Second, you'll be working with Everton, the owner. That makes communication easier - he's not always on site, but responds quickly when you reach out. In our case, it was a good size project: demolishing a concrete patio, installing a new drain system, two sets of steps, adjacent to a pool, and with a narrow alley access (no truck to the back yard). It took a little longer than expected, but the final result was worth it. The demo crew was efficient, neat, and worked safely. The prep crew spent a good deal of time installing the drain system, note the photo of the tie-in to the downspout - that was not in the proposal, but they felt it was the way to go. Too, they spent hours grading and leveling to insure the base was prepped correctly. The install crew took their time, and I was really pleased with the detail of the odd cuts required - see the angles and corners. As well, when I mentioned it, Everton made a special order to get grey drains for me (see photos), as they just looked better with the paver we chose (stock is black). The install crew even ripped up a section to install an additional drain right below the downspout for the patio cover I was having another contractor install. No one asked them to do that - they just felt it was the right thing to do. It's the extra details like these I feel set them apart.

He was the first to respond via Yelp and by phone call. His messages were very thorough and more importantly for us, he was available the next day to complete the job. We had two large console TVs, two wooden desks, heavy encyclopedias & year books galore, and just plain ol junk junk junk!! We were up to our wits end after one full day of sorting and cleaning. I couldn't imagine loading our own vehicles to haul away these items, so we did the next best thing and called in the expert to do the rest. Oscar followed up with a text on the day of and arrived at the time we agreed upon. Even in the rain, Oscar was up for the job. During my final walkthrough with my realtor, I decided to pull the trigger on epoxy floors. Jimmy was in the area and at the house in 15 minutes to check it out, explain options, and provided a quote a few hours later. He brought samples and explained the different products. I looked through Priority Epoxy's website and followed up with him on questions I had for color choices and longevity/durability. He worked with me on the tight schedule I had and got it all done on time as promised, then followed up with me a week later to see if there was any concerns. A few bubbles had appeared during the curing process in the relief lines of the concrete which he came back and cleaned up. Having a professional epoxy floor done isn't cheap but Jimmy's pricing was very competitive. The finish of the floor is uniform throughout- they even got the flake looking perfect on the stem wall underneath the big rear cabinet.
