I've come here multiple times, and every visit has been consistently excellent. The food is always hot, fresh, and flavorful. I'll start by saying this is the 1st time this location has let me down. They usually have very nice looking salads. But today? Looks like salad 3-5 days past it's sell by date. I don't understand the bad reviews! Let me set it straight. The food is fantastic. Friendly staff. I asked for my chicken dropped fresh and unlike most restaurants, they actually did it! The drive-through did take 17 minutes to get through, but the food and staff was worth it. Avery drove 2 hours with a messed up knee just to see if this place met the hype... he didn't have to but he did, and in his words, it was fire. Quick stop to this location after working all night to grab some dinner. I was extremely disappointed in the wings. One they were cold two they were soggy and chewy three you can tell they were flash fried earlier in the day and was sitting under a heat lamp because some of them were so dried out you couldn't even chew them. Literally the slowest zaxbys ever. I have been waiting on my order to get fulfilled so my dasher can pick it up for FORTY minutes. It's absolutely ridiculous. Next time I'll go the extra mile to visit Cameron or Ramsey Street. EDIT: My food arrived after waiting an HOUR and ten minutes and it was COLD and Incorrect. I had the wrong size fry, the chicken was cold and soggy and the sauces were nothing I asked for. Obviously this location lacks leadership and basic customer service. New to the Zaxby's experience since moving to North Carolina some years back and have not been disappointed. The Spring Lake location has been spot on since opening. I usually go at least once a week sometimes twice and always go with the boneless wings with barbecue sauce. Never had a problem, service is great and it saves me a drive into Harnett county or Fayetteville. This is my go to spot for chicken in North Carolina. read more

I avoid this location like the plague because of the manager Amber. She's terrible. She doesn't have the patience to work in fast food and she accuses customers on a daily basis of not being able to comprehend things which is annoying. If you're in the wrong as an adult/manager/person you should be able to admit it. Trust me on this one guys. Honestly the absolute worst person I've ever had to deal with. This is the worst Zaxby's I've ever been to, the staff are mouthy, they take forever, and my order has been wrong 3/4 times I've been here. They need a lot of work. Not to mention this location rarely gives a military discount, while less than 10 minutes up the road that location gives a daily military discount. I just left Zaxby's located on 130 S 3rd Street, Spring Lake, NC to order two boneless combo meals. After receiving my meals and pulled over to eat, I noticed my meals were cold and the fries were old. I turned my car around to head back to this location to request that my food be recooked. After being informed by the drive-thru food server that it will take 15 minutes to recook boneless wings I asked for a refund. The food server at the window took the bad order of two boneless wings and the drinks back and disappeared. Then April S. appears at the window to process the refund and opens the window and says "WHAT'S THE PROBLEM"! I replied, I just explained to the food server worker that I would like a refund for the two boneless wing meals that I just received that weren't prepared properly. She then asked for the debit card in a rude manner and SLAMMED the drive-thru window. When she returned she hollered, "YOU'RE WELCOME"! Needless to say I was furious at the rude service I was receiving. I called this establishment and explained who I was knowingly I was speaking to the rude employee named April S. at the drive-thru window. I asked her who was the General Manager for this location, and she replied Phil. I asked what was his last name so I can ask for him properly. She replied with, "WE CAN'T GIVE OUT LAST NAMES"! There are several restaurants in Fayettevillle,NC to purchase fast food from, I don't understand why employees with this type of rude customer service behavior would think a customer would continue to visit their establishment. You have NO BUSINESS WITHOUT PAYING CUSTOMERS!!
