I spent over $400 at the newmarket store, the cashier asked if i wanted a printed or text receipt, i went with a text receipt which i never received, i have spoken to customer service several times and they cannot located one and basically told me they cannot help me nor can i do a return without a receipt, i told them i can show them the charges on my credit card and if they could just authorize an exchange or return and NO, not even a credit even though this was not my mistake! I have an email from them showing my returns on the same day, i have credit card receipts and they dont care!! They will not give me the store's phone number to speak with a manager, basically I am stuck with the purchases, Zara's customer service is the worst I've ever experienced, they will not do anything!!! read more

I came at 7:50 pm yesterday and had a few pieces which i wants to try, a girl who worked there said: you must be at cashier at that time . must ? is it a customer service zara represent ? Update: March 13 2025, my wife recieved the reciept from ZARA after a call to ZARA Spain. My Wife asked that I return the top to ZARA because she refused to enter the store. I went to the store to return the top, I explained to the sales rep about the poor customer service and requested to speak to the manager. The sales rep called the Manager ( Asian Lady) I bring up who she is so there is no mistake on whom I am talking about. The manager said that she remembers my wife and wanted to espress that my wife threw the top at her and almost hit the customer that the manager was talking to because the manager felt that my wifes problem was best delt with by a sales person. I had disputed the managers version of what transpired and the manager then started raising her voice and getting aggressive, when I asked the manager why she was raising her voice and getting aggressive, she said " I am matching you!" I was not aggressive nor did I raise my voice, my wife is well respected within the community and within her business and is considered the most patient person in the world by everyone including her past employers, business partners, and the community. The Manager of this store accused my wife of lying, being aggressive and attempted assult on a customer. This coming from a manager who started to escalate the return I did when I expressed my displeasure of the customer service and disputed her version of what happened. read more

This store has the worst, rudest store manager that I have ever seen in my whole life. I was cashing out a pair of shoes at the store tonight and asked the cashier to write on the receipt that the shoes have dust and scratches at the bottom and they are not connected (in case I wanted to return them after I try them at home). The cashier attached another tag to it but it was in a way that I would not be able to try them at home. I told her that it should be connected to a place that is already there. Which she ignored and I passed. Asked the cashier where should I scan my Zara app and she showed me the machine for the credit/debit card. I told to my sister who was accompanying me, in my mother tongue, that the cashier didn't know how to do that. Then suddenly the store manager (night shift, Saturday, March 23rd, 2024) who happened to be speaking the same language and was standing next to the cashier, jumped in, with the rudest, worst way of talking and in front of the whole other customers shouted at me and said don't be rude to my employee. I don't sell to you. I didn't know that she was the store manager. I asked that I want to speak with the store manager and she said she was the store manager. I asked her for her name and she refused to provide any name. She asked me to leave "HER" store!!!!!! I was on my way to leave myself. Just wanted to share my experience at that store. I will file a complaint with Zara Canada for sure. I hope Zara is more careful when choosing their store "Managers". Unfortunately, this one was far and away from being manager due to the lack of professionalism, politeness, and customer service abilities. Due to her poor behavior, this store doesn't get any stars. Customer service at this and every other Zara I have been to is horrible. This store had 25 people in line last Saturday and 1 cash open. Many staff members clustered around the cash, but no one helping. Honestly, with so many stores closing and people online shopping, why are staff doing this? Do they want to drive themselves out of a job???? read more

On Fri Oct 2 arrived at 7:40 to do one quick return, yesterday was it final return day and I was turned away at the door stating they aren't letting anyone else in. I was in such shock since I have never experienced that before at any other Zara. The store was empty two people in line at the women cash. Apparently from the lady coming in behind me she has come across this once before at this location. Apparently one manager there tries to do this to close the store early to get out. I feel this is totally unprofessional and horrible costumer service and I wouldn't expect this to part of any zara company culture. read more
