Roses weren't really in season when we visited, but there were a few still in bloom and they were gorgeous. We saw someone nearby sketching them. The fountain at the garden has plenty of coy fish to check out. This is a lovely, free spot.

After seeing his videos and watching him work in person, I can say his workmanship and knowledge is top notch. I had a tricky problem with a clarinet and he not only fixed it in less than fifteen minutes, but also showed me what to do (I do rudimentary repairs but nothing major) and how he did it. All-in-all, with reasonable prices, a good selection of used horns, and quality of workmanship and knowledge, I wouldn't hesitate recommending him to anyone in need of band instrument repair!

Right now he goes to the Community Center and prior to that to the Gordon Creek site. Wendy is fantastic, she is very sensitive to each individual child's needs and wants. Chris Grubb is very accommodating and responsive to requests or to answer questions. He oversees the entire program, keeping in compliance and maintaining a safe environment for the children . He is particularly wonderful with the kids. There are always fun activities going on that the kids can choose from. The beautiful big gym with the new floor is great for the kids to exercise in when it is too cold to go outside to the playground at the center or around the corner at the Malta Ave school. The staff is medication certified which is also a great asset for children, like my son, who need routine medications. BACC is close to downtown so on special occasions or "adventure days" Chris and the staff organize walking trips for ice cream or pizza. I can't say enough good about the program. It is a true asset to the community.
