is nice. It's a spacious area, good for throwing the ball and getting a couple of run-arounds in before your trip continues. The park is fenced in with a double-closed gate to be able to unleash your dog safely. There are places for the humans to sit too, and there are usually doggie waste bags available (although, if you're traveling with your dog... you probably have some!). The store is clean, as are the restrooms. And the gas prices are on par - you're not getting gouged which is refreshing, considering the super easy off/on location. I had my service dog with…read moreme, and the night manager, Krysta, repeatedly called out to my husband and then approached me regarding my service animal. While I understand businesses may ask questions about service animals, the way this was handled was incredibly unprofessional. Krysta loudly questioned me in front of other customers and began reading questions from a paper about what tasks my dog performs. When I tried to explain that I have POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome), she was dismissive and laughed, which was humiliating and embarrassing. Not all disabilities are visible. I felt singled out, judged, and treated with a lack of respect simply because I do not "look disabled." My dog was clearly identified as a service animal, and I even offered proof when questioned. What upset me most was not being asked a question, but the rude and public manner in which I was treated. No customer should be made to feel embarrassed because of a disability. Unfortunately, after this experience, I do not plan on returning.

The gas prices are about the same as other exits. Bathrooms could use some updating. You must purchase something to use them and you will need a key. Not an issue for me because I love getting a big sweet tea and some spicy boiled peanuts. If you have time you must walk around the small travel center in same parking lot. It's a old log cabin and picnic tables with a cute wishing well. There is a cute outhouse that's old too but not for use of course. The old post office building is there too. Just a nice little place to make you feel you've gone back in time.

This is a tiny little gas station out in the country. You can find it just off I-16 exit 32 (SR 112…read more- Allentown, Montrose) in the small town of Allentown. Note: At the time of writing this review, Yelp has an incorrect map marker for this gas station. I've submitted a fix and hopefully a Yelp moderator will correctly accept it by the time you read this. The station only has 4 pumps. When I visited, the pumps were a bit worn and the displays were hard to read. At this station, you actually pump first and then pay inside with cash or credit card. When I walked inside, a polite young lady behind the counter had a notebook with all of the pump prices owed handwritten neatly in succession. After I paid, she crossed my price off the list. Old school. The entrances to the restrooms are located outside, but you have to go inside the convenience store first and then back out through the back of the store because access to the restrooms directly from the outside has been blocked off by a chain-link fence. I used one of the two restrooms. It was very small, but clean enough. They had run out of paper towels inside the restroom so they let me use the roll sitting on the counter inside the store. As I was leaving, a burly old man dressed in camo entered the store and asked the lady how her mother was doing. There's an abandoned gas station across the street. It looks like a great setting for a (horror) movie.
