When I want "fast food" I love Zaxbys. The chicken fingers are always fresh cooked and the fries hot (and since I don't eat cole slaw I can ask for extra fries). This location has always been clean and the people friendly. I have noticed that the chicken fingers seem a bit smaller, the 5 piece regular plate use to really fill me up but now they are smaller fingers, but of course you can get larger portion for 2.00 more. We got there and the line was seriously long and not moving. We decided to stay in line because, lets be real, its Zaxbys. I began to think the only reason we were moving is because other people were getting out of line!. We finally order...I ordered 2 meals and asked for honey mustard with both. Took her a minute to realize I ordered two meals to go with the two honey mustards. Ordered a Coke Zero and a Diet Coke. Get to the window and she hands me two drinks without the little things marked to tell which is which. I asked her which one is which and she says I don't know and turns around. She hands me the food and says you should probably check it so you don't have to come back. 36 minutes from start to finish in the drive thru, not complaining about the time because we chose to stay in line. Good Zaxby's. Nothing really to write home about, but it works for a quick lunch. This location is never really crowded and always fairly clean. Service is not overly friendly, so, they coul boost that up a bit. Any salad from here is awsome, but plastic forks have now replaced Zaxby's long-standing tradition of offering metal ones. Let's start with the fact that the french fries and Bread were cold. At the time I placed my order I could barely understand a girl at the counter and she spoke so quietly I could barely hear what she had to say even though I couldn't understand. She seemed very confused and when I asked for my coleslaw I was told oh we didn't prep any this morning. Well this was around 8 o'clock at night. You think somebody had time to make some. I also asked for a ketchup They had a little ketchup cups but no dispenser. They told me they were out of ketchup and didn't even have any packets. Dining in is mostly fine for this location. The drive-thru is another story. The quality of the food at this location's drive-thru has been going downhill. My last drive-thru meal (Chicken Finger Plate) had tough, dry chicken that was grossly over-salted. When you take a bite of food and the only thing you can taste is salt, there's too much of it. The family cat will eat any kind of chicken, had a nibble of this and walked away. It was really inedible and I threw out the Chicken Fingers. Another reason not to use the drive-thru is that it takes 2 minutes to get food that way, but if you walk in it takes a significantly greater time to get food. Why? I think they serve fresher food inside than they do to drive-thru customers. I wasn't satisfied with the lackluster response from the manager, so I'm staying away from this Zaxby's but I'll eat at other locations. read more

Zaxby's has the best chicken finger that you can get at a fast food restaurant. I've frequent the various locations once to twice a week. If I'm feeling rich, maybe three times in a week. The dining experience overall is good. On this visit to this location, the fries had no salt, and the Texas toast is a problem in many of the locations, it's usually not toasted. I've also wondered why Zaxby's doesn't follow the McDonald's, ChicFil-a and other food chains in offering free wifi Internet service to their customers. After reading some of the reviews, it looks like the average wait time here is 30 mins for "fast food." I also waited 30 mins for my food as I watched the drive thru delivered 6 orders and the line inside the restaurant delivered 1 order. After 3 customers complained, managers and employees magically appeared out of no where and started working. Food was given to me cold and incorrect. It was not busy, so looks like just bad management to me. I frequently dine with other Zaxby's and have never experienced this wait time before. I made a stop for a young passenger that was hungry. The young lady was disappointed because they told her it would be a 20-26 minuet wait. I went inside noticed one person waiting and the dinning room was full of guest eating. The dive through had 6-7 cars in line. I had spoken with the MOD, asked him to make it Wright by not making us wait until they get their line down from outside because the inside need to be served too. We waisted 10 minuets disputing on how long it will take and how busy it was for them. With that said, I had to ask him where's your line for the inside? Wow, after wasting time, he lost one person in line that was waiting before me. Chris/MOD decided to make it happen in 5 minuets. I usually hit this Zaxby's about twice a month on the way to work. The drive-thru line is not very fast when I'm there around 5 pm. But I've never had a problem. I get the Big Zak Snack. The chicken and fries are always hot. If the line takes a little longer to get fresh, hot food then so be it. I'll gladly wait. My only complaint is that sometimes I think they rush the chicken and don't cook it quite long enough. I've never gotten sick or anything but I like my chicken a little on the MW side. No big deal though in the the grand scale of things. read more

As many have said before, if you go here, make sure you thoroughly check your order before you leave. Made a mistake and went back to this establishment. Today I went against my better judgment and went in to order fries. After I made my order at 5:01 pm, and looked around. Today I observed, the area that had self-serve drinks and condiments had soda and dried ketchup all over the floor and counter. There were at least six people in the kitchen, three had straws hanging out of their mouths talking; a cashier wrapping cookies with NO gloves; a drive thru worker on her phone while she walked around a corner and came back chewing and wiping her hands with a napkin; while there was a line of people waiting in the lobby for their food. A customer came in and asked me what was going on because the place was "nasty". I replied I had been waiting 20 minutes for an order of fries, and was just observing to see how long it would take for some type of manager to come up front. She asked for the manager. The manager came up, and she voiced her complaint. Surprising to me, this was the same person that had come up to ask one employee a question and went back to the back. She told the manager that I had been waiting a long time, and the manger stated she would get my order but I told her I just wanted my money back. I wasn't gonna eat the food regardless. She apologized and stated she was under staff, but how with 10 employees there. I will be contacting corporate, the health department, and the owner.... unacceptable. read more

we ate at the Pleasant Hill Road Zaxby's a couple of months ago probably around August and it was horrible. a couple of years ago it was pretty good --but it has really gone downhill. the chicken was very poorly cooked and not fresh. I don't know how they stay in business. read more
