Think you have been to a Zara store before, think again, this location is 4 floors, spread over an…read moreentire building taking up a city block, it even has a cafe.
My intention was to run in grab a sweater I saw at home in the Stares and be in way, this was NOT the case. Admittedly, I couldn't figure out what floor I was, if I was in the women's department or somewhere in-between, the store was huge.
There are 4 floors, hidden nooks, dedicated shoe and purse wings, pajamas, intimates and so much more. During my time in the store, it was easy to get turned around, signs outside of the the obvious floor indicators would have been helpful. Once I found the fitting rooms it took some navigating to wait in line and the rooms were so small it was hard to try things on, all while not open the curtain on yourself.
Zara offers self check out, others may find it quick, but after choosing your preferred language, you literally throw your items in a box cut into the counter, confirm it's right, checkout, pay and then wait for an employee to eventually show up to verify your purchase. Personally, I would rather wait in a checkout line.
