Never touched and examined my extremely sprained ankle of the fracture in my foot. Wrapped me in a bandage and sent me on my way. Gave me a CD supposedly of my xrays that at home were blank. Never mailed a replacement CD as requested to their staff by me. He gave me a CD if "I wanted to get a 2nd opinion". What doctor does that without being asked? Thank God I did. My current doctor gave a thorough exam, checked my foot carefully and ankle. Showed me xrays and the space in mm they were separated and decided to see if it would heal without surgery. Also, gave me a boot to wear. Using crutches for weeks to stay off foot and now can walk in the boot. I do not need surgery and am going to a real doctor & professional that didn't just want to do surgery for the dollars. Do NOT use Dr. DiTrolio. And the bill from them to the insurance company was much higher that my current doctor. Run the other way!

This is a review of the Flushing location on Roosevelt Ave. Dr. Qian Xu works in this office on…read moreSundays. I never thought I could be this impressed with a young doctor. Dr. Xu is an outstanding, thorough, caring and patient podiatrist. I came in with foot pain. Those of us who have been to podiatrist before, we are told certain options before a diagnosis is even available. They tell you to either 1. Get a cortisone shot 2. Purchase customized orthotics (usually out of pocket) or 3. Go straight to Physical Therapy. Dr. Xu did not do this. He listened patiently to my concerns. He performed various tests to pinpoint the origin of the pain. He then informed me that x-rays were needed to be done to provide additional details. Meanwhile, a prescription to handle the pain was given. Follow-up was in a week. X-rays were done shortly and after 2 days, I felt normal. I could do all the normal activities prior to the pain and contemplated NOT even showing up for the one week follow-up. I'm glad I did. The x-rays did provide additional information which Dr. Xu showed me on his computer. He offered different diagrams and models so I had multiple opportunities to understand my issues. He was able to pinpoint and provide solutions. I had multiple follow-up questions to his findings and he patiently answered every one of my questions. I left the office knowing what I had to do to maintain good foot health and I know this doctor is going to be my go-to podiatrist moving forward. This must also be said. The receptionist named Doris is outstanding. She is quick, caring and calm in working the phones while tending to the patients in the waiting room.
