He says he has never experienced such service. In the time we were there, several employees interacted with him in addition to the one who he was working with. We set a date to pick up the altered clothes in about a week, but after lunch and a one hour ride home, we got a text that his clothes were ready. It is unique that the fitting is done by the seamstress who works on the clothes right there in the shop. It was a little bit easy to loose track of how much we were buying, but when we got the final total, we were pleased with what we had paid. If am fully prepared for my husband to make other purchases when we pick up his clothes! We highly recommend Davis Clothing and their knowledgeable staff.

Today I returned it with no issues and then bought two life jackets and a whistle. The return was very easy. A customer service rep showed me where the whistles were and was friendly. I booked an appointment online ( as the website site stated it was required to visit ) and had to sign that I understood that masks were required. Their policy also states all items tried-on will be steamed before returning to Shelves. I researched my potential purchases online before going and felt safe knowing their policies. None of these policies were followed. I arrived at the reserved time to find the doors open to walk-in traffic, and some of the other patrons not wearing masks. Multiple employees were not wearing masks. And the items I tried on were returned to the store without any steaming ( even though the steamer was right there). Very disappointed; Ribbon Chix should not say they have these policies and then not follow them.

Very disappointing experience. (1) The item purchased (a white clay planter, $130 total) was not…read moreas shown in the picture. I emailed to confirm that it was like the picture before purchasing. The photo was the new pot with light antiquing; what was sent had a lot of deep discoloration and dark scuffs that were not disclosed. BTW, I have another of the exact planter, so I know what it looks like. (2) The item was smashed in shipment. When I contacted the store, I was pretty coldly dismissed with "File a claim with UPS." (3) I filed a claim and heard nothing for 5 weeks. The UPS website kept saying the shipper had been contacted and they could update me, so I called Plantation Place a number of times. The manager was never available - in meetings, out for the day, with clients. Each time, I briefly explained why I was calling, and I just wanted an update. No call back. Finally the local Murry UPS store contacted me and weeks after that, I finally got a refund check. It turned out Plantation Place was not the "shipper" referred to on the UPS website, it was the local UPS store. Plantation Place could have just explained to me in 60 seconds or less, but no, they just didn't respond. Miserable experience. Most importantly, the condition of the item was seriously misrepresented by the picture on line, although they were also completely unhelpful once the item arrived broken. I hate to post a negative review of a small business, but unfortunately this is the truth. The transaction should have been handled differently on many levels. I was told the by manager of the Murray UPS store they have been respected in the community for a long time, so I hope this was just a bad one-off situation.
